I just finished last year's report! so good!! I loved all of the videos and pics! Your family is precious. And I've enjoyed your TRs so much, I think I'm gonna have to do one of my own!

So............ I was literally almost CONVINCED to add on 50 points at Bay Lake Towers and take the DVC plunge tonight when literally this all happened within an hour of eachother tonight:

1). Tim told me he was on deaths door and has the flu and went to bed

2). Lauren was in the tub and she is crying saying her elbow was cut on a hole in the tub............ a WHAT, a hole in the tub, are you serious??? I went in and sure enough WHO KNOWS HOW IT GOT THERE but there is a half dollar sized dent/hole in the bottom of the tub. I run downstairs and the ceiling of the stairwell and the entry way to our house is soaking and leaking and it sounds like it is raining above me, ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?! Longstory short we had a bathtub full of water in our ceiling, had to cut a hole into it and the water is draining into a cooler. I have a handy man coming at 7:30 a.m. to fix it and you know that is going to cost BIG BUCKS to replace the tub, ceiling, drywall, etc. AUGH!!!!

THEN..................
3). Luke comes in complaining his throat is hurting (I have been sick for 2 weeks with strep and Luke gets is often). I knew he was coming down with strep. LITERALLY as the cooler is gathering water from our ceiling and we are assessing the damage I had to leave to take Luke to urgent care, HE DOES have strep and now we're home with an antibiotic. I have to call off work AGAIN tomorrow and obviously DVC Bay Lake Tower wasn't meant to be. If the Lord didn't want me to buy it couldn't he have taken an easier approach into telling me

So............. that's my night in a nutshell, great huh! Gee I hope tomorrow is a better day

Ugghhh, what a night, Lesley! I agree -- a gentler approach would have worked just as well.

Lesley, that is a doozie of a night! I think they say bad things happen in 3, so you should be okay tomorrow! I hope the repairs aren't too bad, and Tim and Luke get well quickly. Sorry for Lauren's boo-boo.

Lesley!!!!! YOU POOR THING!!!!!!! I hope everyone recovers from everything quickly, and that the damage isn't too devastating to your pocketbook, but I know how those plumbing repairs can be----not too good!!!!!!!!! I think sometimes when we ask God for a sign, he goes overboard in trying to "give us the message!" Never has the saying been more true---"When it rains, it pours!!!!!" (Sorry about the BAD pun!!!! Had to be said!!!!)

Sorry to hear about everyone being sick, that is no fun but now hopefully everyone will be healthy for the holidays~

I laughed when you wrote that about the lord telling you something, b/c I feel like the same thing... first I find out I'm pregnant (unplanned) then we find out it twins... and now they think they are BOTH boys... good lord , how much does he think I can handle! so that little comment made me laugh...

The same thing happened at our old house, except we didn't have to replace the tub, it wasn't as bad as we had thought, so maybe you will get lucky...

Does Luke still have his Tonsills?? just curious as he seems to have so many eposides....my girls do and get strep alot too, but my son has never gotten it, he is hardly ever sick and his tonsills are out...

Wow, Lesley! Sorry you had such a horrible night!! Yeah...sometimes God's not-so-subtle messages are real bummers! But hopefully everything will get taken care of--no one will get the flu from Tim, Luke will get well, and the tub/ceiling will be fixed! Good luck taking care of everyone and everything today!
