Hey Peeps

I dont know when my bridal shower is but I'm helping my mom plan it :thumbsup2 I want it to have a disney theme to it. I'm looking for a centerpiece we can use on the table that would be disney theme. any ideas..i was thinking of an edibile cookie centerpiece with mickey and minnie anyone know where i could purchase them?

any other ideas would be awesome!

what would be a cute disney favor to give out too?

I forgot to respond to you. But this company does Mickey and Minnie wedding cookie bouquets. I have had their cookies before and they are delicious. Here is their website: www.cookiesbydesign.com Hope that helps! Oh, and here is a pic:

WHAT A DAY!!!!!! i got to court this morning and ray calls me to tell me he ran out of gas. luckily he was in our neighborhood so he just walked to anna's house and she took him to the gas station. well, he got back and put the gas in and the car wouldn't start. so he sat there fiddling with it and in the meantime had called work. a co-worker got there to help him and they got it to start.....for about 2 minutes. it's now sitting in front of my house. we're waiting for chris (anna's husband) to get home from work so they can push it up our driveway. ray thinks because it's on a hill that the gas isn't getting to the fuel pump or something like that. he thinks he has trash in his gas line.

ANYWAY, we have a third car, ray's '97 volkswagon cabrio. so even if we can't get his other car fixed immediately, no worries, right. WRONG. it wouldn't start. i had to jump him off, then we went to the gas station and it died again. i jump him off again and we decide to go down the interstate so the battery can "get going" as he says. it does fine there, but when we get almost home the alarm starts going off as he's going down the road. i was following him and i couldn't help but laugh at him. he had to stop the car and of course i had to jump him off again. we ended up at auto zone where he bought a new battery.

everything was peachy keen until we get home. while we were at auto zone he bought a tail light because it was out and after he installed it he shut the trunk WITH THE KEYS IN IT. :faint: it's a convertible so there is no trunk release up front. the only way to get in the trunk is with a key. after about an hour of brainstorming, he finally had to take the back seat completely out to be able to squeeze a coat hanger in between the seat and the trunk to get the key. talk about frustrating.

so to make a long story even longer.....we now have 1 working car in our driveway, 1 working car in our garage and 1 that doesn't work sitting in front of our house. if we have to get the car towed in, i don't know what we'll do. as i said yesterday, we owe $1800 in taxes and can't afford any major repairs right now. :sad2:

needless to say, i've consumed several cookies today because that's all i had time to eat. i hope you guys had a better day than i did.

Dawn, I'm sorry about your car troubles! But I have to admit that I chuckled over Ray locking the keys in the trunk!

Oh Dawn, when it rains it pours!!

Hope tomorrow is better. And I wouldn't worry about a cookie or two, I think maybe it was deserved in this case!

Pigget, So sorry to hear about your friend.
Dawn,Yikes what a day!Hope tomorrow is a better day..

Oh no! The flu is awful this year! Feel better soon.
I hope it's not the flu. I think it's one of those annoying viral things that lasts forever.
Pray for strength and wisdom. I will stop rambling now.

Besides, I think I'm too old to ride in Cinderella's coach. :rotfl:

:flower3: Sounds like a fun morning. Hopefully it's nothing really wrong with the car. Did you check the starter?:drive:

I haven't been the peepiest with my excerise. But, I have been eating ok.

Happy Birthday Danielle!!!

We can keep it flexible for now... I will find the right moment to slip it in. :)

Works for me!

My friends got married this past June and for their shower we made Chocolate ( white, dark and milk) castle lollipops! They were super cute and for a centerpiece you can always get a foam something and stick them in to make an edible centerpiece full of Cinderellas Castle.
We also had candy bar wrappers made that said " happily ever after" with the castle motife on them..it was so cute. [/B][/COLOR]

I forgot to mention before that we did white and milk chocolate castle suckers for our wedding favors, and they turned out great! :thumbsup2

WOW! What a day, indeed! I may have some words of comfort for you though. I actually ran out of gas twice back in the day, and at least one of those times, it didn't start after we added gas to the tank, and they had to add gas right to the engine, I think it was. So that very well might be your problem, and I hope it is that simple. Let us know how it turns out. And I hope tomorrow is much better!

Well I had a good day but a bad peep day. I went to see my oncologist and I got a clean slate for another 3 months. He's ordered one more test but says that everything looks good except for bone density which is "okay". Heck I'll take okay these days.

So to celebrate, DH and I went out for dinner. Not just any dinner. Mexican food. And not just any Mexican food. Flautas. And a big fat margarita.

