:cool1: There is a Super Suppers near me! I've actually seen the store front but just didnt know what it was. Might give this a try. Especially since DH is sometimes in charge of dinner and frozen pizza is his idea of cooking. They are having a stock your freezer sale next week- 10% off- did somebody say SALE!!!

DO IT! We went to "My Girlfriend's Kitchen" last month and it was sure nice to not have to prepare the food at home! Everything's cut up for you.

My only funny observation was, it would sure SUCK to work there! Dishes and food prep all day :scared: That's my idea of Helk! (I spell it wrong on purpose, so as not to be a potty mouth)

The calorie count per generous serving wasn't too bad at all either. In fact, there was the WW points on the nutrition label....cool!

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

It's a new week! Let's start fresh today. I had a bad eating week last week with lotsa bad stuff thrown in with all the good stuff....lots of zombie eating kids leftovers, etc. So I'm starting over today....nuthin but the good stuff.

ARIES & CELERY....Way to go, ya big losers!!!

MOO....Cute puppy!

Gotta get ready for my day-off-ish day part-time-ish job then back home to clean house.

Is everybody else's house a disaster after the weekend like mine?

HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE!
:flower3:

I am sharing a couple pics of my DD's new puppy. He is a lab mix and his name is Cash (after Johnny, not $$$)! My hubby and I think our daughter is in for a REALLY large dog when he finishes growing. The people she got him from think he is a Lab/St. Bernard mix :lmao: It should be interesting to watch him grow. I will have to watch him grow through photos, since my DD is away at grad school. Hopefully she will bring him home for a visit occasionally. She is going to work on getting him used to long car rides.

Super cute puppy Minnie!! I think you're right about the lab/St. Bernard mix!!! I worked in a grooming salon and we had one come in all the time for baths...he was pretty big!!! When it comes to dogs I'm partial to large breeds!!! I like the name too. :goodvibes

Have a great Monday everyone! The laptop installer guy is coming today to transfer all my files from this computer to the new one and do anything else that needs to be done. I could probably do it myself but I'm too lazy. It will be nice to type to you guys from now on from the couch..not the back bedroom that doubles as the dog room during the day!! ;)

I'm UP, I'm up... wait... I dont have to work today... dh is particularly loud this mornin... *yawn..I'll go back to bed in an hour...

:yay:

WOO HOOTY

:cheer2:

Lets DO IT!! :dance3: :dance3:

How many sit ups for the challenge today??? :wizard:

Good Morning Peeps!

Melinda My house will be waiting when you get finished at yours. Weekends are messy here too.

MinnieMoo I did my situps last night and thought of the pic of that cow- thats definately how I felt. I only commited to 25 a day but since i didnt do any last week due to my cold i said i would do make up work. Well, I went for 100. Ok- 10 at a time. The first 50 actually looked like crunches- the last 50 I think I just had the illusion of moving- but my tummy thought it was so i'm counting them. Really wasnt as bad as I thought.

Someone asked for salsa recipe:

2 large cans of tomatoes
1/2 bunch of cilantro
2 or 3 japelenos (you can use jar but fresh are better)
onion
1 Tb salt
1 tsp cumin (more or less to taste)
1 tsp minced garlic (more or less to taste)

Put all the ingredients in a blender.
This will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks or you can freeze.

Morning all! It's a late day for me so I have a few mins to catch up and post before work. I've already been on on the TM, 20 mins, 15 of them at a really good clip. No running this time but I'm working up to the full 3 miles in the time alloted for the 5K.

Since there has been talk about dinner prep services, I love Dream Dinners. I've been doing it for more than a year and can't say enough good things about it. it's a bit expensive though. I was reading on the budget board about stretching the meals and decided to try it this month. What was suggesteds to make the eals in smaller portions than your family needs and then add more meat that you purchase at the grocery store. I did my meals and went to WalMart and paid $20 for the extenders and wound up doubling many of our dinners. The GV IQF chicken breasts are huge and can be cut in half when they are cooked so I made meals for 3 and added 1 breast to get me to enough for all of us. (It helps that both DH and I are reducing ;) ) I also made a meal that has some southwest sauce with black beans and corn so I added half a can of beans and about 1/2c frozen corn. I planned my meals next month to do this again so I'm getting more meals for my $$.

