Discount at UK Disney Store?

Hi,

I am a new DVC member. I have seen in some previous threads that members get a 10% discount at UK Disney Stores. Does this perk still apply?

Yes it does - just show your DVC member card when paying and you get 10% of full price merchandise.

Yes it does, although I had a little trouble using my DVC membership to get a discount in Leicester last weekend. They didn't know anything about the discount but I asked them to call another store and confirm, which they did, and I get my 10% off in the end

Yes, it can sometimes be a bit of a palaver, but there's usually someone in the store who's aware of it.

I work at Disney Store and a few of us know DVC cards, but many don't.
Just stick to your guns, and you'll find someone eventually!

I think it goes through on the tills as a "Magic Kingdom Club" discount.

They know how to do it in the new Exeter store now, anyway; I tend to get a look of "not you again" when I go in

yes they do Karen - Kai got lucky in the school holidays as I let him have a GForce book - really just so I could flash my card for the first time!!

The man said it was first one he'd seen and had to ask how to do it, but at least he was aware of them!! Steve was rolling his eyes as I was chatting to them about DVC for about 15 minutes, all to save 50p (but it wasn't the savings it was getting to use the card - I smiled all the way home!!!)