But I did get to the gym and workout before the doctor appt. I'm sure that offset the first 3 swallows of the margarita anyway.

Dawn, I do hope tomorrow is a better day for you. At least you got one car running. :rotfl:

Well tomorrow has to be better 'cause it doesn't sound like it could get much worse. It has to go UP from here. (I want my smilies back to their original spots:upsidedow )

You are so welcome! Sorry I was so late responding. They really are good cookies! Glad you have a store nearby too. :thumbsup2

Congrats on the good DR report! :thumbsup2 You SOOOO deserve a margarita after that good news. ::yes::

Well, I survived the hour and a half softball practice tonight. It wasn't too cold, so it wasn't that bad. A mom and I decided to walk around the parking lot (instead of freezing our butts on the cold metal bleachers). We did the loop three times. Well I drove it in my car after practice. It was a mile! Plus we walked on the sidewalk in between the fields, so I think we walked 3.5 - 4 miles tonight. :cool1: :woohoo:

Dawn, I'm sorry about your car troubles! But I have to admit that I chuckled over Ray locking the keys in the trunk!

i wanted to laugh but i couldn't with the way he looked at me when he did it! when he finally got the seat out i asked if he wanted me to reach in between because my arm was smaller and he just looked at me. he was NOT in a good mood......that was a big homer simpson "doh!" moment for him!

Did you check the starter?:drive:

:confused3 who knows! ray knows quite a bit about cars. he and his grandfather used to take them apart and put them back together again. so i tend not to suggest things to him when it comes to stuff like that!

WOW! What a day, indeed! I may have some words of comfort for you though. i mentioned this to ray. he seemed to agree with you that that's maybe what it needs. the only problem is in order to do that we have to get it towed somewhere and we are BROKE. we'll see what tomorrow brings!

yay!!!!!! :cool1: that's GREAT news! i'm so happy for you. i prolly would've had a couple of those big fat margaritas! (ohh....that sounds so good right now!)

We did the loop three times. Well I drove it in my car after practice. It was a mile! Plus we walked on the sidewalk in between the fields, so I think we walked 3.5 - 4 miles tonight. :cool1: :woohoo:

:thumbsup2 way to go!

well, we got the car in the driveway. you shoulda seen me trying to steer it without power steering BACKWARDS while ray and chris pushed it....hilarious! :rotfl2: we're gonna let it sit there all day tomorrow and see what happens tomorrow afternoon. don't ask me why......ray's in control on this one.

i'm still sick. :sad2: and it's getting worse....i think from stress. anyway, i just sat down on the couch with a big coffee mug full of hot water and one of those zicam medicated spoons. so i'll be in la-la land in about half an hour! ::yes:: but that's what i need....i haven't been sleeping well lately.

heather - i hope today went as well as can be expected. i've been thinking about you.

tomorrow is my grandpa's 80th birthday.....i'm so proud! :goodvibes especially since he just got out of the hospital - i didn't want him to spend his birthday in the hospital! he was in there for some tests because he's been having some weird breathing spells. anyway, he's at home now and i can't wait to call him and tell him happy birthday tomorrow!

have a good tuesday, everyone! :p (<---- i think that medicine is already kicking in! i shouldn't be so chipper with the day i've had!)

Oh geez! Well, I don't know if anyone remembers me since I haven't been around since before Christmas! We went to WDW mid-December, then came Christmas, New Years, blah blah blah...
Excuses, excuses, right? Life just got crazy busy!
Anyway...I'm back...but man! I was about to freak out not being able to find y'all at first! And now we're onto Vol. 2 and I'm already 80-something pages behind!:faint:
Anyway...want to join back in...if you'll have me again! I seriously need to get my rear in gear and get back to losing weight!
I was doing so great...then came the Dining Plan and the holidays! LOL!
I'm going to bed now, but in the morning, I guess I'll have plenty of catching up to do!

Have we heard anything about the new little peeplet yet? Has Dance checked in?

I have a dr.'s apt today. They are making me come back after my annual. They are doing a more thorough exame. I'm having on of those oscopy's can't remember which one, but a snip here, and a snip there and I'm all freaked out.

Dawn: Sorry about your crazy car trouble day.

Danielle: I hope you have a great birthday.

Born2bird: All 4 of you! That totally stinks. Get better.

Pakey: Great news.

Lexy: Do you play trivia everyday? Weekly? I need to copy that link.

Hi Lynda! We need to start working on the Cedar Point Meet. Seriously. Let's start thinking of a date.

Hi all,

Dawn - That sounds like one crazy day!

Heather - So sorry about your friend.
