I have a few questions/comments...

1. Has anyone been to Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes....good/worth the $$/opinions please/outfit ideas?!?!.

2. Someone mentioned that they'd like some of the other Epcot fabric - I'm assuming that means the red one with the flags...I have about 2 yds if anyone is interested?

3. Is there a pattern out there for the cute "Fantasmic" skirt (for lack of a better name?)

Why are you talking about my cute Fantasmic skirt! :lovestruc

Yes, I used the YCMT peekaboo pattern. I altered it by adding ribbon instead. If you use ribbon cut it extra long! Mine was a wee bit short. :)

ok, only had time for this one. I do have the hearts outfit, but I wanted to make something fresh. We had a teacher night at the tour of our schools new campus. So she wore this. it was 55 degrees so this is with a peasant top and some purple leggings! brrrrr...

1. My dh and I took my 4yo and it was awesome! I thought it was well worth the money! My dh even liked it and said he would go again next time!:scared1: So, it must have been really good for him to say that!

2. I love that fabric, but have no disney trips planned, so I wouldn't be using it anytime soon!:sad1:

3. :confused3

We took dd to see the Hannah Montana movie last Sat and here are some pics. She had a blast and is having a Hannah Montana birthday party in two weeks

I REALLY like this! How did you make it?

Where do you all find the hair clippies- I must be blind because I have looked at Michaels, Joann, and Walmart and could not find them. I know they must have them but WHERE???

I find them in the jewelery/beads section, usually near the wire and pins and hooks and clasps etc. I have seen them at Joanns and Michaels, not so sure about WalMart.

I got mine at Sally's which is a beauty supply store! I think I got a box of like 100 or something! Oh, I also get the ones that snap together from Hobby Lobby! I have to use these for my 4yo because the others won't even go in all of that hair!

That is funny you said that! I was just on ticketmaster pricing out tickets for Princess Wishes. We will probably be going March 15th so I won't know until then!

We have tickets too!

I think I got pretty good seats. They are lower level row 6. The best part is that I got one of those mailings for $10 so we are going for about $60 (4 tickets + outrageous fees).

I have been thinking about an outfit for Drew -6. If anybody thinks of anything please post about it!!!

I was at WM looking for them last night. They told me they have not carried them in a couple years. I have bought mine a beauty supply stores. They were not at Michaels last night either.

Here are some photos from our Disney day, yesterday.

Gotta love their twirl...

Great pictures!!! The twirl one really cracked me up!

Here's my current project. I've wanted to do a Tink set for awhile and finally had a chance.

That is gorgeous - so light and springy! You do such beautiful work! That button treatment is very clever.

so the little miss would let me take her picture in her skirt. BUT only with her favorite man besides her father and iwth her guitar! haha

LOLOLOL! That is too cute!

The clothes are no longer a secret. I just told DD they were for Spring. She has had a pretty big growth spurt and a lot need to be adjusted!!!!! Here come more ruffles!

Anyway, here is her Tink set. I am getting bows done for the outfit. They are the same style as Leslies. Also I am getting a really cool bracelet from pbjboutique.

She looks ADORABLE!!! I love her outfit! Tessa also opted for an orange Hannah Montan t-shirt. But, it has a different picture on it.

Heather- maybe the creative disigns ladies have a clarice picture?
Great idea!

What a sweet little outfit! JoJo looks beautiful in it!!

I've had a very bad morning. It looks like our poor dog, Pierre, is going to have to find another home. The girl I got him from (last week) said that he was great with kids (including her 1 year old niece). Well, he hasn't been real great with our kids. He was growling at Sawyer a lot. But, I just kept Sawyer away in hopes that he would get more comfortable with us. This morning, Pierre was sitting next to me when Sawyer came over and reached to pet him on the back. Pierre bit him right on the face, with no warning growl or anything! It's not a bad bite, but he has a purple mark on his eyelid. I have been doing a lot of crying because I now realize we're not going to be able to keep him. I've already contacted the local SPCA. They said to bring him in on Friday so they can meet him. Then, they will decide if they will look for a foster home for him. So, I don't know how long it will be before they actually take him. They asked me if he was up to date on his shots. I took him to the vet last Monday and got all of his shots, but he needs booster shots in 3 weeks. I also had him scheduled to be neutered on the 20th of this month. Anyway, the SPCA said they won't take him unless I make a "donation" to cover these vet expenses. Don't they generally ask for a donation from the people adopting the pet to cover these expenses?

Anyway, I'm pretty upset today. I feel so guilty about everything. I feel guilty that poor Pierre has to go to yet another home and I feel guilty that I brought a dog into our house that hurt my baby. :sad1: I really thought I did everything right- asking he right questions, etc...

I got mine at Sally beauty supply, 100 for $5. I haven't found them elsewhere other than Ebay. (and they are much cheaper at Sally's).

Mailings! I didn't get a mailing! I thought I was on every Disney mailing list out there! I'm just trying to figure out how to afford 6 tickets! We may end up in the nosebleed section. You got a deal!

Oh Heather! for you and Sawyer! So sorry! I hope Sawyer is okay and that you can find somewhere for Pierre!:sad1:

So sorry Heather! You really did do everything you should, they just weren't too honest with you. Sorry about Sawyer, that is scarey. You are doing the right thing but I know it is sad and hard.

Heather- you could try the humane society. That is where we adotped our dog from. I am very happy with them and will never go through the SPCA ever. Try and see if they have a local branch. They were great!

I got it probably a month ago. Where are you seeing it? We are in KC and it is going to be at the Sprint center. Wherever you buy your tickets keep asking if there is anything better. The first seats they offered me were in the corner where you wouldn't be able to see much. I assumed that these were the only ones that were being offered at the "presale" price, but just on a whim I asked about the center section and he offered me these tickets.

I think it looks like it's gonna be fun!

I haven't been to Princessses on Ice, but dd4 went last year with her grandparents & she loved it. For weeks, seh would 'skate' around the house acting out parts of it. She even made my younger couisin help her by being some of the characters & they even had to leave the room & come back as different people.
