I am in love with those Toy Story outfits. How cute!! Tessa is incredibly impressed with Ireland's Webkinz collection and she loves the dress, too (so do I).

HI:
I finally came out of the hospital after almost a week, well... the headache turned really bad and I was on morphine to control pain, I had a spinal tap and was told that the shunt is not working the doctors wanted to do the surgery while I was in the hospital but I refused, I need time to get everything ready as the surgery takes time to recover...

Wow, Linette! I can't believe you've been sewing when you feel so sick. I'm glad it helps you feel better, though! I am praying for you! I understand how frustrating medical stuff can be.

That is one handsome boy, but I bet you already knew that;) ! The shorts are great, the bags are wonderful, and the curtains are too darn cute!

Make that two handsome boys! Your doggy is so cute, too!

It's so cool seeing the outfits "in action". I don't remember Anastasia's Star Wars outfit, so cute! All of them are beautiful!

Courtney's going to LOVE it! She and her Aunt Teresa have a special connection, so she's going to be THRILLED with the fact that Teresa made it for her, too. :lovestruc

I love all of your pictures!!! I especially like the one of the kissing couple :rotfl: (is that you, or are you the other woman?)!

We went to Petsmart today to get a birdcage for one ofour birds and we ended up getting a new baby. She is a Dachsund/Chihuahua mix. We haven't named her yet though. I will post pics later.

Those sweet little faces just suck you in, don't they? I can't wait tos ee pics of your new baby! We went to Petco last week and they were having an adoption event. Let's just say I'm glad we already had 2 dogs, or I might not have been able to resist.

I just wanted to share this gorgeous outfit that my darling sister made for Tessa. She made matching ice cream outfits for all of her nieces and daughters. So, she made a total of 5! I did the appliques and she did everything else. The girls are going to wear them when we go to Beaches & Cream for the kitchen sink. I believe bibs will be in order!:rotfl:

I love it! So summery. We could wear them to the ice cream shop!

all swim wear up to $19.50 is $10. So that includes those swim shirts (what ever you call them!) The swim wear is on sale through Sunday.

All clearance at the Disney Store is 40% the lowest price. That includes Giselle stuff! That $50 doll is now like $25.

I have not posted pics in a while b/c I didn't have batteris for my camera, but her is what I have been up to:

CALLING ALL DISBOUTIQUERS!!

Teresa, Stephres, and I (and our families, but not Tom:snooty:) are going to be going to the Campfire Sing-A-Long at Fort Wilderness on Thursday, May 8. We'd like to meet any of you that would like to show up! We're going to plan on being in the area of the campfire (I have no idea where that is, but I assume there's someplace where we could gather) around 7:00pm. So, if you want to meet us there, send me a PM, or post on here.

A few from our recent trip. Haven;t been able to keep up since our trip a month ago and now we're on to planning our next trip in January. This time it will be non-Disney cruise and 1-2 days at Disney after.

Great pictures!!! You look like you had so much fun!! I love the kissy picture too!

Enabler Alert: All Enchanted stuff (except the movie of course) is 40% off at the Disney store. All swimsuits are $10 too.

Jacob and Tom got invited to go fishing and Megan was very upset to be left behind so I took her to the mall and we got a Giselle doll, puzzle and the movie. We just finished the puzzle and now she is happily watching the movie with her doll. Maybe this will give me a chance to sew!
I so wish we had a Disney Store close by! Or, maybe it's a good thing that we do not!
With all of you talking about Napoleon I had to watch it again last night!

How about some eggy juice to go with that delicious bass? Or maybe some Quesa-DILL- a s ?

When Napoleon was Dancing DS was Dancing along. TOO FUNNY!

Lydia does that dance too!!! Too funny!

Hello all...I survived the birthday slumber party last night...actually it worked out quite well. The only tragety of the whole thing was I left the camera on the table when we left to go horseback riding:sad2: Here are some pics...it was Enchanted!

After everyone left I was able to finish a Daisy Kingdom outfit with cute searsucker fabric from Walmart....I am making the dress of the same pattern...this was the two piece pattern. The ruffles were time-comsuming cause you had to do a narrow hem on the top and bottom then ruffle and attach and sew again. However the results were nice so I am happy...

Will you LOOK at that CAKE! Ooooh I love the frosting! Its been a week and we are still eating Mickey MouseClub House cake, okay, I'M eating MMCH cake.

I wish I could meet other DisBoutiquer's while there!!!!!

I had a relaxing day, went to Barnes and Noble.

DH and DD and I went for a walk this afternoon- I caved and told DH Im ready to have another one. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN HIM! He had a grin from ear to ear and is so happy!!!! Man, I wish I could have held out and waited to tell him once I was pg. LOL.

