Hi everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say hi! I have been MIA for the past couple days, but I have a very sick baby!!!! Went to the Dr. this morning and she has the FLU!!!!:scared1: Last night was AWFUL! She woke up at 1am and was pretty much up the rest of the night! She was running a super high fever and was shaking and crying it was sooooo bad! So needless to say I am way behind and I am sure that I have missed some amazing things, but I am sure you guys understand! Just a big thanks to everyone's kind comments on the newest outfits and my sweet babies! Don't be to chatty over the next few days so that maybe I will be able to catch up when I get a chance!:rotfl:

Oh no! I Hope baby feels better soon and gets some rest, and mom too!

PrincessDress003.jpg

ooh I don't remember either of these two! I love them both. Dh asked me "didn't you make a skirt like that purple one" I said "UMMM NO....haha sadly I am not that good. hahaha same fabric yes, skirt no." He said he likes yours. hahaha Probably wanted to say better, but hey I like it better too.

Hope you all are wearing Green Today! We are!! If your not then The Taylor Kids are going to pinch you!!!!
Happy St. Patricks day!!!

Lori

LOVE that! Fabric

can you believe walmart!!!! They got about 4 new prints in!

Lori

SERIOUSLY~!?! UGH...darn my wally world for closing their fabric dept.

I finally finished the Peanuts outfit for DD! (to match the shirt I made DS last week). I decided on the new CarlaC pattern, and assumed I'd have to do a stripwork, but I had just enough fabric to make it work!:thumbsup2

Trying to see if it twirls...

And Bitty and Nikki got dresses too!

If I have time, I will also make an underdress, but my mom is coming to town, and I am runnin out of time!:scared1:

I love that. its soo sweet. I saw that fabric but didn't really like it but seeing it made, and on the beautiful model, I LOVE IT!

Hooray!! The Belle Grand Dress is finally done. Here's a picture of DD8 in the monstrosity.
IMG_0269.jpg

Now on to the next dress. Here's the Giselle dress for DD5.

IMG_0271.jpg

Looks like I'm going to have to get some more fabric to add to the back in order to give it a fuller look. Of course DH tells me that it doesn't look exactly like Giselle's dress, but it will make DD5 happy.

Those are too pretty. I love the Giselle dress. That reminds me tomorrow I have to go buy the movie for DD.

I finished the decoupage jeans and peasant top. My model had better be asleep in her bed, I'll see if I can get her in it tomorrow.

DSCN2125.jpg

I still have to make a couple of little hair ties for her pig tails, I've got them cut out I just need to sew and turn them, I'm just using scraps of the bandana print.

Here's Delaney with the Easter Bunny from last Friday. She's bugging me to go back and see him again. I don't think that's going to happen.

Easter2008.jpg

Tomorrow I've got to get moving on her little easter twirly top so it's done for Sunday and maybe the egg hunt on Saturday.

:How have I missed this one? I LOVE it!

Aww, thanks!

Lori

How CUUUUTE are they!!!!!!

I love this Giselle dress! I'm making DD5 the white dress like Giselle. I think the dresses are so cute for the girls. It fits perfecty on your daughter and I love the scalloped top of the bodice!

Thanks! I was happy with it too! I promised another Diser that I would make one for her daughter, and I have GOT to get busy getting it finished! I'm askeered making things for other people! :scared1:

here was my first project(test skirt) this is some material that I already had from making cloth diapers.

here is a couple of dresses I made this weekend

th_S5001730-1.jpg

I hope someday to be as good as everyone here!! You all do beautiful work.

GREAT job!!!!! Yeah you!!! Your daughter looks so happy too!

I had one of my obnoxiously long multi-quotes going when Sawyer turned my computer off for me. So helpful! I wanted to say that I love Teresa's Build-A-Bear dress, too. ;)
I've never bought a custom from anyone else. I'm too cheap, err....frugal and I always get outbid! So, I'll have to toot my own horn. This first one is the first thing I made Tessa (besides adding a skirt to a t-shirt to make a dress) last July. I still really like it:
7-20-07closeup.jpg

But, this is my favorite, FAVORITE dress. Cinderella is my favorite Disney movie and I always liked this dress better than Cinderella's ball gown.
1-22-08front.jpg

I love those too! Everytime I watch Cinderella, a little part of me always hopes that THIS time, the stepsisters won't rip the dress!!

And, what happened to The Little Mermaid? :confused3

I completely agree. It was odd...I figured they must be in shock...the dad just stood there nodding his head.

Maybe after what they've been through, everything else seems trivial.

I was crying like a big fat baby myself!

MissCammie cried???? Shocking! ;) You are a girl after my own heart!! I didn't see the show, but I KNOW I would have been crying like a baby too! Heather and I are like that. Our mother, is not. She just looks at us and shakes her head! :confused3

Here is the new Princess Material I got and Anastasia was excited I was making a skirt for her!

Lori

See, right now, I am all teary because Anastasia is excited that you are making her a skirt!! I know how happy that must make you! And, that is one CUTE skirt!! That fabric is fantastic!!!

And OMG, Heather or Teresa, I can't remember which one of you does the organizing of photobucket and which one hates that part, but arranging stuff by fabric is SO COOL! You rock!

Heather and I took it over for Amy (can't remember her username right now! :headache: ) She's the one who decided to organize it by fabric. Heather and I work as a team, I upload them, then she sorts them. I hate sorting and she hates uploading, so we make a great team!

