Discount on tickets with 4/3 deal?

When you book the 4/3 deal and you get 7 day tickets, are you actually only paying for 4 day tickets like the room or are you paying the regular ticket prices for 7 day tickets? I don't know why I am having a hard time figuring this out.

You pay for a four day ticket and get three days added to it for free. It's not that great of a deal though, because the price between a five day ticket and a seven day ticket is only a few bucks. The real discount is on the room. You didn't ask, but if add the DDP you must pay for all seven days. You don't get the DDP free for the extra three days. This may be where some of the confusion comes in.

I have an Annual Pass, but got the buy four get three nights free offer for my May trip. I paid for four nights at POFQ and got three nights free. Because I didn't need park tickets, I had to buy a one day MYW ticket in order to get the pkg (but if I had wanted park tickets I would have paid for a four day ticket, then got a seven day ticket for the price of that four day ticket). I then added the DDP and had to pay for all seven nights. None of the DDP was free. For me, the buy four get three nights free deal was a better deal than the Annual Pass rate being offered.
