I have noticed that the Fantasy & Dream have lots of dates this fall that have already been discounted. Does anyone have any experience with these prices going down more once PIF date has passed?

this is the bottom price. There are often several types of discounts. On the website it’s the price for all cruisers. There are sometimes florida residents and military which are often less than the every body price. The current discounts are great and we couldn’t resist jumping on a few. My daughter canceled her September cruise and booked TWO oceanview rooms for the same price she was paying for 1 veranda room with 4 people. She’s happy not to share her cabin with the teens now. I jumped on the 8 night fantasy cruise. It’s one of my bucket list cruises. Just make sure you read the list of restrictions

This is the first time I have seen *GT rates this far out and for prime summer/fall cruises. I do not think they will go lower than this. These are usually offered after Paid In Full date but with the Wish coming into service they have a lot of cabins to sell on all 5 ships so they are enticing people to book with the discount.

My nephew has had an August Fantasy cruised booked and I mentioned to him that the ship had *GT rates. I told him to talk to his TA and see about cancelling and rebooking. They were hesitant as they never booked one of those rates before. They did it and are so happy. They cancelled their cruise and gave up their assigned ocenview cabin and booked a verandah which they never had before.....plus they are getting back over $900 refund. They are waiting for their assignment.

If anyone has a summer cruise booked check to see if they have discounted rates. You will have to cancel and rebook but it may be worth it.

We have sailed the 8 night on the fantasy a couple of times, and have it booked again for October. With the exception of 2021, we have paid full price for that cruise - we never saw any VGT rates. I just cancelled the full price fare for the 8 night and booked as a VGT. Saved $1300.

There are some amazing deals on the fantasy this summer and fall. We jumped on the VGT rate for the 9 night in July also.

DCL must have lots of unsold cabins on the fantasy right now.

same cruise! I always predicted that folks would flock to the Wish and we might get some good discounts, but these are some of the best prices we’ve seen, plus this far out. I booked OGT because I usually book the 4E cat and love the extended verandas, so a regular size veranda doesn’t excite me. Decided to save the $350 difference between OGT and VGT and do some extra excursions. I think booking day is July 1.

Personally am not adverse to doing VGT and am a FL resident so more than happy to scoop up some deals. We picked up a 4 night on the Dream in August.

Thanks so much for all your responses. I had just never seen those rates so far out before. Guess I better go ahead and book!