Well, I think Ill get back to sewing tomorrow- perhaps I try tackling the famous Portrait Peasant Dress....but I just love that A-line, its just so easy and practical.

Did anyone else see the My Little Pony post- I had never seen that- The build-a-pony at Once Upon a Toy in DTD. !!!!

Totally Wasted DAY!!! GRRRRR
We are headed to WDW tomorrow for a one day trip..LOL, so what did I decide to do at 8am...tackle a dress for Ireland to wear. Lex will be spending the day with Dad out on the boat. So needless to say, at 4pm I balled it up and it's sitting on the end of the counter, I can't even look at it anymore. It was...and I mean was...a Daisy Kingdom pattern that is simple, but I decided to add way too many squares thinking it would be really full...nope..it just didn't work....grrrrr..so she's wearing something she's worn before. It's so hot here in Florida right now that I pictured her wearing a cool summer dress...nope. not going to happen. Anyway, I'm charging up the camera and packing up the backpack. We plan on getting there to see the opening show, at 9am.. don't post too much while I'm gone!

Isn't it funny what they considering a "model pose"! :rotfl2:

YES 7 more days!! Now it's closer to 6 more days!!!! I haven't started packing yet, but I've started making a list of things to pack. Sawyer is sick today, so it's been a little stressful trying to get things ready while taking care of sick kiddos.

That looks like so much fun! I have such fond memories of my slumber parties as a kid. You're makin' memories for your girls!

The Daisy Kingdom outfit is so sweet! I love it!

AFter a fight with my sewing machine and lots of use of my seam ripper I finally finished the dress. DD really wanted to wear it to her friends birthday party today so I did all 9 buttons one hour before the party!

And the back!

The sun was in her eyes so she kept closing them! I love this fabric, just wasn't easy to sew with. The needle kept getting caught in the little flowers. We got lots of great comments at the party!

I am SOOOO behind y'all!! My what a busy few days it has been!!!

Welcome Home Lori! We missed you. :)
This is Giselle’s yellow dress from the end of Enchanted. Hannah was more than delighted and she said she was going to wear it to her wedding. LOL

yellowgiselleandariel010.jpg

That child is GOREGEOUS!!! You are so talented!! LOVE the Giselle dress!

I am so behind and will try to catch up later. We are having incredible drama with the PTA of all things. It is very ugly and why can't people act like adults? Anyway, I did finish something this week. It's a shirt of Tom's that is now a cute dress for Megan:

IMG_0449.jpg

I made my own lining but added the ruffle for modesty. I am not crazy about the ruffle so for my next attempt I think I will try Carla's halter top patter for the front. I made the straps too short so I sewed them together for instant halter top, lol.

I looooove the knife pleats! I am totally addicted to them.

Megan is SO cutie patootie!! I love the dress! But where oh where was Scrappy?!;)

hey again "friends"....when it rains it pours with me. I just got back from the doctor and found out I have a cyst on my right ovary ths size of a Basketball. YES, a basketball, he said is is in my entire abdomenal region. I went to the doctor saying that I have been having bad cramps for my period and they did a trans******l ultrasound to find the cyst. They have decided to remove my right ovary. Now I have to deal with being in the hospital for 2 days, and recovery is a month. My DH travels with his job for those that don't know and is gone Monday - Friday. And all the problems i have been having with my DD. My doctor wants me to do this surgery ASAP, but no later than 1 month away. I lost it at the doctors office and was balling like a baby. I felt so stupid, let me tell ya! Im really scared and coudl use your prayers and well wishes. Guess im telling y'all cause im really still in shock and scared. I asked how common cyst are, and he says he has been treating for over 22 years and this is the 3 largest he has saw. THey are not at all common.

oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. I'm praying for you!

Here is my latest. I finally made a skirt for my friend's DD7. She wanted something with brown and orange. I hope she likes it. It is the YCMT peekaboo twirl skirt.

IMG_0132-1.jpg

That is so pretty! It's so PROfessional looking!! I would so completely where that skirt. I would. I love it!!

We got our Disney Store pettiskirt this week. I am starting to really like it because it can be worn to school. It was a hit with DD.

Farm003.jpg

Cutie cutie CUTE!! Love that Disney store Petti!!!!

Cuteeeeeeeee dresses and outfits ladies!!!

My DD is having her birthday slumber party tonight!! It's Giselle theme! Whahooo....this is going to be so much fun!!!!

Her actual birthday was the 14th but she was sick for her party so we rescheduled!

Giselle is the BEST! I'm so glad y'all had a good time!!!

