i took "in between" pics tonight. (i think the margarita made me do it!!! ) i don't want to call them "after" pics because i'm not done yet! but i'm very happy with my progress. i took the "before" ones in january, before i joined the peeps. i really didn't make any progress at all until march, when i joined this thread. so THANK YOU ALL for the suggestions, accountability factor and just plain being there!!!!!! you really did help and are still helping more than you know!

and no, i'm not posting the before and in between pics here!!!

Awww, I wanna see. I was considering taking some in between pics myself. I don't have a before but I might be able to freeze frame from our WDW trip DVD from Jan.

Kat so sad - glad fil comitted, I just feel for your dh, as my dh lost his father, its so hard for them!

i'm off to eat some mexican food and have a much needed MARGARITA!!!!!! yeah, i know that alcohol played a strong part in all of this drama and it's kinda ironic that i'm needing more alcohol because of it. but i drink like once a week so i think i'm okay on the alcohol thing! plus this is my one cheat meal i allow myself every week and i deserve it this week for sure!!!!!!!!! have a good night, everyone!

I just wanted to share a couple of pictures from my July 4 trip to Bodega Bay, about 1 1/2 hours north of San Francisco. The weather was about 20 degrees cooler than my house, where it was over 90.

Here's the view of the bay from our bedroom window.

Here's from the living room. The real herons were everywhere.

What do you think these bushes made me think of?

Coming home, I still felt awe in approaching the Golden Gate Bridge, even though I've crossed it more than 100 times.

As we were crossing, the fog totally enveloped us, and it looked like we were driving off into the clouds.

I feel very fortunate to live in this beautiful state. Anyone want to visit? Let me know. I love playing tourist.

Hey Peeps!! Just wanted to let everyone know that thanks to the early preganancy test Dance sent me I found out I am pregnant!!! I will probably be due about 2 weeks after her! We aren't telling anyone except for my 3 best friends and you guys...I hate the thought of jinxing anything!!! so you have lost two dieters!! have a great day everyone!

I went to see License to Wed today. It was hillarious! I hadn't laughed that hard at a movie in quite a while.
I love the skinny minnie shirts. I'm just jealous that I won't be there. I'll be at home posting to myself. wo is me!

UPDATE ON RYAN--sorry I have not posted but our main computer died and we have been working to get our pictures back

I am at church now in my office so I thought I would share with you that prayer works.

The was taken off the ventilator 6 hours after surgery (normally it is at least 24 hours). He was moved to the step down ICU unit yesterday. Today they needed his blood level (or something in it) near 9 or 10 his has been around 2--well this morning is was a whopping 13!! They are amazed by how well he is doing. We are far from out of the woods so please contiue to pray for him and his family. I gave you the wrong age - he is 9. His younger brother who is 7 is having a hard time being away from his parents and brother. He is here this morning at church and just seems very distant--so please pray for him as well.

ANother prayer reqest for Bruce Barefoot---he has been in hopstial since last Sunday with a blood infection and they found out on Friday that is was antibiotic resistant staph--His wife is my partner at work and they have just been through a lot this past year-not going into all of it but they could relly use prayers for healing, his business selling, and disability to take him on. Please remember them as well.

Another slow day here on the Peep thread. Hope that means everyone is having a great Sunday!

I went shopping today...haven't been to the mall in ages. Got the cutest pair of sandals that were on sale and 4 tops that I can wear when I have to be "clinic appropriate" and still get use of them on the weekends. I love having some new things to wear.

Now I'm just trying to play catch up on all the work I put off doing until tonight. Ugh. At least I get to see the crush tomorrow. Makes Mondays a little easier.

And I'm planning on calling the dentist tomorrow to make a consult appt. Trying not to get too stressed over it yet...and I'm building up my courage.

I hear ya about the dentist Shannon! I hate it as well..I haven't had dental insurance in almost 2 years so I have had that as an excuse. But I will have it again this fall and will have to go.

I hear you on the dentist - I found one that did a version of "lamaze" he was great... we didnt have insurance either, we finally paid off student loans only to get hit with massive dental bills (wisdom teeth, crown, and a bridge!)

Im starting a diet Today and Im vowing to loose those 35 extra pounds that have slowly creept up and taken over! They are like horrible lil gremlins destroying my life! I need to get in shape and get healthy!

i was actually unfortunately here, just typing most of the day....way to spend a sunday, huh? i really want to get this child molestation trial done and behind me though. only 1-and-a-half more days to go (which equals about a week of typing).

as far as the dentist goes, i had a horrible experience at the dentist when i was 9 and it's stuck with me ever since. i hate it! i wish they could knock you out for any little thing they did.....even a teeth cleaning!
