My cousins just ate there last week and LOVED it! She said her kids (4 and 2) have never been so cooperative during any meal. She thought the theming was really cool - the ice room was one of her favorites. It got loud during the meteor shower, but neither of her kids got scared (they are pretty resilient). Her husband got the chicken salad sandwich and liked it. Based on her report, I made reservations there for our trip in May. You do have to call directly as someone else reported. Have you guys ever done Disney quest or typhoon lagoon? If so, what are your thoughts/tips.
You know we haven't done Disney Quest since our honeymoon and it was a lot of fun. I think it's a lot of money for the add ons they make you pay on top of the cost to get in. I'm not a huge arcade type fan but Tim loves it. It was cool don't get me wrong, but not my favorite part of the Disney adventure. We haven't done the water parks at Disney, we're waiting unti lthe kids are a little older and we have two pretty big water parks here locally that we go to all summer. I've heard from people who do go to start at the back and work toward the front and to wear some sort of water/beach shoes.

We had a great time at T-Rex in December. My youngest loved it and was growling at everything.
I've included some info on our experience there on this day in my trip report. The menu is not the same as the Rainforest Cafe, but it is similar. Expensive, but good. This is what we did on our check-in day at SSR, too. It was fun! BTW, we just did a walk up and waited only about 15 minutes before being seated.
Funny, we just took our two babes for haircuts yesterday afternoon! They needed it desperately! Can't wait to see how cute she looks. Enjoy the sunshine! I know I had windows open most of the day yesterday to let some fresh air in the house. That was so nice!

Hope all the planning is coming along!! I just decided this am to book a trip with the 4/3 deal for May!!! We were not going to go this year but could not pass this deal up so...I called today & booked & then panicked when I realized I needed to make ADR's
So looked at all the hours & then was on the phone with dining for almost an hour!! I guess they have a new reservation system for any dates from 5/26 on (going 5/22-5/29) so making them for 5/22 thru 5/25 no problem but then I got transferred 4 times before someone could help me with the rest of the ADR's. I did get everything I wanted though so that was good!! Hopefully you do not have any problems.
How cool!!!! I have heard the horror stories about dining, luckily our window will open up on a weekend so I'll have some extra time. I'll let you know, ours opens up on June 21st. Can't wait!

I read on another thread where they made a ressie for T-Rex and had to call a special number for it; I assume it was at the restaurant. Definitely not the same ressie # for "disney" ressies. Hope that helps.

Yes I do remember reading somewhere that they will only be sending 1 luggage tag with ME now. Not sure when it was starting but I do remember reading it.

Right now my DH & I are seriously considering DVC (resale). Just trying to decide if we should take the "plunge" right now with the economy. We are thinking of Home Equity Loan & also redoing our kitchen..decisions, decisions!!
Good luck with the DVC decision. If you decide to buy BLT or AKL regular let me know, my guide is awesome and if you use a current member right now they are throwing in a free
Disney cruise. I understand about the economy issue. Lucky for me I'm in a job that is very stable and won't be effected.

We are planning a T-Rex visit on our upcoming trip. Our friend was supposed to make ressies, so I'll let you know if that worked. We are also planning on using our 10% DVC discount. Can't wait to tell you all about it!

Yep I'm pretty sure I read that Magic Express only allows one bag per person now. I'm not sure if they allow more at an extra charge or not.
I'm hoping they will mail out more tags and won't charge for extra bags, still reading a lot about it.

crocs and Lauren's haircut. T'REx sounds like a fun meal. Not sure if this helps but when we went back in August you received two luggage tags per person. That could have changed.
I'll get pics up soon, it's been crazy here. I think the luggage tag thing is a new thing since January, not liking that change.

I have read that you can make reservations at T-Rex. I believe you have to call the restaurant directly to make the reservation though, I don't think Disney will do it? I HAVE NOT heard that about Magical Express! Interesting! Have you heard about the shipped items fee? I believe it is $5 per package for bell services to hold your packages! We are still going to ship water but all this nickel and diming is ridiculous!

We ate at T-Rex in Jan. and we really enjoyed it, you get a ton of food! I'm not sure about the reservations part but we walked up and it was about a 20 minute wait I was surprised.
We got two luggage tags apiece when we went. I think that I remember reading that if you needed extra you just call and they will send them to you.

I had to cancel our AKL concierge to have enough points so FOR NOW we're booked standard view at AKL for the 3 nights but we plan on calling in 2 weeks to try and get BAY LAKE TOWER for 3 nights, I'll update you, I will be SO EXCITED if we get it!!!
i like cold weather for about 2 weeks right around christmas and then i'm done with it. i'm so ready to move to florida from october to april!!!!!! hey, i've got an idea. let's get about 5 dissers together and purchase a house somewhere near WDW and we can take turns living there in the winter. 
oh, yeah.....there's that thing called a job and a mortgage that we all have to worry about - i forgot.
