Hello everyone I hope you and your family's are all well.
I have just spent the better part of 2 hours catching up on this thread. I tell my dh if I don't check it a few time a day I get lost. Then I have to skip to catch up and I hate doing that. So no cheating today. Great things everyone all your favs were mine as well but then again pretty much anything anyone post is my fav I love them all.

I am sorta worried about my Emily. I noticed that on sunday her shoulder the one that is broken was swollen. When I called the Dr Monday they said some was ok too much is bad. My problem is the nurse said oh her break is in the shoulder.:scared1: Ok her cast only goes half way up her upper arm and down to her wrist. :confused3 I just hope when we go back on Monday that they don't say she was in it for 3 weeks for nothing and they need to break it to set it right. So if you hear a really loud screaming on Monday morning about 11:00 am that's me. Going  at her DR. Thanks for letting me vent I feel so much better. Have a good day all.

I could not quote everything but I had to tell you this is me. Button holes and zippers have me terrified. I am so afraid I will make such a great outfit and ruin it by messing up the zipper or the holes. Just know you are not alone.:scared1:

Is your daughter in pain when she moves the arm? Is the pain at the shoulder?

You could take her to an immediate care or an ER if you are really feeling worried. Trust your gut!!

good wishes for you all!!!

I know I was so excited she wanted this! I am so happy she wants me to sew again. Today we are working on the matching sister skirt and a tinkerbell set! woo hooo
 I can't wait to see it!
I've been missing in action.
I got a job! Part time working at a Mother's Morning Out program.

We went to Disney for the weekend! March 6-9 I am hoping to write a trip report.

And my brother came to visit for a week.

And I did a little sewing

Adorable outfits!!! Your daughter is looking older!!! How dare she!

We saw Giselle at the Magic Kingdom. They announced her as Disney's newest Princess.

IMG_5794.jpg

I think you can get her autograph and meet her. Maybe she will be at Cinderella's Royal table now?:yay:

OOOH!!! Giselle!!! I hope we get to see her the girls will be so excited!!! I showed Lydia the picture, and she thinks Giselle would love to see her Giselle dress!

I did some 20 minute applique on some shorts for Sawyer last night. These are to wear with his button-up Cars shirt. This is the first thing I've made that is totally CASEd! I can't remember who posted it before, but I thought it was really cute!

That looks adorable!!! Now, he needs those croclike shoes from Walmart to go with it!

   We will be on the lookout for you!! I would recognize your little cuties anywhere!

We will be down to a group of 11 by the time you're there (our brother and his family leaves on the 8th).

Actually, David (our brother) is leaving on Saturday. That will be the 10th, so we will still be one great big massive group of 15! How could anyone possibly miss us? We are going to make everyone wear lime green Mickey heads, right?

I would go to Rite Aid and find out for you, but we have a tornado warning issued for our area.

Oh, be careful!!! I hope you are in the basement. When Arminda was in Kindergarten, we had a tornado go over (or really close!) . It was the SCARIEST thing I've ever been through! I didn't even realize there was a tornado warning until Heather called me. Then, Brian and I were looking out the window and Brian yelled, "Run to the basement!" (He had just seen the tree in our front yard bend down and touch the ground)We were part way there (and we have a TINY house), when the loudest noise I ever heard went through and I thought, "Oh my God, we are NOT going to make it!" (And, I NEVER use God's name in vein, I was talking to God). Lydia was a baby, and I was running with her in my arms. I get upset just thinking about it! Thankfully, it only took off some shingles and knocked down some trees. We were all ok. Arminda was on a field trip at the zoo that day. Apparently, they had NO warning system there, so no one alerted the chaperones or teachers as to what was going on. The chaperone with Arminda's group found out somehow, and he ran all the kids to a shelter where they hunckered down until it was done. Geesh, I'm shaking just thinking about this! Corey was in the school locker room, which is partly underground, so they were all ok too.

Heather, those Cars shorts are so cute!

2cutekidz - I just finished that same pattern. I made the pants also and I think they may be a little too wide-legged. I'm afraid they look like clown pants. Of course, I used some bright stripes, so that doesn't help the clown pant feeling. Maybe they'll look better on. My model is napping, so I'll have to try them on her later. Here is the complete outfit -

I've really got to get started on Ella's princess on ice outfit. We're going this Saturday. :scared1: I bought that seersucker princess fabric at WalMart the other day, I just can't come up with an idea.
I love it! Not clowny at all, and trust me, if it looked clowny, I would be scared and tell you!
I’ll run right over! Are you by any chance going to the Pirate & Princess Party on the 9th?
We hadn't planned on it. I think I'm just about maxed out with the expenses of this trip. That will be my brother and his family's last day there too, so we might want to be with them. Then again, after a week with our brother, maybe not!!!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks!! I had a wonderful day shopping and having lunch with DD, my mom and my sister. It was bittersweet though - today is also my last day of maternity leave. How did 12 weeks go by so fast?!? At least with the holiday Friday I'll only have to work 2 days this week.

