Me and DH (before we were married) at my brother's wedding. I'll put this one around 1987. I think his hair might be a little worse than mine.![]()

i honestly think it's worse to be involved in something like this than in drugs or stealing or something. it's just cruel. i don't get how people can be so heartless. i know nothing's been proven yet, but if what they're saying is true, i hope he rots in jail.![]()
jen - love your pics, especially the skorts! i had some of those....sadly, i too thought i was fat when i was in high school. for example, look at that senior pic i posted above......i actually complained because i thought i looked fat in those jeans! what i would do for that body now!!!
so silly!!!!
I had more of a 40's & 50's bod (Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Jane Mansfield, Rita Hayworth), but it was the 70's & 80's when models had lost most of their curves. I actually had a flatter stomach than the "skinny girls". I felt fat because I was told I was fat... by my parents. In high school, they actually took my mustang away because I didn't lose a lb. a week. They taught me to yo-yo and crash diet quite well... they'd offer me money to lose weight or my dad would make a bet with me to see who could lose the most weight. I'd crash diet at the last minute and "win".

Hi Peeps!
What a long day. I've been at the clinic since 10 trying to catch up on work and then I had class from 5:30-8. I'm finally home and ready to do more work.
Quick Question: On cell phones, if the other person cannot receive or send text messages, would it still go through as sent on my phone? Or would it be unable to send? Does that make sense? I'm just curious because I sent a text to someone and I have no idea if they have that capability (although it seems most do these days). Any answers are appreciated!

Well, most phones that are at least 5 yrs old or newer can get them, but it doesnt mean he knows how to read and/or respond to them. (just assuming it was a HE!) I get them adn am too cheap to pay to respond or read them tooHi Peeps!

See, the only flaw in your plan is the not counting on the money part. I find the more we make the more we get used to spending. You may very well get used to the extra cash and stay at the second job longer than was the original plan, even if you hate it, because you come to count on the cash......just playing devils advocateDH and i just had a conversation about getting second jobs on the weekends, like at a restaurant on friday and saturday nights. he wants the extra money for "toys" and i want it for christmas shopping and disney money. we worked in restaurants for the first 7 years of our relationship while i was slowly making my way through school and we both said we'd never do it again. are we nuts??????? DH says it won't be bad because it's not like we depend on it for income....it would just be extra money. so the minute we get sick of it we could quit. i don't know....![]()
OK...I found a picture, scanned it, uploaded it and here it is....

This is before heading out to the bar with a friend. I was about 18 or 19.
Can I be this "fat" again????

Hope that helps Dene and others... I am about 5'7-5'8, for reference, and very much an apple shape.
Sorry you had to cancel the trip Bee, but don't worry other opportunities will come up! It's good to hear from you. You know we're here for you and we know you're going through alot right no, so keep checkin in so we can help ya through it all! OF course we forgive you for hoarding the recipe books!![]()
![]()
You're not alone and all hoarders are forgiven...stuff happens!!!Love ya!
OMG the memories those pics bring up! Ew... ew... ew. I remember those ear things-- so not my style, but I had friends... Did have a pair of the huge leg jeans -- god we thought we were cool.
![]()
This goes back a few more years -- anybody have a pic of themselves in "rolled" jeans (or was that just a mid-atlantic thing)? I refuse to incriminate myself...
Hey, how'd you get a picture of me??????
I'll say! Thanks for starting the bad hair photos. I am really enjoying them!

Great pics! We are about the same height and weight right now, so I love being able to look at these and say "thats what I would probably look like" thanks for the upload!
glad it wasn't too badAfternoon Peeps!
Welcome Jennifer/PilotWife!!!!![]()
I survived the dentist.
Punkin's right - red bow and she's perfect. She's already perfectly adorable!so cute! she even sort of has snow white's hairstyle! now all you need is a little red bow.
That's what I was going to say, Dawn. You can really see a difference! Way to go!har har- you and dene are funny girls both- always posting headshots...ahem can you not see the difference in your neck and collarbone and cheekbones?!
Know this feeling so well - glad you're better. No more dozen cookies (said very kindly - I promise!) They'll only make you feel worse.I aknowledged that I feel like the toilet seat of humanity. I just ate a dozen cookies and the other 5 dozen are calling my name. I won't bore you further with all of the reasons I feel this way, because they're probably very lame compared to others. But the show must go on. In a minute I'll post a picture of something that made me smile today!
Anyway.... hi...... bye later folks.Bee
GLad to "see" you, Bee. I know it's hard to be alone. I'm so sad about how you feel, but you will have some good times again. Don't give up on Disney - or us!Thank you... I do always feel loved here.
Know that I love and miss you all... Just have seperated myself from some Disney things... Now that I dont see a future at Disney... just another loss in my life.
Love to my peeps!!!
Bee
Wow! Wow! Wow! I can't help being inspired by you! Keep up the great work!I can tell you that I found some old measurements from March 2005... I was probably 40ish lbs below my Christmas max so the inches off are actually probably greater. But as of 7/14 I've lost the following inches:
bust -4.5
waist -7
abdomen -10.5
butt -8.25
left thigh -3.5
right thigh -4.5 (right was and still is slightly larger)
neck -2.25
So, when someone said they could see the difference in my neck, they really could. Don't know what my wrists were, but my Mickey Watch went from the 2nd notch to the 5th.
Hey Everybody!!!
Anyway- glad to be home.
Just a good reminder of why you're working so hard!OK, I need to make a confession!
Edited to add: I did some GUESS-timating, and if I have a VERY small dinner, I might only end up doing about 600 calories worth of damage. I can be careful the next couple of days and make that up, so I guess it isn't totally ridiculous. I did, however, have more sugar than I'm used to, and I am wishing I hadn't done that because I am fearing that may do some damage on weigh in day. I guess we'll see. I think I will work out tonight too. Wasn't planning on it, but I know I'll feel better if I do.
Love seeing everyone's pics! Ok we've got to be close to the same age!I love the stroll down bad clothing choice lane! I don't think I have any pictures on my computer of jr. high or high school, but I did big hair very well! I still remember blowing out the sides of my hair and spranging it so I almost had wings. And I totally did the rolled up jeans along with jeans so thight at the ankle they had to have a zipper and a little bow at the ankle. Oh and stretch pants with stirups! Should we play guess what decade winkers grew up in????
I had a feeling that was naturally curly hair! Me too! I fought with it for years, and now I've surrendered. I have no control anyway! So cute Lynda! What's sad is that while everyone else was doing the spiral perm I was wishing my hair was strait!

since we're sharing old pics, this is one of my favorites. i have it framed in my office. that's my little brother hugging my neck....i think he was about 3. he had crawled into bed with me and this is how my dad found us that morning both sound asleep.....![]()

Dawn I love the picture of you with your little brother! So cute. I have a brother and sister 10 & 9 years younger than me and we have a different bond than I do with my older siblings.

My sister, My dad and Me at Hershey Park circa 1987-88...now we are in our Hershey park tees but I would like to direct your attention to the couple above my sister (in the red shirt) on the left... they are wearing awful MC Hammer pants and are totally synchronized and matching! lol!
