Anyone else a bit disappointed by the content and length of the Shamu show right now? We were at Sea World twice from Jan29-Feb10. There are renovations on at the stadium and the show is being changed with a new launch of "Believe" in May. I am sure that it will be great, but in the meantime, the show has currently been cut back.
In Feb 2005 the whale and dolphin stadium was closed during our trip and we caught the "new" show this year. It is great and has many new elements include trapeze artists and birds, however as a dolphin fanatic I noticed a lot less focus on the dolphins and their "tricks"/behaviours. Still a great show, though!

So BE WARNED!!!
And good thing you mentioned this b/c I haven't seen the dolphin show in sooo long....If you hadn't of said n-e thing then the next time I would've gone to see it....in the back of my mind I would've been thinking that part was from the Shamu show....And then BAM they would've "tricked" me Again! Well that is if they still have that part (with the trainer falling in) as part of the dolphin show!...Do they?? I really do Love that part! Also the part you mentioned...the men vs. women in the Shamu show....that was Great too! Anyhow, Thanks for clarifying! My mind is now fresh & rejuvenated!
I'll have to make a point of it to go see the newer dolphin show....it does sound neat. I'm also curious to see what they will be doing w/the new Shamu show.
