What's it gonna be?

I want to say mines gonna be running again. I just have to fit it in.

I want to do an experiment. So, can you start posting in big numbers how many miles you do what ever you do, walk/run/bike/.

I wanna keep a tally of our miles. Starting tomorrow. Feb 1st.

Another reason to buy a pedometer. I was going to buy one anyway for my next trip to Disney, so I could see how much I walk a day there, but I'll have to go and get one now. :goodvibes

That's great! I've joined a competition (along with Sandy) over on the Events/Competition thread, and that is what we are doing. We will compete for a year, and the team that does the most miles, and minutes, will win a prize. It will be given out next year during Marathon weekend. Our week starts tomorrow, so I will be able to post in both places. :thumbsup2

Punkin - You need to get you some butterfly band aids. They are like what they use in hospitals. That way it could hold the skin together for it to heal properly. I may have to find out which Longhorn you are working at. I may be coming over for Spring Break, and would love to see you, and enjoy a good meal! I love Longhorn! Oh, and we just got a PF Changs! I am in sooooo much trouble! :rolleyes1

Just wanted to check in and say hey!

As of sunday, I'm off Atkins, I am doing something kinda resembling south Beach. I am trying to keep my calories down, and I am not eating any sugar, flour, rice, potatoes...most white things, actually.

BUT today I went to panera bread! I had a bowl of chicken & wild rice soup and half a ham and swiss on rye (plain). Feeling like a big cheater! :guilty: Well, I will make sure I eat only healthy stuff the rest of the day, and make sure I stay true blue tomorrow.

But, on the good side, I have lost 20 pounds since Christmas! :dance3:

YAY! I'm IN. I have to take it easy because of my cough. But I'm totally doing it!

What is a good Tread Mill total for a day to start? I have no idea what to shoot for.

LOVE THE PIC!!! They are to cute. How is your DD feeling--hope she is doing better. I hate the steroids--makes my Joshua more like Jack Jack for Incredibles.

I took her to the pedi again today because I thought she might have an ear infection, nope. She's got the same "virus" as Sunday just the croup cough is gone and now it's kind of a wet cough. Of course all she wants is momma too.

DisneyLaura- You have to move down south so he can be a cowboy. :)

I wish I could. DD is sick so I can't bring her to the gym this week. But as soon as she gets ready I'll start if you keep going.

1 - Punkin I think on the old thread you posted something about calculating the amount of water you should drink versus your weight, it's on the old thread do you remember what it was? Thanks

2 - Allie I think you said you did the couch to 5K, can you PM me what that entails. I want to start next week as long as DD gets better.

I know I went over 1,800 today. I tried to be good, I really did, and I didn't even really snack, but somehow I still managed to go over.

Today I ate; skipped breakfast, (there's mistake #1 right there,) had a Lean Pocket and some peach slices at lunch, followed by some chips and salsa. Dinner was a completely unnutritious meal, but it was so good! Scalloped potatoes with cheese and cream sauce, (the recipe is from Ohana, so if you've eaten there, you know how good those potatoes are,) and a small cheese quesadilla. So quite a bit of startch and dairy in my dinner, and no fruits or vegetables. (Except the potatoes did have some onions in it, I don't count that as a vegetable though.) I also had a doughnut at some point during the day, so there was some calories there.

Tomorrow I'll try to get back on track. I think as long as I don't eat like this more then once a week, I should be able to lose weight.
 
Well, I left ya'll on page 8- so I'm just jumpin back in.

I have been running "sick bay" the past few days.

AAAACK! Too much cheese today!

I got the grand idea to make little flat bread pizzas. On that low carb flatbread stuff. I was hungry while making them so I may have put a little too much cheese on it. It's sitting in a greazy wad in my stomach.

Which should come in handy for tomorrow. :headache:


Monica- all your kids are CUTE! Zach is thinning out, you're right!

Heyyyy, Norah's hair is all staticky today too.

We are hunkering down for a wicked storm tonight.
 
DisneyLaura I live in the middle of nowhere VA. But, I'm about 30-45 minutes from Williamsburg.

Today has been a pretty good day. Breakfast: Lemon Muffin Lunch: Very small amount of pasta bake, two slices of garlic bread, and some peaches Snack: Some baked Lays Dinner: cearal and yogurt. It's no salad but it isn't that bad. I hope. :rotfl: I rode my 5.05 miles again tonight. :goodvibes

OK peeps...I have zero appetite today. I know, there are worse things that could be happening but I feel like I am not doing my baby any favors by not eating, and yet nothing sounds good to me :confused3 SO weird for me. I had milk for breakfast and then felt sick. Had a decentish lunch but have not even wanted as much as a snack since and it is 8:00 here. I need to force something in myself I guess. Never thought I would have to force myself to eat!
 
my feet hurt. i've been walking since 10:30 this morning! i got an hour break and i got off at 9:00. but i knocked two training shifts outta the way! it was easy, peezy, but my feet are tired. i've just gotta get used to being on them for long periods of time again. i asked my trainer if he ever wore a pedometer and he said he used to. one day he walked 8 miles in one shift! :scared1:

funny story - one server at lunch got all excited because she thought she had a secret shopper (someone who comes in and grades you on your performance) because she had a notebook and a thing with a list of food on it. so she was really milking the table and everything. then she finds out later that the lady was just on WW and those were her notes or whatever to keep up with her points. :rotfl:

mony - love the pics of the kiddos.....so cute!

the cut's healing nicely. i didn't even notice it today at all. so i hope i'm good!

i work at the longhorn in commerce. it's quite a ways from atlanta. HOWEVER its' VERY close to the tanger outlet malls and right on I-85 north (exit 149, i think). so if you wanna do some shopping you should come up there! i'll only be working on the weekends once my training's done. if you are heading this way let me know and i'll give you my cell number!

I have this horrible chest cold that came on last night. I will not be on the tread mill for a few days. This is a doozy.

I still want to track the miles, so please don't let this influence you in any way. Trust me, I will be back on it. I am determined to run a 5K this year.

Today 172.6, last week 173.8 so down 1.2 for a total of 3.4.

birthday: March 12

Still running "sick bay". Had to take DS to the afterhours last night. Got 2 shots maybe we will turn the corner today.

Wow, what a frustrating week! I exercised every day, didn't cheat once, counted my points religiously, drank plenty of water, and only managed to muster a 0.8 lb loss. Not sure what happened, but hopefully I'm just setting myself up for a big number next week. Anyway, this tiny loss brings me to my lowest adult weight of 172.8 lbs; I have lost a grand total of 43.2 pounds since January 2007, and an uber-grand total of 67.2 pounds since mid-2005. I am now 2.8 pounds from my Valentines Day goal of 170, and 17.8 pounds from my ultimate goal of 155. (Although, I'm starting to think that 155 might not be quite right for me. I might still be a little heavy at that weight, so I could be adjusting that to 145. But we'll see how I feel when I eventually reach 155.)