Ok, I've got to get int he shower, so I have to wrap this up.

WTG on all the weight loss this week!

Shannon~ Great pictures from the cruise.

Stacey~ glad to see you're still trying to hang in with us. All the end of school year stuff will be over in a few weeks.

Cheryl~ cute grandpuppy!

belle~ Woo Hooty! on 200 posts.

33,000 calories!!!!:scared1: I know I can eat but that's like two weeks worth of food.

Out of time all.......I'll try to come back to 'play' later!

mornin peeps!!! i'm so excited.....i get to actually do a morning fitness class today! i haven't been able to do one in two weeks because of the trial from hades (UM - i'm not a potty mouth, either!) i much prefer working out in the mornings - it just gets you going and you get it over with early in the day. after that i'm off to wally world (walmart) to get more disney supplies and then to the outlet malls to look for a cute dress to wear to narcoosee's. nothing fancy - just casual and springy! one good thing about my middle-of-nowhere location - i have one of the BEST outlet malls in georgia two exits away from me. although it's not very good for my wallet.

by the way, i tried on a pair of jeans last night that i haven't worn in about 3 years and they fit, although they did make my backside look quite bootyluscious. that's not a very hard thing to do with my backside! i was gonna wear them the night we go to pleasure island, but i'm afraid i'll offend the families we'll see while at DTD! :lmao:

hope everyone has a fabulously skinny day!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a GREAT idea! Chicken is cheap and it do well with the abundance of sauce provided for each entree! I really stretch those dinners just by adding a dinner salad and bread. We've always had enough left over for lunch the next day.

Good morning everyone!

Shannon- those pics are great! I will take a cruise someday. If I can ever afford a disney cruise I will get a cruise and my disney fix all at once....but they are very pricey compared to a cruise from closer to home. They leave from a nearby port for a decent price. (7 days for about $400) Now it is just convincing DH we need to take a vacation ;)

Do IT! I love that they have the calories and stuff figured for me. Last night I had bourbon chicken (with real burbon in it) and some carrots in a sauce that I cant remember how I made- and my share was 415 calories! When I go, I do half meals because there are only 3 of us and DD rarely eats enough of what we are eating to matter. But my half meal of this was 3 large chicken breasts, so we even have leftovers!

I am sharing a couple pics of my DD's new puppy. He is a lab mix and his name is Cash (after Johnny, not $$$)! My hubby and I think our daughter is in for a REALLY large dog when he finishes growing. OMG, that is gonna be one big doggie! Adorable!

Well, I did the calorie counting thing yesteray and I did quite well I think! I used that handy formula and based it on a weight that I remember feeling god at...and I got 1980 calories a day, which seems a bit high but for now I will go with it. You multiply your goal weight by 12, right? Anywho.....

Breakfast-scrambled eggs kit thingy- it comes in the freezer section and has potatoes, sausage, onions and peppers. You add the eggs. My share was 580  But I didnt eat much for lunch so it was ok.
Lunch-A LUNA bar. If you have not tried them, they are awesome! I had the nuts over chocolate variety, 180 calories. They have 100% of vit c, folate and a few others, and lots of other good stuff. They are formulated for women princess:
Dinner- Bourbon chicken and acarrots- 415 calories.
Snacks-I had an oatmeal/cranberry cookie mid-afternoon. Bad use of calories but very yummy 240 calories. I had a McD's ice cream cone after dinner too only 150 calories though because they use that low fat yogurt instead of real ice cream :thumbsup2
Total for the day:1566, well under my supposed limit which seems high for losing weight.

