DUDE! I found this board at 1:30, and we already have 8 pages of posts!!

LOVE the oufits!

Whaever we decide for the board isfine with me, but I would prefer it to stay on the DIS.

I get webbing on a few sellers have a great selection.

Cindee: BEWARE liquidation. I walked out of iquidation a $500 gift card lighter, and a trunk full of fabric and trim heavier.

Oh, and look what I got on !

I think I'm going to make it into a twirl skirt after it arrives. I have NO IDEA how much is on that roll!! Maybe enough to share...

IT hasn't arriveyet, but the listing said probably cotton (maybe a blend) fabric. 6.25" wide. There are over 8 lbs of fabric on the roll! I can't wait for it to get here.

I made a twirl skirt, out of Minnie dot, blue dot, the whale material, and white. I'm making a sailor top, and I'm wondering if I should just make it sailor-ie, or should I Disney-fy it. I could put a Minnie on the front with a Sailor hat, and the word AHOY with a Mickey head as the O, on the back...
I'm not sure what I should do. I will be listing this one, on you know where, and it seems that more generic outfits, just get lost in the shuffle, where the Disney outfits, stand a better chance of selling. If I did it just in the sailor style, I would put an anchor on the front, and the word ahoy on the back...

If that's the fabric from Wallyworld, I just bought some and I can't wait to see what you do with it!
I think disney-fying it would be AWESOME! I think it would do well. Especially with people who are cruising.

I think that locking the other one to new posts and making it a sticky is a good idea. I definitely don't want it deleted because like others have said there were some instructions on that one that people took the time to post. I like that the whole board is running faster also.

So cute, Elisa!! I didn't even recognize Ireland, she looks much too old in this picture! You have to put some bricks on her head so she stops growing so quickly!

I would Disneyfy the sailor shirt. I really like that cute sailor top you posted so very long ago! It's still one of my favorite outfits!

Here's my off topic.

Dh is deciding whether or not to take a job in Iraq for a year! It's safe (as safe as Iraq can be) and a great opportunity. He had basically decided to do it and then at the last minute his fire dept. wouldn't give him the leave that they had already promised him. It's been a roller coaster around here for months. I don't mind change, but I do hate not knowing what is going to be happening a month from now.

If he does go though, it will be one less person around here to clean up after so I plan on sewing sewing sewing!

I couldn't take that. The not knowing what is going to happen, and him going to Iraq. That just sounds so scary. My BIL was thinking of doing that once. His wife was really pushing for it. Thankfully, he decided against it. I hope your husband stays safew if he does end up going.

I agree with Teresa, I don't really want a new board either. I don't think there will be any issues with this board, I mean even if we could never see the other, I think we would all be okay. It would be sad, but all (or atleast most) outfits are in the photobucket and Teresa has the links for us.

I like the dis.

But I forgot to add, thanks revrob for quick thinking and good computer skills. I just hate having to click on each and every thing, i like the flow here of all in one.

I like the free flow here too. I was thinking about that this morning. I mean, I would NEVER have opened up a new thread to tell you guys that I have a fear of styrofoam, crocheted blankets, and yes, I too have a fear of cotton balls! (never knew anyone else felt like that about cotton balls!) And, where would you all be without knowing those things about me????

I've been wanting to add some tutorials right to the first post in the last thread- FAQs, if you will. But, I didn't think the original OP was still around, so I didn't want to bother her. Here's what I think we need in the first post, so we can refer people back to it:

-How to post pictures
-How to make pictures smaller (thumbnail)
-How to multi-quote

I know I had more stuff I wanted to add, but can't think of it right now.

Teresa and I could work on these tutorials, I just want to see if there's anything else you guys feel we need in the first post. We can type it up and ask Tinka Belle to add it to the first post.

Good idea Heather! I sent her an intro to post, which she ALLREADY did, (girl, you are fast!) But, I forgot to include these tutorials. I did include our "rules" though!


I also wanted to add, don't you love my new siggy smileys! They reflect my kids much better than the ones I had before. But, I need a fancier princess, does anyone know of a good place to get one?

Yeah, I grew up watching Bill and Ted. On a different thread I was on, thy were talking about the movie Valley Girl. I have never seen it, but it's funny how movies and other media can influence what we say. (I say "sweet" too much, too.)

Elisa - Definately disneyify the sailor top. Ireland looks adorable with bangs. We just started to growDDs bangs out this summer - what a pain! I like my DD's hair both ways but her bangs never laid straight because of the curl in her hair.

revrob - thanks for setting up a new board, but I agree, with those that have mentioned it, it's nice to still be here. It's nice when newbies come along, and with a new thread maybe we'll get a few more showing up, that wouldn't have before because of the monster thread!!
