Discounts at BWV??????

We're going to WDW in May '03 and my mother wanted to stay at the Poly. (AGAIN!). However, I would like to stay at a different resort and I was looking at the 2-br. BWV (she also liked the Boardwalk), where we could split the cost. I was wondering if there are any discounts available for BWV in May (or ever), we have DC and I'm always on the lookout for codes and may be willing to buy an AP (if the price is right for the hotel).
Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, they do offer discounts at the BWV but they're not out that far in advance. Check mousesavers for the latest discounts and bookmark for the future.

Just wanted to make sure they offered discounts for the villas. I wasn't sure, seeing that they are DVC.
Do you know what the usual discounts are like in May? Comparable to the deluxe discounts?

Hi- we stayed at BWV in a 1bdrm at a discounted rate (AP) last august. This year I am having no luck w/any discounts there- i try calling back periodically.

Your best bet is to call as soon as the discounts become available because I am told that only a small % of the rooms are avail w/discounts and the villas fill up quick!

Also, you could always rent points from a dvc member. That might be cheaper yet plus you could get the ressie right now. Check out the dvc rent/trade board.

I was worried about them filling up fast, I was trying to price out how much it would cost for a villa on the WDW site and almost every date for this year is filled at VWL (which is where I want to stay, but DM seems to really like Boardwalk). I think I will check the DVC rent/trade board.