Have a good day everyone...off to dance class to teach my little monkeys and burn some calories.:cool1:

Good morning, Peeps!
I know I have been Flakely McFlake lately on this thread...I just have not been keeping up with all the conversation and I just feel so out of the loop. My DH dropped a bomb on me a few weeks ago. He wants to quit running our business to be a police officer. He is going through testing until August/September and then if he makes it he will go to the (CHP) Police Academy for 6 months. I will only see him during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We live in Boise and the CHP Academy is in Sacramento. After he is done, Maddie and I will relocate with him to California. I am still trying to figure out HOW we are going to do this and it is stressing me out and I have been non-stop eating.:guilty: This is his dream and most of his family is in law enforcement in some way. I am just scared because we will be apart and things are going to be very financially tight here until he graduates. I appreciate you all letting me vent.

I want to come back to this thread if that is ok:flower3: I think this is my 3rd try.

I see that there is a peep meet in Sept! I hope you all have a great time!:yay:

Welcome back. Prayers to you guys that things will work out for the best and the time apart will fly by.

This weekend was osccer tournament. We played two games on Saturday and won both. One was 5-0 and the other was 2-0. Played our required game on Sunday and won 3-0 so we advanced to the semi finals. Played that game and won 3-1 so we advacned to the finals and lost 3-1/ DD played great--all the girls did. They came in second in City and in District and now they go to state tournament. The bad side of this is State Tournament is the same weekend DH and I leave for our NO KIDS TRIP. Another family has offered for her to go with them and that was a lifseaver. since the tournament is 2.5 hours away. We will have to keep calling to check on things.

My goal this week is to eat more salad and drink a lot more water. Possibly go walking 3 nights this week.

I hope that everyone is having a great day and it carries over to a great week.

feeling dull and stupid today! DD was up off and on till about 3AM :scared1: She's up and off to school at 7:30 - dh and I took naps!!

trying to complete 2 scrapbooks to send off to MHL!! :thumbsup2

Hello fellow Peeps!! Sorry, I'm still a week or so behind and trying to catch up with all the reading . . . but I was soooo busy with school and work that I forgot to weigh-in on Friday, better late than never I guess!!

1.4 lb. loss this week :cool1: !! And I finally get my 10 lb. ribbon  !!

My DH and I really need some Peeps prayers and a little bit of pixie dust pixiedust: . . . We've subscribed to a few different home searches and we had only looked at 2 houses up until this weekend, so I guess we've been casually looking for a new home (we've been living in the 2 bdr apartment style condo that my husband bought 5 years ago after we graduated from college, needless to say when we got married it suddenly got smaller :confused3 !!).

Anyways, this past Saturday we found the perfect house! It's located about 10 minutes from where we live now, it has just the right amount of space for us, we love all the colors and decorating, we wouldn't have to put any work into it, it has an awesome deck and a fenced in yard for our 2 boys pluto: !! But the best part is it has an above ground pool too which is one of my wishes!! And it's in our price range . . .

Now this is all pending on whether or not my DH's boss will commit to the raise this week that he told my DH was a possibility . . . And then we have to get pre-approved and put our condo up for sale which would involve tons of cleaning and packing up all of the excess stuff and furniture that mainly belong to me and clutter up the place (including the pool table I bought him for Christmas back when he was a bachelor)!!!

Already, yesterday we got a call from our realtor that the other realtor selling the house called her and said they received a bid, and it's only been on the market for 3 days!! Then 5 minutes later she called back saying that they had low-balled their bid and the family didn't think they could come to an agreement with the bidder :confused3 !! Now we're new to this process but all of that seemed kind of fishy . . . Would the other realtor just say that to get us to hurry and put in a bid??

So this looks to be a really stressful week between my super busy job, all of my silly group projects due for finals week, and keeping my fingers crossed that this will work out for us!!

I remember when we were in this process. At times we felt hopeless. We prayed that the right house would be there and the ones we were not supposed to have would sell before we could do anything. Guess what they all sold. That made us wait another year to sell. In that time the value of the houses in our area went up a lot---We sold our house for 27, 000 more than what we could have gotten the year prior. Talk about God's timing. With that we purchased land and built. I do not know about your area but here it was impossible to find a 4 bedroom 3 bath in our range- period. So we built for less than what it would have cost us to pruchase a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Good luck.
