GOOD MORNING, PEEPS!
Thanks for all the nice (unexpected!) comments about my 80's hair! You are all so sweet.
if not, i won't be sad if i dont' go to weigh in...
If you do the crime, you gotta do the time!

Gina, everybody is allowed to cheat on their birthday week. I think it's in the rule book!? Anyway, hope weigh in went better than you thought!
don't worry.......i'm definitely not going for the bobble head look a la nichole richie or kiera knightly......gross!
Oh. I thought I quoted the part about Brooke. I hope she's able to sort out his actions/her feelings and make the right decision about Jon. He doesn't live in Nashville does he?
only gained 1.8 pounds. Must have been all that walking and sweating I was doing.
Welcome back, Robin! 1.8 is awesome! Very low! Glad you had fun. Did my advice help at all?
His moral to the story -- tats may look great for a while, but that's not worth having to wear long sleeves when you get older.
10 or so years ago, I was in the bathroom at a restaurant and several college girls were in there...one pulled her pants down to show the other girls the new tattoo she got on spring break. It was a rose on her lower abdomen. She got it so that it would be under her bathing suit. I told her that the first time she got pregnant, it would be the size of a small pizza. You should've seen the look on her face.

"I never thought of that" she said.
He has cried so much in the past couple of days that I regret having the surgery done.
Oh, Fran! Is he better now? Hopefully the good will outweigh the bad in the long run.
In junior high (yes, it was junior high instead of middle school), I had the Dorothy Hamil haircut.
Me too! In 8th grade...circa 1975. I had it cut to match a Frost n' Tip ad that I cut out!
Not to mention she turned my light red hair to "tahitian cherry" ..........
Tahitian Cherie!

I love the pictures! I could send some much more incriminating ones of me if I had a scanner.
that's my little brother hugging my neck....i think he was about 3.
I love that picture! My girls are almost 11 and 7 years older than my son. My oldest DD has always been his "other mother" and this picture reminds me of them.
Here's a couple I posted before. The first one's my sophomore year.
You are adorable! Love the bangs!
In high school, they actually took my mustang away because I didn't lose a lb. a week.

Oh, Dene...I'm so sorry! I thought you looked fabulous! What do your parents have to say about you now!
Since I graduated in 2001, I still have clothes I wore in high school let alone be ready to say how bad the style was, lol...
Hilarious! I love the couple with the Hamma pants! And it's official. I AM old enough to be your mom. Now sit down and eat your vegetables!
Yes! You are nuts. I very slooowly worked my way through school waiting tables so I can relate. Enjoy your weekends. You've earned them. And...don't you have to type a lot on the weekends?
OK...I found a picture, scanned it, uploaded it and here it is....
Gayle you look mahvalous! At least your hair's not too high! BTW...I've been meaning to ask...is that you and DH in your siggie?
Hope that helps Dene and others... I am about 5'7-5'8, for reference, and very much an apple shape.
No...you're not an apple. You have nice curves! I am an H.....no curves at all and every extra ounce wraps itself right around my waist. I have GREAT apple potential.
I've also noticed signs of age that I never noticed before (because, as my daughter says I had extra padding that hid the wrinkles).
My brain hasn't processed the changes either. Sometimes I look in the mirror and go

...who is that? Anyway, I start to look a lot older when I get too thin. I think your DD is right about that. And you know, I think men our age look old too. Occasionally I'll see one that looks good but then I always see a 22 year old on his arm.

(What do they talk about?) Anyway, I think when you see someone you knew as "young" they don't tend to look so old. i.e. someone at your class reunion?
EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
