DISappearing PEEPS Volume 2

Morning peeps. I just wanted to tell you that I got my test results yesterday and it's negative for cancer. I want to thank all of you for being so great with the pixie dust. I believe it makes a huge difference and even if it really doesn't, it sure made me feel better and that counts too!!!!

I still have the lump though so I'll be seeing my regular oncologist (I have several oncologists) in 2 weeks so that he can check it out. I had lymph nodes removed during my surgery last year and someone mentioned that it might be some swelling from that. I have to wear compression sleeve/glove when I go above 4000 ft elevation and I did notice the lump after I flew to Orlando. Maybe I didn't have the sleeve on right? I'm just self diagnosing here.

Anyway, thanks to all of you. I feel better about life today. Still not thinner but feeling better.

My DF called me this morning at 7:00 AM. My DF never calls me at 7:00 AM. I don't know what to make of this. I posted last week that he was in the hospital getting tests done, so maybe he got the results back?

I of course missed the 7:00 AM call, and the 10:00 AM call, since I didn't wake up until 11:00. (I work late, I just don't sleep that late because I'm lazy.) I tried to call him back when I saw I had two missed calls from him, but now his phone is off.

yiikes..i worry when people call at weird times too..i hope its just good news!

OH just a friendly reminder for those of you like me that are in SUPER TUESDAY states..go vote !!!!!

Ok peeps, I went to WW today. I will save my number for friday but it's not good. I had a hard time yesterday and with my water this week. My rings felt a little tight this morning so I knew it was a gain. DD2 has been sick so I can't go to the gym with her either. She's still kind of yucky in the nose department so I still can't go. I'm drinking my water with Crystal Light as I type. That is my goal for this week. Drink all of my water.

I meant to post that DH and I were able to walk the dogs last night. It was 62 degrees! It was nice, and they needed it. Of course, so did we! Well, I'm a geek and took my handheld Garmin so I would know how far we walked and the time. Well, we walked 1.65 miles in 31 minutes! That made a total of 3.72 miles and 63.50 minutes for yesterday!

Monica - I hope you feel better soon! I'm keeping all my exercise info in a nice Excel Spreadsheet, so I can give you the totals when your back on your feet.

I've only seen you post your numbers, so thanks. I thought more were walking or using the treadmill for their exercise. I think I'm gonna put this on hold until I am better and can participate.

i voted! but honestly the main reason i voted is because our county is also having an election to legalize the pouring of liquor at restaurants on sundays. and sometimes a girl's gotta have some liquor on sundays!!!

HEY whatever gets you to the booth!! I would have voted for that too! Luckily here in MA we can buy it on Sundays or get it poured for us..its pretty sweet...esp. after the superbowl this year..we NEEDED it lol!

Gina - Thanks for the reminder. I almost forgot to go vote! Although the whole delegate thing through me for a loop. I thought we were just voting for a presidential candidate. Guess I should watch the news more often.

Ok Peeps, I have to confess. DH took me and the kids out to dinner tonight at PF Changs. I was not Peep like at all! Although, I did try to eat a smaller portion. We got an appetizer, and two dishes and split it among the four of us. Now remember "little bit" (my daughter) doesn't eat much. I actually think that I would qualify for the "redneck mama of the year". I took her a jelly sandwich in a brown paper sack. She did actually eat a little of the appetizer, and some of the shrimp. Anyway, it was soooooo good. I did exercise for 50 minutes today and did 3.5 miles, so maybe it won't be that bad.

Ok, my son is upstairs playing XBOX live and I just heard him scream, "Hey I'm dead, oh now I'm alive again". It's just funny hearing it on this side.

When DS31 was a kid, he wouldn't eat much of anything and we always packed him something when went out. Your post reminded me of that. One time we were at Burger King and he ordered a hamburger with nothing on it. When we sat down and he unwrapped it, they had given him just a bun. He was maybe 10 at the time and we all laughed so hard that we made fools of ourselves.

And Chinese Food sounds so good. I bet I haven't tasted any in over a year. I hope it was great and that you really enjoyed it.

i have been AWFUL this week so far. NO exercise. nada. i'm exhaused from working this weekend and i've been in court until 6:00 both monday and tuesday. anyway, i'm not expecting pretty numbers on friday because of it. we'll see though!

by the way, the defendant in my case today was supposed to show up for a jury trial at 9:00. well, he got there, then he left! THEN he came back a few hours later and had taken 20 lortabs!!!!! they had to call the EMTs and i'm sure he had his stomach pumped this afternoon. needless to say it was a mistrial. and a very odd experience!

i just love your attitude! we can't buy it on sundays here.....but they do want to start pouring it on sundays at restaurants. most places in georgia already allow that, but not my little po-dunk backwoods county! i'm def. in the bible belt!

i used to be the same way. i would have never ate PF chang's food when i was a kid! now i LOVE stuff like that. she'll grow out of it. i remember i used to hate going to mcdonald's because i wanted my hamburger plain (with NOTHING on it.....not even cheese!) and my dad would make me order chicken mcnuggets because he said it takes them too long to make a plain hamburger. and this is back when their mcnuggets were even more gross than they are now.....all fatty and just....blah!

I'm still walking at work at lunch and last night I walked an extra thirty minutes on the treadmill. Tonight I only walked an extra fifteen, but it was leg night. I was kind of proud of doing any extra. Keep walking everybody!

Good morning!
So today is destined to be NUTSO for me i think..first we have 3 closings going today at my mortgage company and of course last minute stuff is going on with that, its raining, i have school AND i had less than great sleep last night due to Chief, the infamous black lab, waking me up with tummy trouble 5 times..and of course Greg worked so he was at the station last night...can you say " SPAZ"? lol..oh well...i am sure i will survive! I had some oatmeal and i am sipping on the BEST ice coffee ever so that helps!
OH DAWN>>>>>i totally thought of you yesterday, i had jury duty and the court reporter was talking into the "mask" like you use and i couldn't help think.." how does dawn wear that thing all day!??? it looks so stuffy and itchy! i give you much props for being able to do what you do! I would feel like darth vadar for sure! OH sidenote..i was almost empaneled on the jury but i happened to know one of the witnesses! Needless to say i was thrilled since it was going to be a week long trial..
