I've walked past this little spot on the Boardwalk dozens of times, just thinking it was your basic candy store.

Well, if you don't want to battle crowds at Beaches & Cream for ice cream, you can get a "fix" here easy enough. Had a fine sundae. But what was fascinating for us was all the Miss America memoribilia, including clothing from the 20's, photos of all the past Miss Americas, and other artifacts. Definitely worth a peek if you're in the neighborhood, and especially if you need to get your core temperature down to 98.6 on a hot day.

Just thought I'd pass that along for those of you wandering the shores of Crescent Lake.

Isn't that a great little shop? I've been in there a few times and I was pleasantly surprised the first time. I guess I shouldn't have been - what would a boardwalk be without ice cream?

I'm really glad you posted this. I always assumed it was just a candy shop. I LOVE ice cream, so I'll definitely stop here next trip. Do they do the DDP at all?

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas in August. I thought it was just candy so I'm glad to hear about the ice cream. Love it when it is hot outside!

When we go to Disney we usually travel with friends or extended family. The one tradition my Dh and I have is to get away, just he, I and our two kids, to Seashore Sweets for some ice cream and people watching.

But do they have Salt Water taffy like the Jersey shore does? I would love some of that!
