so! My pitty party after today's weigh in is OVER!

I took my $100.00 I got paid today and high-tailed it to Wal-marshay (the official Peeps grocery store) and got salad, and South Beach stuff, and tons of low fat cheese, and snacks.

Starting hard core Phase I (South Beach totally works for me) tomorrow. I am SOOO skinny already.


Now, what's "alli"? A new magic pill being advertised like crazy that makes you poop uncontrolled if you eat too much fat??? I HAVE TO HAVE SOME!!!!!

Good Morning Peeps!!!

Geeez, did we offend a massive group? We're dwindling. I hope I didn't tick anyone off. Maybe the missing peeps found a better thread? Naw, that isn't possible . I know it's hard to keep track of everyone and it's hard to comment after each post. I do read it all (or most of it) but don't always comment. I'm being nuts, I know but there's been times when I've been PM'd by someone who feels left out. I'm soooo sorry, I don't do it on purpose .

Y'all are my second family so tell me if I'm just being sensitive and a dork. OK?

I'll be MIA most of the weekend. My husband and I are getting ready to leave now to go pick up my grandma and take her to her brother's funeral.
Just wanted to let you know that my weekend will be very busy and I won't be on much. Later everyone.

School is over DH took the older two to the fair last night and they had sooo much fun. Another friend of ours took his boys as well. I am going to let the kids sleep in as late as Joshua will let them--that will probably not be much longer

I need a good summertime dessert for tonight. We are going over to our friends to cook out and I am in charge of this area. Thought about a trifle, but I don't know---nit everyone likes those. Have to be there at 5:30 so please send me some ideas.

Going now to start my Saturday house clean up --this is not going to be fun!

Working at the deli today 9-5:30. Really need to quit this job but have to figure out how & still pay bills. Oh well...I'll figure it out sooner or later!

I already have that magic pill for when I over-eat...it's called IBS!!!!

Going to Buffalo tonight to see Pirates with friends..I can't wait! Has anyone seen it yet?

On a diet note.....I tried on the bottoms to my swimsuit (remember that little suit..the one that is size L on the bottom and S on the top!! ) The last time I had them on was in March and I was very uncomfortable in them. They were tight..it doesn't help that they are boy-cut bottoms either. Anyway, last night they were a bit loose. Definitely feel good in them now. So that's something.

Dance-forgot to quote you last night. You're right..we are our worst critic. Whenever something fits tight on me I think it looks bad when maybe it doesn't. I may stop at Old Navy today and see what they have. Thanks!

We saw Pirates last night. Very good! about 3 hrs long though. Kinda leaves you waiting for more- I think that's the plan though.

Summer desert. The trifle sounds good to me.

UM: I guess I just dont get it. I know we lost Dene and I'm sad that she no longer needed us but I wasnt aware that anyone else dumped us. I think most are lurking. Its silly to get your feelings hurt if someone doesnt comment about your personal post. For me part of the support I get is just seeing my thoughts in print and reading what others are going through and how they are coping. It makes me aware that there are others out there with the same issues as me, work, home, family and life's little stressors which all affect my weight. This thread just like anything else is only as good as what each person puts into it. ANYWAY... LOVE YOU!

Thanks Sparkie! I just get attached to people. I really miss Dene, though but I dont think we hurt her feelings. I was just thinking of possibilities why so many join then quit. I'm sure there are many reasons, ya know?

So happy to see so many New Kids!

Welp, my weight is a solid 4 pounds less than yesterday's big 4 pound gain! THERE'S HOPE!!! Whew, that was "easy" (a full day on South Beach- NO cheating, and like 3 GOOD trips to the big-potty)

Last week's total weight loss was just about 19 pounds!

I'm on-fire about September! < skinny banana!!! Only 22 pounds to GO!

we're taking our nephew to a matinee of pirates today....i can't wait!

my sister called me last night the second time they rode ToT so i could listen to her scream. i put my phone on speaker so ray could hear it and we were cracking up! it was so funny!!! she said while they were watching fantasmic and during the part when the princesses (ariel, snow white and belle) come out on the floats and she saw belle and the beast, she screamed out, "oh my god....that's beauty and the beast!!!!" then she said really quickly, "i'm sorry i just said that out loud!" because, number one, she said it REALLY loud and, number two, she figured everybody realized who that was! but because they got there so late they only had time to eat at 50's PTC and then ride RnRC and ToT (twice) and then see fantasmic, so this was her first siting of a character who she really loved and she got excited! they're at animal kingdom today....i'm so jealous!

sounds like she got to do the best parts at least!! I don't think I could take talking to someone on the phone while they were in the parks!! Did they ever get free tickets or anything for their troubles?

Hi Peeps! I am having a lazy Saturday. My DH and I went out to dinner last night to celebrate the last day of school. Today I will be cleaning and doing laundry. (Fun! ).

Pigget-I saw a recipie in the Kraft Food and Family magazine for an ice cream cake that you make with ice cream sandwiches. I think you layer ice cream sandwiches, and chocolate pudding and then cover it with cool whip. Then you refreeze it. I'm sure if you looked on Kraft's website they would have a better discription of it. Isn't it nice to be on summer break?!!

Tara-I have a hard time finding shorts that I like too. I did find two pairs at Kohl's. But, I can't find a pair of jean shorts that I like. I have one pair from last year that I am taking on vacation. So frustrating!

Dawn-Yeah!! Another vacation!! I am so excited for you! And for me too because hopefully, you will be writing another TR that I can read! I am glad that your sister is having fun.

nope, nada. jon (her BF) is going to write a letter requesting that they reimburse him for the cost of 1/4 of their vacation because that's basically what they missed due to the flight being cancelled.

and i LOVE talking to someone while they're at disney...it gets me so excited! then i hang up and i'm so jealous!!! i'm sure she'll be calling me again before the day's over with. this morning she called me at 8:30 because they were on their way to AK and the first thing they were gonna do is get fastpasses to EE and then do the safari and she wanted to ask me how the fastpass machines work. i said, "duh!?! didn't you guys watch that disney channel thing in your hotel room with the annoying stacy girl (or whatever her name is) that explains this??!??" but they had gone straight to bed when they got back to the hotel, so they hadn't been schooled yet.
