I really like Big Brother but I don't think it comes on until July. I might need to catch up on some shows that I don't normally watch and try to see them from the beginning.

I just started watching Reba from the beg. last week. I really like it!! (So does DH! ) Big Love starts again in June too. I have not watched BB since season 1!! Seems like forever ago.. I was still living with my parents so it must have been summer of 2000???

Son is graduating high school tonight. Yes, my first is leaving the nest. I've already had my cry. But I'll probably cry some more.

He is adorable!!!! My lab is now about 70lbs! They grow very fast!!!!

I think my DD is in for a REALLY BIG dog, since the owners of the lab who had the litter think some of the puppies were a Lab/St. Bernard mix!!!

He sure was a little cutie though. I am missing having him around.

I am exhausted, not much sleep last night (thanks dd to wandering and crying I'm still awake - and dh snoring) today was the Art Institute field trip - I really ought to post a picture of my ankle - y'all will not believe the size!! About the size of a grapefruit, but I got thru it!!

Sandy! So sorry to hear about your ankle!!! I hate when that happens. But I LOVE the Art Institute, especially their Impressionists collection. I'm glad you were still able to make it through there today.

Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary. Sadly, DH is out of town but he will be back tomorrow.

I am 3 days into my trip report so hopefully I will post something soon, including pics of the Wilderness Lodge Villa and the new AK villas that they had on display.

Today is DD#2's b-day. I officially have 2 teenagers. Man, time sure flies. We're having cake with dinner. It's a good thing I saved some points. I'm thinking about surprising every one with a movie, have to go check out showtimes.

BIG LOVE??? I loved that show! I thought it was canceled because it just stopped. I'm from Utah so I LOVE the DRAMA of the other wives! (That really does go on!!!! It's NOT the mainstream LDS church, of course).

I haven't ever seen Reba. I'll have to watch it!

did someone say big brother???? i LOVE me some BB! my favorite was season 6....i loved howie and janelle! i'm not much of a TV person in that i only have a handful of shows that i have to watch but BB is one of them. and i also love so you think you can dance. in fact, that show is the reason i can't watch dancing with the stars....because the kids on SYTYCD are so good and the stars on DWTS are so bad, comparitively speaking!!!!

Okay, there are lots of teachers here.I have waited until the last minute and need to buy teacher gifts.My DS9 wants to get his teacher a PEZ dispenser(she collects them) and DD8 wants to get hers some lotion.Tyler(DS11) has three teachers.I need help.....

Gifts for the classroom are great. rubber stamps or stickers are great for primary. Age appropriate books for the classroom are great too. I got the funniest gift from a student today: A bracelet from Bad Boys Bail Bonds with their 800 # inscribed. And I thought I hid that side so well!


I fell into that XXL bag of M & Ms today Looks like broccoli for dinner tonight.

oh, girl....you've got to get caught up on that show! it's so awesome. the finale last season was soooo good!

Just wanted to mention that DH's last day in the Navy is tomorrow!!! Although, I have to admit I will miss the uniform every AM and the job security. He will still get paid through July and then start his new job selling life insurance after our trip. (double paychecks are nice..even if it's only for a month!!) Any one need l.insurance?

I will of course post pics. I have 44 kids in the recital this year I wont bore you with all of the pics, but a few with DD in it I will have to share of course!

I just bought the choc. chip ones but haven't tried them yet. I am also struggling to find TV shows. So You Think You Can Dance starts again this week...I watched that last season and thought it was ok.

This week? I freakin love that show (duh!) How did I not know it was starting again? they ahve the most taleted kids on that show, they are all so amazing. I wish it would have been around back in the day when I was fit and young enough to audition!

I love Big brother too! I loved all the seasons, but Marcellas was my faorite I think. He was just so funny to me, dont know why.
And I watch DWTS, but mostly for the professionals and to see how much they can get the dopey celebrities to learn.

There are some awesome people that buy and get the live feeds and transcribe them... minute per minute, and include screen caps - but of course now with youtube - you can just watch the highlights that never make it to air - its just the best discussion board - moderated so no making mean comments about each other or cast members ( you can say I dont like how Bunky cries in the DR but you cant say Bunky is a crybaby... sorta like that!)

BB is what got me online and into message boards!! You will get family members joining this messsage boards, and yes, even a time or two actual Bb contestants11

Harley and Stacey, good to have you back! I was MIA most of this past week while my daughter was home. She called around 8:30 to let us know she'd made it back safely.

I spent the last several hours getting rid of a virus from my computer. I couldn't type several letters. It was SO frustrating. Grrrr!!! But I think things are OK now.

The only ones I will be watching are Comic and Dance. DH will watch that cheesy Superhero one! I may watch Inventor, since I did before, but not sure.

So that AF pd. finally came off this AM plus another .5 Now I want to lose 1.5 by Friday to be back on track of at least a pd. a week. It's the boy's 6th b-day at work today and we are going to my fav. restaurant for lunch..Friendlys!! But I am going to resist the grilled cheese/fries and get the salad and soup. Although I am sure they are close fat wise since I use 1000 Island dressing. You can see the fat in that!!

Have a good day everyone! DH and I had a lovely fight last night. It's all my fault..I am just on edge with him leaving the Navy (in my subconscious) b/c of the lovely job security he had. Better go apologize before I leave!

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!!

It's a beautiful day and there's NO SCHOOL today due to election day! You know what that means...no waking the kids, no making lunches, just time to DIS, shower and go to work. YAY! Just practicing up for next week when school's out!

StaceyPoppinsPartyGirl....Seems everyone in America (or at least in the Hattiesburg area) has now been to a party at your house cept me. Glad the head and hip are cooperating. We miss you!

My main difficulty is that I work odd hours at my job which throws off my eating schedule as I have no set daily routine.

Lessa! This part sounds like Sparkie, our peep who works nights and transports kids to dance lessons in the evenings. My only advice would be "Be Prepared!" Have something yummy but healthy waiting when hunger strikes. And it does help to eat often and at regular intervals. My stomach now has an expectation of when the food is arriving and it tells me so!

My pants feel bigger.

SANDY....Hope the ankle is better! Be careful out there! I confess....I don't watch TV. I KNOW! Usually just rent movies but don't really watch any series unless I happen to catch it over DD's shoulder. (Gilmore Girls, Seventh Heaven) I am always appalled by the spoiled brats on My Super Sweet Sixteen and the wretched excess on Cribs....really turns me off to reality TV. I do try to tune in to What Not to Wear on Friday nights. I need all the help I can get.

Good Morning!

Happy belated B'day Celery!

Welcome Newbies!

I do understand about not having a set eating pattern. For years my eating pattern has been a continual graze. I often felt like one of Eventer's horses with a feed bag attached. Eating on the go is a challenge. I agree- keep healthy snacks close at hand, try to eat small meals instead of the OMG I'm starving now stuff your face with what ever you can find method. Water is a big challenge- if I drink then I gotta potty, if I gotta potty then I interupt my sleep time- so still working on that one here. I have been trying crystal lite this week- Does that count as water? I like the tea and the cherry limeade.

Well- I survived the Graduation ceremony with minimal tearing. DH and I had a nice lunch with my son- offered to take him anywhere he wanted and all he could come up with was Applebee's. I was pulling for J. Alexanders (steaks are to die for) but Applebee's was good too. We had some nice reconnect time with our son.

DD2 5th grade graduation and awards day today. Then 3 more days of school

And on the subject of the purse snatching Cowboy- I gotta get me one of those or I gotta move to the midwest.
