Monica - DD and I ate at Cape May for breakfast in Jan. It was your usual b'fast buffet. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, mickey waffles, biscuits, croissants, etc. We paid OOP due to the fact that we split most meals. Just didn't make sense for us. Sandy and her DH ate there at Dinner, so you could get more clarification from her on that menu. Hope this helped.

I just wasted an hour of my time looking at the Rest. boards for anything on Cape May.

Has anyone eaten there?

Any comments.

It reads on the dining planning section, American buffet and clam bake. What does that entail. I need details.

here's info about the character breakfast: http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_cm.htm

oh, and you were talking about taking water/snacks/etc. with you (through garden grocer). just wanted to mention to you that ray and i took a case of water with us last time and we'd put about 4 bottles in the fridge every night. then in the morning we'd fill our camel pack up (a pouch that goes in our bookbag for water which has a straw that sticks out) with the cold water and it would stay cold all day long. we NEVER had to buy water while we were there. the only part that would get hot would be the water that was in the straw, so you just had to get that part out and then you'd be all good. we got a camel pack for like $25 and we're definitely doing that again this year!

well, i had my first saturday night at longhorn and i walked with $90, although i had to tip out $25 (for the food runner, bartender & server assistant) so really i would've made $115. AND i got home at 11:00. i'm relatively happy with that. although i was kinda scared when the guy at my first table looks at me and goes, "you can get tips, right?" um.....yeah. then he proceeds to hand me a whole five dollars when i knew his bill was gonna be at least $70. gee, thanks. but the rest of the night got better.

We've eaten there twice. First time - because DH locked us out of our room on the first night of our honeymoon at BC. :rotfl: It's good! They've got mussels and clams, peel & eat shrimp, I think there was salad, mac & cheese, kids section of course, I think there were rolls, I believe there were other meats, but I can't remember for sure. I'm sure Dawn's links can help you more, but we did enjoy it. It's just been a while since we've been there for dinner. We did the breakfast there on our last trip, and it was good too. :thumbsup2

The weather is very bad here. Trying to decide if I should get get the family up. My mom called about 20 minutes ago--she has a weather radio thing and we are under a Tornado warning so I am listening. The wind and rain have really started to pick up. I hate this weather being dark still does not help.

When Mal was 10 months old on her first trip to WDW, we took her all over and did a table service each day. Just at the Aloha dinner show she had to be held, no high chair. :sad2: She was a great baby, and then when she was 2 we went again, she still was a great toddler. Never gave us any trouble. You just have to "know" your kid. I'm sure you do.

We took Jpshua at 8, 14, and 18 months and he was fine. Now we really do not like taking him out. He is very active and likes to have things his way. Just not sure how to handle it. We do not want to subject others to that. We may try a couple of character meals.\\

Joshua just woke and is scared so I need to go,

So I was very un-peep like last night! 2 many drinks!!!

My fiance and I went out to dinner at this Japanese restaurant last night in Manhattan last night called Ninja!..I thought we were just going to a random sushi place in Tribeca last night, but when we walked in it was not what I expected. The hostess checks you in and then puts you in an elevator. While the elevator is going down the lights started to dim so I started to panic cuz I thought we were going to get stuck in there....we walk out of the elevator I took two steps into a dark hallway and out of nowhere some ninja jumps out at me and yells "HIIIII ....YA!!!!!!! scared the daylights out of me! :scared1: Then the ninja welcomes you to the restaurant and asks you to follow him. As you are following him the he runs and disappears!!!!!..... Then you are in this dark tunnel twisting and turning and cant see anything..the next thing I know someone is touching my head from above and then jumps in front of me and yells..."HI.....YAAAA!!!" at this point I had enough and just wanted to go home!!! lol!!! My fiance knew the gimmick to this restaurant and totally got me!!! Then they bring you to your own little private booth and serve you dinner... I had to have two mojitas to calm my nerves. But then the restaurants was alot of fun...the food was surpsingly good and the do ninja magic tricks in front of you. Reminded me of a disney restaurant...its a total gimmick but alot of fun!!!!!

anyway I could have eaten better but today is another day!

So nothing new with me, DF is still exhausted all the time, but he still works, except he's still not counting it as work since he's just doing "errands." :rolleyes1

:lmao: OMG! That's hilarious! I want to take someone there! I guess I'd have to get to NYC first though. I have a friend who would totally flip out...in a really funny way. Glad you ended up having fun there.

