Hey everyone! :goodvibes I'm popping in to say that this will be my last Peep Post for awhile... (I know, I know! Some of you are thinkin' who are you anyway?! - I haven't been posting very much, but I've been trying to be a part of the Friday weigh-ins...) Well, it's happening already... I've gained almost 2 pounds and there's more where they came from. It's Grad Party/Open House time, and I can't resist a good barbeque. :sad2: We've got parties to go to for the next 8 weekends, not counting our own party for my daughter who's graduating on June 1st, plus Memorial Day... you get the point. I know that there is NO WAY I'm gonna be good. I really don't want to mess up your Friday totals, so I'm saying Good-Bye for now. I'll be back and heavier than ever in a few months... :headache:

Take care Peeps!
Keep Slimmin'!
-Michelle

P.S. WooooHoooo Wendy!!! Nothin' like having a cranky husband underfoot all the time! I'm happy he found a job that gets him out of your hair!!! (I had to deal with my hubby at home after he was outsourced a few years ago! It wasn't pretty. Eventually he was hired back in, so all is well...)

Okay, just so I understand it. In your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

-3 for the week!! Must update ticker...

I'm back from New Jersey...

Aries -- where is Hawthorne? I was in Monmouth county near the ocean... I hope you are far away from the fires!

Its in Bergen County about 45 mins from where you were. Yea I was not near the fires but a lot of people evacuated up here.

I am back from my trip, as of last night. WDW was very fun, as usual. We didn't have any smoke issues, and the weather was great. The 2 days at CSR were nice but the 3 at the Wilderness Lodge were *awesome*. I didn't know what to expect there but we loved it.

I may do a trip report, my first here on DIS. We hit 3 of 4 parks (no AK), and both water parks. Got a "dream" (free locker, towels, mugs, and water wallet) in Typhoon Lagoon, and was the first down Summit Plummet for the day.

!
WELCOME BACK!!!

Weight stayed the same, BUT I've lost 6 or 7 inches since we measured last! And I'm wearing a size smaller pants! Very excited about that.

.

Congratulations on the smaller size!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Thank you! That is good to know. I seem to have a knack for liking shows that get canceled. :confused3

Thanks for welcoming me with open arms. Does anyone have any tips on losing weight that could help? I am trying to do the LA Weightloss, but I really don't feel like doing anything so regimented ya know? I was thinking of loosley sticky to it, but also just cutting out the junk, trying to cut down the carbs, eat more veggies and fruit and get my butt moving!! :) I am sure if I go back and read through I will find some helpful hints on here, but there is 900+ pages and that is a lot of reading, he he, does anyone have anything to recommend that really helped you? Thanks!:goodvibes

I am doing Weight Watchers. I like the flexibility. I ordered a kit and I am doing it at home on my own. I post here for the accountabliltiy. This group has made a huge difference for me. The support I get here keeps me motivated.:thumbsup2

I have the best news humanly possible... MY DH got a job and he'll be GONE durring the day!!!! See, he worked graveyard which sucks in SO many ways:

Congratulations!!:cool1:

Huge fan of The Office. I can’t believe Ryan got the job with Corporate! That was quite the surprise. I thought for sure it would be Karen, because that would leave Jim free for Pam. But from what I have read, the lady who plays Karen is going to be on a new show on Fox (I think its Fox, at least) next season. So she’s gone one way or another.

I thought it was going to be Karen too! How priceless was it that Ryan turns to Kelly and said "we're done". :)

I LOVE, LOVE the Office and My Name is Earl. My favorite character on the Office is Dwight Shrute. In hono(u)r of Dwight here are some quotes just for you: (and all the other the Office fans, if any)

Thank you for the quotes! That show is so good I watch each episode twice (I'm a dork, I know;) ). I loved it when Jim imitated Dwight and came in dressed like him.
"Three B's: Beets, Bears and Battlestar Gallactica."

I stayed the SAME. I am good with that since I haven't been faithful to point counting this week. I need to restock my fridge with WW friendly items. I am getting low on good choices and that is when my will power begins to waver.

Anyone have big plans for the weekend? We are going to be planting flowers. I also would like to see Spiderman 3 (anyone see this yet?). I also need to get started on my report cards.:sad2: On the bright side only 5 days left of school!!!:yay: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Down 1 pound:cool1:

Total now is 4#. I am in the SUPER SLOW Race of weight loss. But I guess I am getting there.

