Do they ever offer discounts on DCL cruises? If so, are they AP discounts (I have an AP)...or for general public and what is the general % off? Any help would be appreciated!

DCL does not offer very many discounts. There are usually Fl. resident, and sometimes Canadian or Georgia resdient discounts -- most of these are offered closer to sail date when DCL need to fill cabins. For the last two years, DCL has offered an "AP holder cruise" that offers some special programming, small gifts, etc. for AP holders, as well as a slight discount. We will be on the upcoming one (1/25 on the Wonder) and we saved about $500 total for 2 adults. So it was a good savings, you just have to be willing to travel in the off season.

The best discount is the early booking discount which varies depending on how far out you book, cabin cat., etc. The farther out you boook, generally, the bigger the discount. Prices generally rise the closer it gets to sailing. HTH.

I've never seen an AP discount on DCL. I have seen cruises go on "sale" as the date approaches and a ship isn't nearly full. There are FL, GA discounts, travel industry discounts, military discounts, etc. These are usually offered 3 months ahead of the sailing date. If you qualify for these discounts, you can book farther ahead and transfer to the discount when it becomes available.

Yes, there are definitely discounts available. I am cruising on The Wonder on January 8th for a three night sailing. It is only $199 per person and we are staying in a category six cabin on the fifth deck. I received the discount since I work for one of the largest airlines and also the best in the world.
