Me and Spongie just went to go see POC III. It was spectacular!!!! Truly Great! Jack Sparrow is crazy and HOT. Will is totally hot too. I just can't seem to choose What a quandry! (DON'T ask me if I ate popcorn at the movie cuz I'll totally LIE and say NO!)

Stacey- never been on a cruise but I'd love to do the Disney one someday!

Dance- I'm glad you said that about the noises made while other people eat. I fixate on them and let it make me crazy!!!! Like pudding or yogurt, DONT eat that around me! I don't even care if I make noise, I'm soooo hypocritical!

I loved POC3! I pick Orlando! Johnny has too many tattoos! My DD(15) thought Johnny was a hotty until I explained that Johnny is the same age as DH and I! That totally grossed her out!

I totally hate the way people eat too. Can't be slurpy, mushy or crunchy with me! mY dd(11) is the same way and it drives the rest of our family crazy!

Oh and cell phone thing someone spoke of earlier. UGH! We were at a nice restaurant tonight and a cell phone rings at the table next to us. THe woman picks it up and puts it on speaker!!!!! It was the couple's kid calling while leaving a 6 flags on a bus trip. SO the Couple talks to her over the speaker phone for a good 7 or 8 minutes. They discuss every ride! At one point the Mom asked the kid to repeat herself because she couldn't hear what she said! I think everyone at the restaurant wanted to say "SHe said that the COmet was her favorite roller coaster...she went on it twice" It actually got to the point that it was so rude it became funny, because we were all amazed that they were oblivious to everyone in the restaurant staring at them! We didn't say anything, because they really seemed like a couple that may never really get out and that they really didn't understand that they were being inconsiderate. I think they would have been terrible embarassed if anyone had said anything. The whole time I'm thinking, I can't wait to tell my peeps about this.

I also saw Pirates yesterday...very good! I thought it was a tad slow though. I wonder if they will do another one. I heard Kiera and Orlando were out if they did. Hmm. I think I would choose Johnny over Orlando though. But a better quandry was in the Oceans 13 preview...Brad, George and Matt. A trifecta perhaps?

Food for yesterday was ok-
B-4 scrambled eggs, toast, light OJ
L-other 1/2 of fajita roll-up, caramel corn, watermelon, diet snapple
D-hamburg, corn on the cob, a few chips, water
S-(movie) Jr. Mints, Gobstoppers, cherry icee

hmmmmmm.....johnny or orlando??? both, please! but i'm telling you, during that last scene (and i won't go into details because i don't want to spoil anything for anyone) where orlando is "different".....oh my god......break me off a piece of that!!!!!!!!!! i looked at ray and said, "he's so hot." he just rolled his eyes at me.

i wouldn't mind if they got rid of kiera knightly for the 4th one. i don't like how she shows her bottom teeth when she talks and she's too skinny. seriously. she looks like a bobble head doll.

okay....and one last thing. pixie mentioned people using cell phones at inappropriate times....drives me nuts!!! when we went to see the lord of the rings, return of the king there was a woman in the theater that kept answering her cell phone and having conversations AND she had a screaming kid! now i'm a lord of the rings FREAK and i was so looking forward to this movie. normally i would've just bit my lip and tried to ignore her. but i was so frustrated because it was ruining everyone's experience of the movie. why would you bring a baby to a 3-hour adult movie???? and the cell phone thing....well, duh! so i went and got the usher and she got kicked out.

DD(15) is trying to convince me that the demographic for POC is the teenage girl and that is why they have Orlando Bloom in the movie. I said no the demographic is the 45 year mom and THAT is why Orlando Bloom is in the movie!

That "new" Orlando in Pirates also made me turn to my friend and say, "Yes please!"

I'm a LOTR freak too! One of my dogs is named Pippin!! I also had music from the soundtrak for my ceremony music. My best friend's mom is a bigger fan..she goes to Toronto all the time for a internet club thing and she even went to the Oscar party for the first movie way back when.

OMG! That is actually pretty funny....not only on speaker phone, but it was from a bus load of screaming kids no less! I have to say, when DH and I (rarely) go out alone and are trying to enjoy our time without our kiddo attached....we always get seated by a party with like 6 kids, or somebody with a screaming child. Never fails.

Am I the only freak that just isnt that into the POTC movies? I liked the first one well enough, but have no desire to run out and see the others. I must have missed out on that part of my Disney cult training

i love the pirate movies, but it's not like i watch them over and over and have to have the best version of the DVD with every added bonus that's known to man, like i am with the LOTR movies! i thought this new one was good, but honestly.....i was confused some of time. not only is there so much going on it's hard to keep up with, but half the time i can't understand what some of them are saying and that makes it even worse! especially the barbosa guy.......what did he just say????????

I read the books and really enjoyed them but just never saw the movies. It's on my must do short list.


I'm soooo tired today. WHY must my kids insist on waking up at their normal time when I've been up late? So, I'm UP.

Other than the bucket of popcorn (the LARGEST one made) I've dont so good on SB Phase I. I snack on string cheese or mixed nuts or a SB cereal bar (chocolate). It's working!

people tell my little brother he looks like josh hartnett all the time. i don't see it at all! here's a pic of him from this past christmas....well, it's actually me, my sister and him. the date on the pic says 2003 but that's because my ditz of a father didn't change the date on his camera. and please don't take this picture seriously....we were posing on my uncle's staircase like we did about 15 years ago when we were kids and we were totally being silly!

and UM - you're not the only one who's guilty of eating popcorn! we didn't eat lunch before we went to see pirates yesterday (we were running late), so we got a large popcorn and spilt it. luckily their butter machine was broken because DH usually wants extra butter, so we just used the cheese flavored salts they have. but i still ate too much of it!

Here's a little eye candy for those of you who are Captn. Jack fans! I was never a huge Jonny Depp fan but for some reason Captn. Jack does it for me! Normally I wouldn't be attracted to a long haired, tatooed, slightly feminine drunk, but I him! Ok..I passed on the bag. Showed it to DH and he said he was fine with using his pockets. We only take tickets, camera and his wallet. (Can't wait until the kiddies come along!! ) I think he is worried about expenses for the summer. He's right. We don't need it. I can wait until another time.
