Disboutiquer's Fabric Swap!

Most of my fabrics are more in the fat quarter size for trading. FYI.

And in case I don't get back to you right away, I am going to be away for work next week. So, I'm not ignoring anyone and still interested in swapping! :)

My Hobby Lobby has the blue pooh toile for $2/yd if anyone needs it.

You should buy the whole bolt of Pooh fabric for $2/yard. Not that I would know about anyone doing that, or anything. :thumbsup2
--------------------------------

I have a slant shank ruffler foot that I can't use on my new machine. This is the type of shank that is harder to find (I paid $30 for it on ebay). So, I'd be happy to trade for some stuff, if anyone would like it.

Do you know if it fits a Kenmore/Janome?

Im headed out for day and have no idea what you might like in trade for it.

They were 2 balls, I think they were made from fiberglass, attached to a string. You'd swing them up and down so the balls would hit together and make a click clack sound. They stopped making them becuase chips were coming off the balls and getting into peoples eyes. They were made back in the 70's. I guess I just told you how old I am?
We had those things. The most dangerous toy- EVER! Heavy glass-like balls attached to string that you're supposed swing around and bange together, usually in front of your face??? :faint:

They sure were fun, and made the most pleasing click-clacky noise!

Every machine has either a slant shank, a low shank, or a high shank. Here's a diagram of the different types, so you can see which one yours has.

I don't have anything in particular in mind to trade for. So, I'm up for suggestions/offers.

Ours were purple, loved that toy!

Ours were purple, too!! So were my eyes after I bonked myself a few times (not really, but they could have been)

The good news is that JoAnn almost always has low shank rufflers in stock. They are $14.99 and then you can use your 50% or 40% off coupon on them. They don't always let you use the coupon on the ruffler feet, but I've managed to do it a few times.

I just found a yard of the navy Pirates of the Carribean flannel if anyone would like to trade??????????

My dd loves Star Wars and I can't seem to find the fabric any where but :wizard: I would love to trade if someone has any extra.

PS. I love the Disboutique board I have posted in the past but lately just have been reading. :)

I had to cut out my girls' pjs before I could make an offer, but I got that done tonight. Unfortunately, the picture quality sucks, since it's flannel-backed satin-ish fabric...

Both of these are just scraps....there's enough for about 6- 4" squares in each. There's also two 20'-ish x 3" strips of the tink/fairies, that would make ruffles for sleeves or something.

The first is Cheetah Girls...my oldest dd picked it more for the pattern than the girls, lol...

And this one is Tink/fairies....it's got a really nice "glow" to it, in addition to the fabric being satin-y.

I'd love some Minnie dots, or anything HSM, Princess etc... squares/scraps are fine.

I also have an Ariel iron-on I haven't used...it's about 3" in size....

I do have some some of the yellow, pink and green floral (and some of the stripe too) that would be fun to trade,,,,,pm me if interested....:thumbsup2

oh, and a yard of pink princess leah flannel.......

I haven't even seen any Donald Duck fabric. I looked everywhere last year. I ended up using a pillow kit and some coordinating fabric to make an outfit for Jenna. You could probably check ebay for the Donald Duck pillow panel.

Okay guys, I just had an idea...lol...I know, I know, scary, huh? Anyway, this is what I was thinking.....I want some Dr. Seuss fabric and Pottery Barn Kids has the perfect Dr. Seuss bedding, however, it is quite expensive. My "brillant" (??? haahaha) idea was to find a few people to go in on an order with me. I am not sure how many yards are in a sheet set but I thought we could share. What do you think? Any takers????
