ok if I am a DVC member should I buy the the Disney club membership or is it a waste of money because don't we already get a discount on passes and I don't need discounts on rooms wonder about AAA also please dont bump this to a different board they don't know what discounts DVC members gets thanks Kim:confused:

The Disney Card can be very useful. It gives a discount on Park Hopper passes which you don't get with DVC membership. I believe that you also get a discount on annual passes which is useful for those people who get to make longer or more frequent trips to WDW. Also, I used it for my rental car and saved over $100 alone on that. So, I felt that it was worth it for me.

With DVC membership you get discounts on the Unlimited Magic Pass (used to be the Length of Stay)
and on their new special 4 out of 5 year pass Park Hopper pass (which has been posted about several times here on this board).

We saved $$$ on our annual passes with Disney Club for the 5 of us.

I wouldn't do without the DC membership. We are considering an AP, so we'll save on that. Also save on purchases at the Disney Store (not that we shop there a lot, but still). And we saved quite a bit on our car rental for July. It definitely more than pays for itself.

I'm a DVC member and a Disney Club member. I use the DC card mostly for park pass discounts and Disney Store discounts. DC also sends coupons in the mail quarterly. Some of the restaurant and activity discounts offered by DC and DVC are similar. But, some are different, and they do change. You can check out the DC Web site at http://www.disneyclub.com

I say get both....like everone said, it will probably pay for itself just on admission discounts. :)

And don't forget the "Entertainment Club" aspect of the DC card. We used it to get a hotel room in Chicago for a DISmeet and got the room for 50% of the rack rate. That alone paid for the DC card.

Yes, you still get the DVC discount at the DS. However, the stores are not supposed to give discounts on tickets with the DVC card. However, ours does. But just to be safe I bought the DC in case the clerk that rings me up finds out the truth! We also use it DTD at the World of Disney. I don't think that they take the DVC card.

Remember that AAA also has discounts on tickets as does the Wal-Mart in Kissimmee so with the TDS DVC discounts and other ticket discounts, it might not add that much and therefor might not be worth the $29-39 per year fee for many.
