Discounts on rooms?

Do we get discounts on rooms if we are staying on points and if so where at? I know I've read about it somewhere but can't find it now.

Here's why I'm asking. We are planning on staying at the BWV for a week next dec. in a two bedroom(there's four of us plus a baby). However now my mother, father, sister and her two kids would like to go also. We don't have enough points for any more rooms and don't want to borrow because we already have our visits planned out for the next five yrs or so (if we could only win the lotto and buy more points or better yet they should buy in themselves ). Anyway we would all like to be together at the BW. So can I get a room there or should I see if they can rent points so they can stay?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

DVC members can sometimes get a 25% discount off of rack rate. These discounts seem to rarely be available any longer. AP discounts are also sometimes available.

There is a 25% Members Discount at DVC Resorts only, but it is NOT always available. It is for members only and cannot be used by guests. You can stay in the cash room and allow your guests to use the room reserved on points.

These discounts are not usually available until the last 60 days- except at times where the rooms are typically available.

Also check CRO for annual pass or special rates. Travelocity was offering rooms at BWV for early December at about 40% off.
