I drug out all my quilt cutting supplies out of the garage and my kids thought it'd be nice to use my rotary cutter out on the driveway ...eh! I needed a new blade anyway. So y'alls squares from me will be super clean cuts I just need to make sure to wash and iron so you don't get a trick shrinking square.

I've decided that I'm gonna make a rag quilt with my squares. I've been thinking of trying this for a little while now, and rag quilts look pretty simple. I went yesterday and bought a pair of snips (is that what they're called? used to clip the edges). I think this is going to be fun!

HI! We're in that group together. I wouldn't mind your Buzz fabric either. I just want one of each fabric square with no duplicate fabrics.

I think I'm doing Nemo fabric for my boys' fabric. Since I never got around to making my Nemo outfit and have plenty to spare.

PM me your address. When the group is full, and I have all the addresses for the group I will send out the addresses (through PM). You can send the fabric as soon as you want, but the DEADLINE is January 1st. (Unless we want to up that so we can get the fabric sooner!!)

I only have half a dozen or so addresses. Start sending them my way. Quite a few groups are full, so we can start sending out fabric...if you want to.

I am way behind. It has been really busy in our house!!! Also, for some reason I am not getting the last post I read. It is really weird. I cannot keep track.

Anyway- Here is what I would like to do.

I would like to Disney Girls FQ, Disney, Animal Kingdom and Holiday.

I know I can do Easter, Leopard Print, and Mickey and friends.

How many FQ's do I need per person? I just want to make sure I am doing it right.

I have added a third - yes a THIRD - Disney Girl group (6X6) so there are now some more spots available in this category.

Was it ever decided how many 6X6 squares to send to each person? I suggested 2 different squares (bundle). I'm not in any of these groups - is this ok with everyone? Utahmama - what do you suggest? I've had a few questions on this and I replied that I would post the question.

Wow!! I didn't think this would get this big. How great is it going to be to get all this fabric in the mail! I should be able to get some addresses out tomorrow - I'm going to bed now, BIG headache! My whole family is sick and I think I am getting it too!! Maybe I can sleep it off.

I think it would be fun for the yardage group to have the option of sending 4 cordinating FQ's (totalling 1 yard of fabric) to each person in the group. What does everyone in those groups think about that option?

How about 2 squares? That will keep the postage still light. Maybe each of us can do what we can to send different ones, but I don't want to be a hassle to anyone. Some people may want 2 of the same?? I plan on PMing those in my group to see if they have a preference.


For those who are purchasing fabric:
A cheap option if you don't happen to have a 40% off coupon for fabric is to look at your Walmart for their little bundles of remnants. Our Walmart reduces the price 20% and there's usually something Disney in the bins.

As soon as I have my addresses (and I get a new rotary cutter) I'm sending! I'm sooo excited! The quilt will be extra special coming from alllll over the USA.

I actually have a blue fabric with a print of a classic Mickey on it. So that is something different from your camo. But, if it is not different enough I also have a Cars print on a beige background (just Mater and Lightning) and a blue Cars print (with all the characters).
