Discover the Magic Tour

Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? We did the Family Magic Tour at Disney World several years ago and loved it. I was telling my 4 year old nephew about it and he wanted to do it. What is the tour like at Disneyland? Does it compare to the Family Magic one? We will be there dec. 3rd -7th. Thanx!

we went to the welcoem tour it was really nice we enjoyed it. discover the magic seemed to look cool i almost wanted to do it but cant right now

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get any replies. All the reviews I found online we at least 2 or more years old and vacation planning at DLR couldn't give me much info either.

Look foward to seeing if there are any other replies. I am too scared to book it as I don't want to waste our Sunday morning and find out it was lame.

I'm signing up for it for our next trip. Although we've been to DL a few times before it looks like a fun way to start our trip. Even my 17 yo DD says she'll go on it with me.

I know the similar tour at Disneyworld was great! Still hoping there's someone out there who's done Discover the Magic...

hmmm...must be that there's just not that many people that do this tour...hope that doesn't mean it's not that great...Oh well, I will certainly post about it if we end up doing it.
