Disappointing lunch at LeCellier

It really does seem that Le Cellier has really gone downhill. I ate there Nov of 2007 and it was probably one of my top choices I had planned. The waitstaff was great, the food was delicious and all around it was a fun experience. Now I am a very picky eater so I would get the filet with mashed potatoes which is now gone We went back in early March of this year and I was so disappointed. Our waitress didn't pay any attention to our table (it was not crowded at all either) like filling up our glasses or just checking on us. Now that I remember she didn't really pay attention to any of the tables surrounding us. But the soup wasn't good at all and the entree was dissapointing. I really think as well with all the hype it gets, that it doesn't live up to what people say about it. If your looking for a good steak, California Grill is the one of the best places on property.

We ate dinner there on our first trip to WDW. It was the worst meal of our entire vacation - horribly long wait, completely incompetent staff, totally non-exciting atmosphere, and probably the worst salmon I've ever had in my life... maybe not the worst, but it certainly had the least flavor of any I've tasted. I've never had any desire to go back.

We ate there twice between 2000 and 2002. It was pretty good and the atmosphere was wonderful. I think its reputation continues although they can't measure up anymore because of adding more tables, etc, keeping up with demand.

But boy, they are still getting the mileage out of their old reputation. It's like the golden ADR to get....like lemmings if you ask me?

I have no desire to return after the things I've read in the past few years. I left with good memories, have no desire to tarnish them now.