If only I could lose weight as quickly as the PRICE OF GAS CHANGES.

I dont know how it is where you are but this morning when I parked my car at the school for the program -gas across the street was 2.95. I moved my car at lunch and it was 3.10. Now if I could drop 15 between breakfast and lunch wouldnt that be a treat. Or maybe this is a government ploy to combat obesity in America- to make gas so expensive that you cant afford to eat and you have to walk because it cost too much to drive. Just my little rant.;)

fly by.........crazy day!!!! just a quick post to say i stayed the samethis week. if you want to get technical about it, i really lost 1 pound because i gained a pound over my vacation and now i've lost that one. but since i didn't weigh in last week, i'm comparing my weight today with my weight two weeks ago. hope everyone's having a good friday........i'll catch up later! :goodvibes

Dene- Don't break up with us!!!! I neeeed youuuuuu!

I think I'm not going to post my #'s today. Let's just say the "2" (that was GONE FOREVER) is back. Stupid 2!!!!. Guaran-as_-teed not to be back again!

HEYYYY, It's SOMEONE's birfday tomorrow!!!! To that someone: ENJOY your last day in your 30's!!!!!! You rook fabulous!!!!

I have the best news humanly possible... MY DH got a job and he'll be GONE durring the day!!!! See, he worked graveyard which sucks in SO many ways:

1. He's HOME ALLLLLLLLL DAY, throwing off my groove. I guess I have a delicate groove?
2. He's sleep deprived and an 'onery-cow. And he's home all day. All. Day.
3. I do daycare during the day and keeping 3 two year olds quiet is not easy.:dance3:

Reasons why I like him to work during the day:
1. HE'LL BE GONE ALL DAY!!!!! :woohoo:
2. Our marriage MIGHT have a chance. :upsidedow
Yay on the job for your H! I cant imagine how hard it would be to keep the kiddos quiet during the day!

I am happy to record a 1.2 pound loss this week. That brings me to a grand total of 26.4 pounds lost since the beginning of the year, and an uber-grand total of 50.4 pounds lost since April 2005 in about 9 1/2 non-consecutive months.

I am now at my lowest weight since, well, I don't remember the last time I was at this weight. The driver's license I got when I was 16 said 205. When I met my wife in 2002, I was around 195. I was 240 at my highest weight 6 months before my August 2005 wedding. I was at 215 when I got married. But now, with my 1.2 pound loss this past week, I broke the 190 lb barrier (189.6 to be exact) for the first time since I don't know when. And even though I've still got a good 35 pounds to go until I reach my goal, I think I can feel pretty good about how far I've come in two years. And yeah, there are still some days when I look at my self in the mirror and turn away in disgust. But those days are getting fewer and farther between. And I am anxiously waiting for the day when I look in the mirror and hardly recognize myself. And not because of how terrible I look, but because of how great I look. Hasn't happened yet, but I'll get there. In fact, I am confident that we'll ALL get there. We just have to keep on keeping on!

Good luck to all this week!
That is so fantastic! Good for you!!

No kidding! The same thing happened to me today! I got gas this morning and an hour or so later it was up 15cents. If only it would go down as fast. It is ridiculous that they can get away with the prices they are charging. Makes me sick. But they know there is nothing we can do about it anyways.

:lmao: I read your first sentence and was totally thinking gas as in rumbly in the tumbly!

Dwight: Don’t you want to earn Shrute bucks?

Stanley: No. In fact, I’ll give you a billion Stanley nickels if you never talk to me again.

Dwight: What’s the ratio of Stanley nickels to Schrute bucks?

Stanley: Same as the ratio of unicorns to leprechauns.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

Did you miss me? Do you even remember who I am? Yes, it is me Allie from Alabama. My preschool ended Tuesday night with a lovely program that included tears and tissues. There is nothing more angelic than two year olds singing Jesus Loves Me!! All the children did a great job singing. I am glad it is all over though. I told you I wouldn't be around much. I didn't even have time to lurk. So I am like 90 pages behind.:scared: Don't have time to catch up, so I am just jumping in here. Somebody's havin' a birthday tomorrow! :rolleyes1

Hope you guys will take me back. We have eaten REAL good this last week at preschool. Round up the wagons for me Sandy! ;)

:grouphug: Love you all and I really missed you!