How was the food at breakfast? I'm planning on this one for my next trip.

Also, that site, I told my DF about it, and I think he may have gone there to defend me, since it seems they think some other poster is me. :confused3 Apparently our IP is the same, so that's why I think it's him, same location, and same provider. I think he has the same provider as me, I'm not sure though. He always said he'd say something to them.

You are misinformed about an IP address.

"In addition to the network address or number, information is needed about which specific machine or host in a network is sending or receiving a message. So the IP address needs both the unique network number and a host number (which is unique within the network). (The host number is sometimes called a local or machine address.)"

I have been thinking about joining, so I have been skimming this thread for a while. Put me down for 5 lbs by Easter.

Well, it still could have been him, since I was showing him the site yesterday when he was over at my house.

Yesterday I had a horrible day diet-wise. I had cereal for breakfast and pasta for lunch. I was good at work, and just had a yogurt and water, but of course when I got home I was hungry, so I had a roast beef sandwich while I watched re-runs of Desperate Housewives.

I am so glad the writer's strike is over. I am so ready for new episodes of "my" shows, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. Especially Housewives, since I really want to know what the note said.

The only thing holding me over right now is Lost, which still has five new episodes, and then it will be back with five more before the end of the season, so that means I have ten episodes to look foward to total. And I am really looking foward to Thursday night's episode, which is about, (highlight to read, it's a mini-spoiler, so be warned, noting too revealing though,) what happens to Kate when she gets off the island, as well as Kate's and Sawyer's on island relationship. I don't know how many of you watch Lost, but I find the show fascinating.

I am curious however about when they're going to air it, since it took Grey's spot, and with that coming back the same time as Lost's last five episodes of the season, one of them will have to air at a different time.

That would be true for anybody using the same machine (host). That would be true for anybody who used that computer. Your post I quoted said he has the same carrier and not that he used the computer in your parent's bedroom. I know that you also claim your parent's make racial comments at him and do not allow him in their home.

I love this show. When is the next new episode going to air?

They've made rude comments about him, and have said many times, in many different ways that they don't care for him, but they've never actually "banned" him from the house. It wouldn't of been the first time he's been on the computer, though he's never used it when my parents were around.

They need time to write and film new episodes, but I've read in two places, that it will be returning in April, and there will be four or five new episodes.

Last night I was rewatching season three's premiere, (I have all the seasons on DVD,) of when Bree and Orson get engaged. Season three was so much better then season two IMO, and season four is great so far, especially the last episode.

Do yourself a favor and lose the link to that place and stop showing others it too. Really if I was being made fun of someplace I would not got there and keep reading. It is just like if a person you know makes dumb comments to others about you. No amount of arguing with them will stop it. It will most likely make it escalate. The only thing you can control is how you react to what they do. Stop reacting and you will become old news and they will stop reading your posts and commenting on them.

Darn two more months.

this sounds like so much fun! have you head of "ask a ninja"? kinda dumb but still funny: http://askaninja.com/

i wish they had that sorta restaurant in nashville.....my little brother would be PERFECT for something like that! he's worked in a haunted house for the last 6 years and he is soooooo hilarious! most of the time he's actually in the haunted house, but sometimes they have him standing out front and scaring people in the line. he's 6'5" and he's really skinny, so he's just really creepy-looking with all that makeup on and his hair all crazy! anyway, i think he'd be an AWESOME ninja! check him out at the haunted house.......

Punkin - Those pictures give me the creeps, (I'm not good with blood, even with "fake" blood,) so your nepthew would probably be good at it, LOL.

I know I should. As you've been lurking you've probably realize that I've been being upset by them for a few weeks now. I think it has escalated since I've posted, and they just think I lie anyway, so I really don't know why I even bother. I probably wouldn't have even posted there today, but I saw that they were saying that other poster was me, and I just wanted them to know it wasn't which is how that whole IP thing started. So I probably really shouldn't of showed the link to DF, since I'm pretty sure it was him, though I know he would of just done that to defend me and try and be all noble.
Read the bold in your post again and repeat it to yourself until you take it to heart.

I'd really like to know how they all know my real name over there, but I'm not going to bother to ask them. My best guess is that they read it off the picture of my cake I posted a few days ago.
They might have guessed it was your name but now you told them it is your first name.
