discounted room and free dining

Is it possible to book the discounted rate on the disney website for September and add free dining to if it comes out? I am just not sure if you can add free dining to an already discounted rate.

Usually free dining means rack rate for the room. In order to get the Disney Dining Plan you have to purchase a package including tickets.
