Discovering DVC timandlesley style-A PTR, 19 days TRIP REPORT LINK PG.119!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that you can only redeem them at the parks.
Unlike previous visits where your room key had your park ticket on it (is that how it has been for you guys?), your AP will be separate.

When you do get your voucher, you will want to call for a Disney Dining Experience card, as well. You'll save some good $$$ on that between this trip and your Fall trip...you get the discount on alcoholic drinks, as well. In addition you can use both the DDP and the DDE for meals in that what is not picked up by the DDP can be subject to the DDE discount. We usually only get one (normally under my name) rather than paying for two cards for each of us.

:flower3:
Hope this helps!

Thanks, I will do that!!!! Where can you cash in the vouchers? Only at parks or can you do it at resorts too???
Lesley

Lesley---that new T-shirt store looks like SO much fun!!! I can't wait to take Megan in there---but I will also be excited to make one for myself too!!!! ;o)

Are you guys snowed in today????? We have about 6" now at 9am, but I know it is going to be MUCH more by the time all this is over!!!! Have fun and stay safe today!!!

What a blast designing our own t-shirts and ears would be! I think I need to add some days on our trip just to get everything in!

We are supposed to be getting around 5 inches, later. But, I think you guys are going to get hit harder. Stay warm and dry!!

I checked out the link--the store does look like alot of fun for all ages, even the creatively-challenged folks like me:thumbsup2
Doesn't it look cool. I showed it to Luke and Lauren today and they know where they want to spend their money:thumbsup2

I agree - so pumped about this! Being plus-sized, I don't always find shirts that I want to purchase AND that I'd want to wear in public. :lmao: It should be a fun store. I love the little tee shirt things they give you when you pay that "turn into" your big shirt!
Very cool! Should be a fun store for sure!

I remember seeing this store when we were there in September - I hated that it wasn't opened yet - it looked like it will be a fun store...
It does look fun doesn't it? Can't wait to give it a try.

Thanks for all the tips and advice. Do you buy the DDE card in advance too? How much is it? Didn't even think about having the key to the world cards AND the AP's to keep track of, we'll have to put those someplace super safe, will DEFINITELY make copies of everything.

Doesn't that look fun, Luke and Lauren are excited about both stores.
We had about 4 inches this morning (I'll post pics in a minute) and for the past 3 hours it has been raining ice, HARD, looks like another snow day tomorrow, but hoping the power stays on!!!

I know, doesn't it look fun! Glad we're there so long this year.

Yes, we are getting hit hard with ice right now, then about 4-6 more inches on top of our 4 by morning, such fun, I love this time of year!
Lesley

So much new fun...........so little time and money:lmao: Looks awesome!
I know, I better start saving now!

Today I woke up to a 5am phone call saying Luke's school was closed and a 6am phone call saying my school was closed:thumbsup2 :cool1: .
We got about 4-5 inches of snow today and had fun playing outside in it. We bundled up and headed out for sledding. The goal was to go to a local school that has an AWESOME hill, but when we realized our streets hadn't been plowed we headed up the street to our neighbors house who has a decent hill in their front yard, it worked ;)
Here are some pics of the day:

Mickey had a BLAST in the snow, it was his first time in a big snowfall and he had such fun:

After sledding in our neighbors yard for awhile Tim and I headed back to our house and started shoveling the driveway while the kids continued sledding with neighborhood kids. As we shoveled we covered a happy Mickey in snow:

As I'm typing this Luke just got a call for his snowday again TOMORROW. We have had ice for the past 2-3 hours falling hard (sure hope our power stays on) and they are forcasting a ton more snow tonight after the ice stops around midnight. I am hoping my phone call for no school comes in soon!:hyper: We're letting the kids sleep downstairs on the pull out couch. We are getting a movie for them on the t.v. rental so they are super excited. I hope all of you are staying warm and if the snow found you today you had fun with it, we sure did:thumbsup2

Here's a link to All Ears' page on the DDE. It's now called the Tables in Wonderland card. It's pretty awesome. It's $60 every year for AP holders. You can't use it with the DDP or the DDDP, but you can use it when buying a meal OOP at a sitdown restaurant. It's a 20% discount, which basically means your tip is essentially free (assuming you tip 20%). The tip is included. It's a nice feature, especially when you are paying OOP. We no longer use the dining plan since the TIW card gets us a good discount.

Oh, btw, the "cute boy" picture of Mickey is great! So adorable. I live in Fairborn, near Beavercreek/Dayton, and we got all the snow too. The college I work at is on a two hour delay tomorrow. You KNOW it's bad when a college delays school. We'll see if we actually have it or not. Didn't think about losing power - yikes! Here's hoping we all have the day off, keep the power, and get to snuggle down in tomorrow!

What a fun snow day for you! We would be in absolute awe if we got that much snow!

Mickey is getting so big. I was looking at his photo and wondering how much Nala will grow.

Looks like you had blast

Mickey actually looks like he is smiling in those pics..too cute:goodvibes

Oh my goodness that looks COLD!!!! I'm sorry, but if I were around there, I'd probably be an icicle. It was just under 70 around my parts today and we were all freezing. Crazy.
:cold:
Hope you get your snow day!

The sleddding looks like so much fun! Mickey looks like he enjoyed the snow day as well. :)

Fingers crossed that you get your snow day tomorrow too!

Aw I love Snow Days. We used to do fun things with mom and I know I'll never forget the memories!

i LOVE the pictures of mickey! so cute. i wish we got actual snow here so we could take our boys out in it. sherman is 11 years old and he's only seen real, fluffy, white snow once. eli's never seen it.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed your day off! We haven't had any cancellations or delays yet, but we'll see by the morning. I have to be at work by 6 a.m. YUCKY!! We'll see if I can get out of my driveway.:confused3 Mickey looked like he had a blast. My Chessie used to roll in it on his back. Our dogs like to eat it. Did Mickey try and eat the snow?
Good luck with the ice/power thing. I'll pray for you!

Looks like everyone enjoyed the snow. We had our fair share prior to Christmas, and it hasn't left us yet. No January thaw for us. It has been bitter cold, but we missed the snow. I hope you continued to have power, ice can do so much damage. Good luck with getting off of school tomorrow. I loved how our kids felt like they were on an adventure when school was cancelled.:rotfl2:

Lesley, it looks like your snow day was a blast. Mickey is so cute - my "grandpuppy" is a golden, and they are such fabulous dogs with kids. We actually had a snow day before Christmas, about 4 inches at my house which was spectacular since we only get it every 20 years or so! (South Louisiana, you know.) It was not forecast and was just beautiful, and then melted by the next day. Our only problem is no clothing for that weather. We just don't use heavy coats, the kids don't have gloves or warm caps, and their tennies got soggy right away and they got cold feet. I don't think the crocs were very useful either! :rotfl: But they got to have a snowball fight and help make some snow-creatures, so it was a fun experience for them. I hope y'all keep your power and stay warm, and have another good family day. :goodvibes

Yes, you can use your voucher numbers to purchase it.
I don't have a phone number for them, but you can get information at www.disneyworld.com. It is $60 but you'll want to order it either one month out or closer for a pickup at WDW. When you order it they put an expiry date on it around the time you ordered it. For example, I wanted one for our September 08 trip so I called at the end of August. They must have processed it in September because it has a 10/31/2009 expiry. My point is to not order it too far in advance so you can get two trips out of it. :)
