Hi Everyone,
i haven't had chance to post in this new thread yet, have been so busy lately. i have been checking in every couple of days to see what everyone has created. Everything has been fabulous!
Here is what i have been working on for Ashlia. Its a face form the pillowcase i posted on the last thread that also had belle smelling the rose. Its not finished yet because i wanted to ask everyones opinion. Here are my options-
1. hem the bottom of the Aurora top without a ruffle
2. Add a musk pink ruffle to the bottom of the Aurora top to match the straps and skirt ruffle
3. Add a rose print ruffle to the bottom of the aurora top to match the ruffle up the top but then not match the skirt.
What does everyone think? I am leaning towards option 2 so it ties in well with the skirt.
I really wished i had but a rose print ruffle along the demin skirt, but i done musk pink at the time because i never planned to use the rose print on this outfit at all, it was brought for a belle outfit, but i changed my mind and i really don't want to do the skirt again because it took a while to do the embroidery and then make the skirt and add the ruffle by hand.

I think my computer has a virus or something. That, or it is posessed. It is really freaking out. I have a couple of things I have made and taken pictures of, but can't post them. I will have to figure out how to get pictures onto my dh's computer. I want a new computer! I found a super simple pattern for an a-line top or dress that is slipover, not even shoulder buttons. I literally whipped it up in 10 minutes except for the bias tape around the neck and arm holes. I need to go buy some. It is a little big on Lily, but she loves it. I used my Ariel pillowcase (one side of it anyway). I also made a cupcake skirt for Lily to match a cute sweater she has. I figured I'd better get it made before it is too warm to wear a sweater! It was my first attempt at piecing together an applique (okay, it's still pretty simple, but I feel like I'm progressing). How do you do the coloring page? so neat

You can do it in photoshop if your computer is not posessed by a weird virus.

Heres a quick photo of ashlia. Its a little big on her because i made it without a pattern. she seems to like it and keeps repeating "you made this for me' over and over.

So I think the flower is too big, but do you think if I made a smaller one that it would look good there? This is a size 3. I don't usually make stuff that small and I think I forgot how little it would end up being when I cut out the daisy.
Someone asked me to make a dress like this and I was trying to think of something "special" to add to it to make it my own.
This is SUPER CUTE!!! But, I think that the flower may be a tad too big. My DD is 3 and it looks like it would really cover her. I do love the idea of it though -- gotta remember this flower!
), but not rediculous!Hi Everyone,

Yeah, I knew when I stuck it on there that it was a little overwhelming!
I want it to be big and tacky (in that good way that we all like!), but not rediculous!
Thanks for the input.

Is this a skirt or a top?

I think the flower would look cute off centered at the waistline. I like the idea, but it is overpowering at the neck.
I actually like the flower. hehe I might be the only one who likes it that large and in charge. haha
What if you did three smaller flower? and used the big flower for a matching headband?
I kinda like that..... "large and in charge"! It puts a positive spin on my giant flower!
haha its so true. You gotta think that way. and it would also look cute on a knit beanie hat!!
How big is the flower anyway?
