SO COOL!

I feel your pain! We don't anticipate our next trip before January 2009. It's tough having to wait that long! I'm sewing stuff for AbbyGrace that I HOPE will fit her when we're there.

Ok Shannon,

2009???? That doesn't work for me!:lmao: I don't want to wait that long to meet you and AbbyGrace:guilty:

wowza, I was only gone for a couple of hours and this thread just blasted off! Today my girls wore some of their customs to the mall and got soo much attention. They did look pretty cute! I will take pictures once they get up from nap!

Is it ok for me to make a shirt for me? I was thinking of doing a mickey head on a white shirt but since I can't and don't have a way to sew it would have to be like my dd's princess onsies and have fabric paint, is that dorky for a grown woman?

Um, I have made three mickey head shirts for myself that match Megan's customs! So I say it's A:Ok! :thumbsup2

Thank you so much Tom. I will have to sit down sometime when DH is home so I can do that then it's quiet. My DD hasn't been quiet all day and I can't think straight.

It'll be nice when the thread gets back. I've got to go find one of Teresa's posts to get her links, I didn't realize that when my mac crashed that my bookmarks didn't make it back when my DH put my data back on my mac. All those bookmarks that I had, they are on here somewhere I just have to have DH tell me where.

I think I'm going to make a peasant top so that I take a picture of Delaney in it and her pettiskirt, I was so busy at Christmas that I didn't get our cards out so I want to do a Valentine photo card to go with the Christmas one. Better late than never, right?

Teresa's (with no H) bookmarks are linked in the first post of this thread. Will that help?

If you like it, that's all that matters! If you want to make a shirt for you, go for it!

NO JOKE! It's killing me! I'm so itching to make reservations, it's killing me! We have always been a fall (October) family trip family. This past year, we went in late September because my AP was about to expire, and we needed to get in a trip before the expiration date. After returning home, we realized that it really was becoming difficult to travel at that time. Our DS missed two football games, and lost his spot as a first string player. He didn't really care, but it wasn't fair to him. He had been saying for a few years that we wanted to change to January. So, now's the time to make the switch. I hope we all can make it 'til then!

This was an outfit I posted before we closed down..

I totally CASEd this from a :wizard: seller...LOL

Elisa...this turned out great!! I love it, much better than the original!!

I need a little help from those of you who have done the princess faces on the twirly tops (or dresses) the pattern I've been using to do the tops only has a bodice about 4" long, too short to put the faces on. What pattern (or are you making your own) are you using and can someone point me in the right direction, please? I picked up my pillowcase the other day and I'm hoping to get working on both a Belle and a Cinderella top for our upcoming trip. I also picked up a Dora one, my DD requested that I make one for an upcoming birthday party that she's attending on Feb. 9.

I appreciate the help.

Thanks!

Yep, just add an inch or so to the bottom of the bodice.

I don't know who made this, but does anybody know where to get the straps from? I was hoping to make a bag like this for DD. She needs to organize her junk that she keeps in my car.

Go to strapworks.com. I haven't bought webbing from them, but I have bought those rubber shoulder pads from them for my pocketbook. Walmarts also has webbing, but it's kind of on the cheapside.

I just lurk, I have never posted. I love getting the inside Disney scoop from the castmembers.

Very cool! I don't know where our old Disney pictures are, probably in a shoebox somewhere at my parents'.

Teresa has a link of bookmarks in her signature. There, she put links to specific posts where someone has explained something. That's where I look when I am trying to find something.

Look what I did today, at the expense of my dirty house:

Just a reminder, it goes with this outfit:

Hey Nancy! Guess what I got in the mail today? Sophie/Scrappy on my JoAnn's circular! Megan said, how did they get a picture of Scrappy? :rotfl:

Love the outfits! Megan looks so cute in that picture!

CARRIE772-I LOVE:love: all of the pics! You have a great looking family! I was wondering what pattern you used for the overalls for your niece? I want to make some for my DD1 but can't seem to find the right pattern. Do you mind sharing?

Do you have the pic that you want to post uploaded to photobucket? If not, that is the first step.
1. Upload the pic of your choice to photobucket
2. Resize the pic in photobucket (above the pic > edit > resize > website - it will make you verify that you would like to resize the pic
3. After the pic has resized, go to your album, below the pic that you would like to post, there are 4 different codes (email & IM, direct link, html code & IMG code) Click in the box that has the has the IMG code. It will look something like this http: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
When you click on that box, it will light up in yellow, and say "Copied"
4. In the thread on the Dis (in another open window), click on "post reply". When you are ready to post the pic, right click - a box will open, click on paste. This will paste the link that you copied from your photobucket account.
5. Post reply. The pic should show up!

Thanks so much for your help REVROB. I have really wanted to post pictures but have never known how. I shouldn't be afraid of the computer, but sometimes the new stuff really gets me. Maybe now I can post more.

I'm happy you like them. I really do love to sew. It is so much fun. Each new pattern is like a puzzle or riddle to solve.

I am guessing you mean the black with pink polka dots? It is actually a pattern from The Children's Corner called Paulie. They sell at Heirloom sewing stores and on the internet. Peanut butter and Jelly Kids carries it. I works for boys and girls and can have either a belt in back or a sash. I made it into the black and hot pink thing and also the light pink and black poodle outfit.

YAYYYY! I found ya!!! I reeeeealy hope we didn't lose all our "history!"

This is the dress Misty (Spongie) made for Norah. She wore it to school yesterday and LOVED it! She got tons ooooh's and ahhh's from other-mamas and teachers. :cool2:

For the picture, she would NOT cooperate  so I bribed her with GUM (which she never gets!)...

She did not get any.

Please forgive her pissy moment. We were running late for pre-school.
