I quite often see stuff on people waiting on codes before they book. I was just wondering is it just an American thing or have we Brits been know to get them?

Do you mean discount codes from Disney?
If you do yes we do get them but I believe very rarely.
I got one a few weeks back(4th June) Unfortunately even with 40% PIN code it was still too expensive for me at AKL. US site is very expensive for me this year.

In the UK I think we get better deals with the free Dining Plans and the special 14 and 21 day tickets.

One discount that we can take advantage of is the Annual Pass discounts.

I guess you will have had to book on Disney.com to stand a chance of getting one. Doubt they will send to anyone who has used Dsiney.co.uk
I have booked cruises with Disneycruiseline.com, Hotel with Disney.com, and had Annual passes(purchased thru a Cast member) so it could be thru any of these routes. It came thru an email address I doen't tend to use much, certainly not given it to Disney in past couple of years, maybe thats why they sent me code, get me to book again thinking I have stopped going.
