I am having a major issue with my youngest child....she is 2.5. She goes to preschool with me 3 days a week -in another class from 8:30 - 1:30. Today she spent most of the day in timeout in the corner or in the directors office (I don't know exactly how much time - but several times I saw her in timout - so I know it was a while). She's in a class of all boys - 6 total.
She is my child that will fight back if you do anything to her - or she doesn't get her way....her sister pesters her quite a bit - getting in her space & such. She will do whatever she can to get back at you. - today was scratching at the boys & hitting. Yesterday she had a toy teapot she started swinging at her sister.
Timeout & spanking don't seem to be helping - she does something similar each time - just in a different way. She cries & says sorry & gives a hug - but if you get in her space or take something from her by golly she's gonna do it again - unless you grab her hands & physically stop her.
She's a super sweet child (I know you couldn't guess it!) if you let her be ...LOL but that's not exactly the way life is!
She's also given me a time with potty training - she goes when she wants to but not at school...all the others are in diapers - she's the only one in panties....so she wets quite a bit 'cause she doesn't remember to take herself or ask the teacher to take her. (teacher won't ask her unless its the same time as everyone else is getting changed).
Gotta run get in the car line - I'll be checking in on your suggestions later.