I hope Emily is ok.

Here is the pattern and fabric I bought at walmart today. I'm going to make the dress that's on the top. That'll be sweet for the pooh breakfast :) It seems easier to do than the 1st dress that I'm trying to make. It only has 1 button, no zippers.

I was looking at that pattern today thinking how cute it was! I think that will be adorable!

We've really missed you Tifani! I hope Lily is all better soon! Don't tire yourself out too much! Clean clothes and dishes are over rated! :rotfl:

Well. I did manage to get the house cleaned up. But then I made a mess making my Easter cards. WHY must I hand make stuff??? Couldn't I just buy clothing and cards like EVERYONE else?????

TJ!!! You must be sure to pm me to remind me of your trip I REALLY want to come out even if its just for dinner or something. I'm going to mark it on my calender, but who knows if I'll look at it between now and then:rotfl: I vote for having a Diser GTG at Chip and Dales Campfire one night of your stay!!!

Oh Heavens!! I sure hope they don't have to break that baby's arm again. That would be the most horrible thing in the world.

I made this pattern as a top. You are in for a treat.

I lovingly called this dress the Hannah Monster dress.

teresajoy-We don't have a basement we are in an apartment. But we are on the bottom floor and there is another set of apartments attached the back of ours so we would be safe if we went into the bathroom. So don't worry about us we will be fine.

I just finished this. I worked on it while we were watching Enchanted. I went ahead and gave it to Jenna today. This light jacket is for Jenna to wear tomorrow. She is going to see Horton Hears a Who tomorrow with her class.

And she wanted everyone to see that the front is closed with ribbons.

Well DD9 finally presented her project tonight for 4H! :yay: I am so proud of her for doing it.

I'm surprised that her class is taking her. It's rated PG not G and there are some words in there that I rather my girls not here. We were surprised yesterday..

Our private Christian school took all classes from 3-year olds to 5th grade. I was kind of surprised that we went too! Besides the words in the movie, there were some previews/commercials that I really wasn't comfortable with!

I guess I didn't realize the rating on the movie. I just figured it was going to be like the Grinch movie. I know that Dr. Suess's wife was outraged at The Cat in the Hat movie, because of some of the stuff in the movie. I just figured that they would have toned it down some because of her. How bad is it??

My new sewing machine is awesome! Yay! It only took me 10 minutes to set up! I just sewed my 1st thing! Some test fabric! :rotfl: It came out beautifully...lol...I'm gonna get to sewing right away! I'm so excited!

I was at WM today and found myself browsing the fabrics!!!:rotfl:

This is incredibly funny since I have no machine, but I am daily inspired by your creativity and innovation!:thumbsup2

Someday, God willing, I will be here posting beautiful works of art, like all of you!

I was also a little shocked at some of the language in Horton Hears a Who!

I'm not sure if that stuff was to keep adults entertained...but it seemed a bit much for the audience it was targeted at. I was glad that my step son just doesn't pay attention enough to really get that kind of thing...my step daughter on the other hand kept whispering

"That's bathroom humor!":lmao:

then she kept count on her fingers how many times she heard a word that wasn't "appropriate" by her 8 year old standards!

she is a rule follower that girl!

Ack! Megan's class is going Thursday. I had no idea it was not rated G.

Ok, I'll try not to worry too much! It's just my nature though!

I got DIS Veteran under my name.

Gotta love that Sally! :lovestruc

She reminds me so much of a little girl I use to babysit! Everything had to be fair and by the rules!
Ack! Megan's class is going Thursday. I had no idea it was not rated G.

Me either!

Lydia and I went to Walmart today to buy Enchanted, but instead of being $14, it was ringing up $20! I told the cashier it said it was $15 online, but she just shrugged and said it wa $20. Both the one with the bonus journal and the one with just the movie rang up that way. I was not happy!!! But, I told Heather what happened, and she called my brother in law, who was at Walmart picking one up for Tessa and asked him to get me one, at $15! So, I will be able to watch it tomorrow!!! I'm so excited!!!

I don't know what was up with the Walmart I went to!

I went to walmart and got mine for the $14.97. I can not wait for easter to watch it. I also picked up dumboe, little mermaid and Mulan on DVD for the baskets. We have been slowly changing out our tapes to DVD's. Last one left is Beauty and the beat and then our collection is completed!!!