This is what we did today. It was in the 80s...and gorgeous out.
309062308.jpg
SOOOOO JEALOUS!!! It was suppose to be in the 40's here today, so I sent Arminda to school in a hoodie and a jacket. Well, it got up to 30! BRRRR I felt SOOO bad! But, she said she stayed warm enough! I had serious bad mommy guilt though!
Well, this is what I did today. I attempted a headband. Ended up pretty lucky, it fits her head exactly. Tried one of the fabric daisies. I don't know what happened between gathering and stitching it together, it fell flat. I will have to try again. Is it too big? And I finished the outfit for the doll, which you can tell by her dishelved hair has been immaculately cared for (grrr).

IMG_0151.jpg

IMG_0153.jpg

So cute!!! I love the daisy!! And the dolly dress is adorable!

That reminds me, Lyida wants me to buy her some lunchables....

Um, one of her old ones. I just made a tube longer than one of hers and shirred it. I bet Teresa has lots of patterns on her site (slapping head!). Next time I'll look.
Don't hurt yourself!!!

I'm so excited, I had the share. My sister and I just booked a surprise weekend trip May 8-12. We are taking our kids, ages 10, 7, 6, 4, 3, and 2. No husbands this time. It will be short, wild and WONDERFUL!!!!! I can't wait! :yay:
Hey hey hey!!!!! WEEEE will be there then too!!! Oh, I hope we see you!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: You are going to have so much fun!!!
ooh I don't remember either of these two! I love them both. Dh asked me "didn't you make a skirt like that purple one" I said "UMMM NO....haha sadly I am not that good. hahaha same fabric yes, skirt no." He said he likes yours. hahaha Probably wanted to say better, but hey I like it better too.

I remember yours, I loved it!

That turned out sooo great!!! But, I need BIGGER pictures! Please please please. :)

The Giselle is looking great too!!! You are on a roll!!!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYBODY!!!!

I haven't had the chance to be on much lately but what I have seen I love!!! You guys rock!!!! I love all the St. Patrick's Day outfits and the Easter ones!!! Easter is sneeking up on me so fast, I don't have anything for either child to wear!!! Ugg...been way too busy around here!!!

I love the cow and bandanna outfit. It is so cute. Last year I made a bandanna print outfit for DD and she only wore it once.

Your baby is soooo adorable!! I really like the outfits too!! What pattern did you use?
These were free patterns that downloaded off the internet. One is a smock pattern & the other is an apron top pattern. I modified them a little, but they are really simple.

Thank you!

Cute! I love the coordinating easter egg fabric with it. And of course the dolls need dresses too. I hope you get the underdress done in time: if you use CarlaC's peasant pattern I bet you will. It's really easy and fast.

Thank you for reminding me of Teresa's bookmarks there are several links for headbands. I might give them a try. Jenna got her hair cut short and it really looks cute in a headband.

I think once you got the basic measurements down for Jenna's head, they would be very easy to put together. This one was really easy and I was just guessing.

Very beautiful!! I ABSOLUTELY love this fabric!

Thanks! Now I am kind of wishing I had bought more of it.

I'm so happy for you! Your daughter looks beautiful in it. I know it was really stressing you out, I bet it feels good to be finished.

I love the cow outfit. I tried decoupage jeans once and they didn't turn out nearly as good. Delaney looks like a little princess: what a cutie!

I love those too! Everytime I watch Cinderella, a little part of me always hopes that THIS time, the stepsisters won't rip the dress!!

So cute!!! I love the daisy!! And the dolly dress is adorable!

That reminds me, Lyida wants me to buy her some lunchables....

Don't hurt yourself!!!

1) I always think that too. That pink dress is my favorite thing Heather has made. That little birdie always makes me smile.
2) Thanks! Next time I hope to get the daisy to look better.
3) Man, I hate those lunchables but she loves them. I offer to cut up turkey and cheese into squares but I guess it's not the same. She doesn't even eat the crackers!
4) Ha!

Good Morning everyone!!!
I have a secret to tell you....I called in sick:headache: today and the only thing I am sick of is...work!!:rotfl: I have the house all to myself. :cool1: Not one person around! I lit a nice candle, turned up the heat to 70, made a cup of tea and I am going to listen to nice music and grade a bunch of labs and catch up. And later on, I am going out to buy Enchanted on DVD. It comes out today,...yahhhhh...we've been waiting months....hopefully the Easter Bunny will put it in a basket along with some new Disney crocs!! :yay: So I thought I would stop in and Dis real quick so its off my mind. Otherwise I will be thinking of you all while I am supposed to be grading stuff. I believe that qualifies me as having a Disobsession :confused3 ;) Hmmmm I did notice half the smilies are missing....don't they wake up by 9am?

[IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y113/jenivy/th_peanutsnikki.jpg
Very very cute...dresses for both! I am wishing I picked up that fabric. I especially like Bitty's boots with the dress! :rotfl:

Have a safe and magical journey...take lots of pics and dont forget Minnie's sewing machine if its open! ;)

Ilove those days. I had one last week. Enjoy.

We went with the lemons for picture day. I had the material already for the peasant top. I love the way it turned out.

Here's a pic from yesterday. It is a great fit!! I really like this pattern for spring/summer tops!

And, this one was before school this morning. The peasant top is riding up a bit in the front - I fixed that before she left. She loves it too!! The peasant top fabric is white with yellow swiss dots.