I FINALLY have some pictures to post. I have been sewing my fingers off, making 4 outfits for someone's cruise.

IrelandandLexieChristmas20071724-1.jpg

And here is Miss Ireland in her Webkinz dress. We went to the local hallmark store so she could get a new one and play some games. It was fun!She brought home a new Orange and White cat named Nala. So now we have Reindeer, Greg, Little Inky, Little Abby, Princess, Bruno, Cassie, Cinderella, Lucky, and a few others, I can't think of the names right now..LOL
IrelandandLexieChristmas20071722-1.jpg

LOVE the dresses of course...FABULOUS as always!!

When my step daughter saw the Webkinz dress she SCREECHED in my ear "I WANT ONE!!!!" She then asked if she and I could make that same exact dress this summer...:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Yeah...not so much. Not even on a PRAYER dear...I'm still working on pillows...square things...things don't actually require artistic ability...

It's wonderful. You could make a TON off of that one!

BIG scare for me today. At the end of the day we finished up with the aquarium and then had a late lunch at 10 Clams- a restaurant where everything is less than...."10 Clams" get it? Anywho, we came outside to order ice cream from the window, my parents said they didnt want any. My SIL were headed to the window to order, she had her 2 kids with her. I put DD2 stroller right next to my parents- the front tray was dropped and she got up and sat in it. I got to the window read the flavors, turned around and saw her standing, I yelled "Megan sit DOWN!" My parents didnt even blink or look her way. She fell over the stroller backwards and landed- back and head on the pavement. She screamed, I was already on my way to her, but just couldnt get there in time, she cried and cried and cried and then just stopped and was quiet and didnt want me to stop holding her. My Dad (family lives in different area of the state) drove the first 40min home for me so I could sit next to her. After he switched back to the other car I waited a bit and turned on a Disney music cd and started singing softly and she just quietly listened, and was back to her normal self, by the time we got home an hour later. My parents were sitting right next to her, but not paying attention to her, I am realizing that for whatever reason, as much as I love them, I cant trust them to be as sharp as they used to be, for various reasons that would take too long to cover here. I blame myself- I should have taken her with me up to the line. I feel extremely fortunate that she came out fine, just a lump on her head. Scared the living daylights out of me.

hope your little one is okay. That is so scary! hugs to her!!! And to you!

ok Everyone! I know I have the TR going, but wanted to post a brief report of what outfits we had for our trip! here ya go!

I am extremely GREEN with envy. such adorable outfits! Tessa is too cute. Talk about Sass and Personality! That girls had got bunches!!!

I can't wait to see the pictures at Beaches and Cream!!:goodvibes

I wish I could be there for the Disboutique meet!! I hope y'all have a wonderful time!!

I am actually the other woman, the tourguide. The funny part is that we also had a pic taken right after RNR and the photographer thought we were a couple and I was afraid he was going to ask us to kiss:laughing: My BIL family has never been before, so my DH took DS1 and DS5 back to sleep while we stayed for Spectro and wishes.

:rotfl2: :rotfl:

I love all of your pictures!!! I especially like the one of the kissing couple :rotfl: (is that you, or are you the other woman?)!

AFter a fight with my sewing machine and lots of use of my seam ripper I finally finished the dress. DD really wanted to wear it to her friends birthday party today so I did all 9 buttons one hour before the party!

That is a beautiful dress. I love those colors and that fabric is very adorable.

Heather-I wanted to ask how the situation is with your two dogs? Are they finally getting along? If they are how did you get them to get along? Our dog that we already had is doing ok with the new baby, but I figured I would get some ideas on how to keep them friends in case jealousy rears it's ugly head around here. :rotfl:

So, after a long party you still had energy to make an otfit! Great job and I love the color combinations. Looks like everyone had a great time!

Oh no!!!! I had most of it finished already. I actually spent 2 hours doing the three ruffles at the bottom. For some reason it took me awhile to do narrow hems and ruffle (without my ruffler). I think I am moving in slow motion right now...in fact I may not be making any sense...:confused3 Perhaps I should go to bed

Heather, sorry Sawyer isnt feeling well. Gentle hugs for you! At least he got sick far enough out that he should be all better by trip time. :rolleyes1 Brooklyn waited until Sat night, (48 hours ahead of time) to spike 104 temp  :scared1:

I like packing lists too. And crossing things off of them. That way I dont feel like I am forgeting something. Which brings me to another question....typically I iron and fold and put their clothes in a labeled zip lock minus the air. How do you do this with frilly twirl skirts and costumes and all??? How do you pack customs??? :confused3

Elisa - sorry about the Daisy Kingdom gone awry.... :headache: but I hope you all have a terrific time tomorrow!!! :cool1:
