I bought Smart Burn today with Hoodia! I took some at about 5:00 and ate a couple of bites of ravioli and an orange for supper. I do not feel like snacking tonight!!! Yea! But it was expensive. If you take as directed, it would be like $25 every 10 days. I don't think I will take it in the morning. Afternoon and evening is when I need it most.

Me too! I love it! We have been watching since the second season.

I'm watching right now. DD and DH are hooked, and they pull me in. I'm so impressed with these young people willing to put themselves out there. I'm not so impressed with the judges.

Thank you for all the salad dressings recommendations! They sound wonderful. I'm gonna try to eat more salad. I'm also gonna shoot for 35 grams of fiber each day. I read up on the FIBER35 DIET that someone said they were on and it sounds like lots of healthy results.

Good morming all. I was not on much yesterday--was kind of ill---then when I started feelinf better a great big ole' migraine set in. I actually took a darvacet last night and went to bed early. I feel like I have missed so much in the last week and half--that I do not think that I will ever catch up with everyone. If I missed birthdays or anyting--now that I am sending them now I had a run in with my stresser kid on Monday--he lied to his mom--saying that I would not let him have a snack or break She went to the office and said that she was very upset and had to talk with us right then---I explained I told him he could eat the snack, but lets not make it a habit -now I have to walk him thorugh the lunch line and ask on every item if he wants it--he did not get enough at lunch--and for the break-he never asked for one. Totally my fault because of my inability to read all her kids cues--anyway he was not there yesterday--so say a prayer that today goes well. Gotta get the kids up. HAve a good one.

Is it possible to lose weight and still weigh the same on the scale? My pants are falling down but my numbers have not moved this week

So in my shopping trip to Target this week I found this cute pair of capris on clearance. The tag said 14 but they seemed roomy so I bought them. Mind you that I am usually a good 18 these days. So I get them out and try them on today and WOW, they fit and they are super cute. So, since I am keeping them, I rip off the tags. Thats when I saw it.......
They are MATERNITY pants No wonder they fit me

Ever notice stores place plus sizes right next to maternity?! I did the same thing. I usually notice before I get home though. Hey, if they fit I would wear em anyway.

Ok, here's my true confession....................the other day I was having a very serious "talk" with my ds 13. I was so frustrated with him and was at the end of my rope. So in the middle of our little "talk" there was a little "poof" that came outa nowhere! I tried to continue on like it didn't happen but just watching the contortions on that poor boys face as he tried not to laugh, made me loose it and I started laughing. Anyway, the dang fiber totally ruined my teaching moment!

Hello all - sorry I wasnt around after all the well wishes for Buster...found him at a neighbors house, he stayed home til tonite and now he is gone again. I dunno what to do. He is so sweet he ahs about 3 homes that he makes rounds to, people stop in the street and let him in their cars to pet him...I dont stand a chance trying to keep him confined to my yard with that against me.

I have hypothyroidism, will start taking Synthroid tomorrow. hopefully I can shake this fatigue once it gets inot my system good.

Hugs to those htat need it, hugs to those doing well this week...I am not one of those people, and expect a gain already on Fri...maybe I can turn it around tomorrow...

That sounds like what I have seen eluded to on the discount board...they are all guessing free dining and I would bet money on it too. Mousesavers I think it was said that they didnt know for sure but would bet on it too. I had booked CBR with the infamous 40% code that was floating around months ago but free dining is better for us...I still have to convince DH we can afford it though

emerald, amethyst, diamond, peridot, emerald.....Purdy!


The diamond is symbolic of the baby I lost when I was 6 mo. pregnant (my very first baby too!) So he's front and center and a diamond for April.

I had to look up peridot (trying to envision your ring) and Wikipedia says it can be many different colors-what color is yours? I'm sure your ring will be gorgeous!!

Please tell me i am not alone in saying that Sanjaya NEEDS to go..he is way too Michael Jacksonish for me..not in a good way.

Evening ladies!

What a day!

I went to the bridal shop with my friend again over my lunch. I don't remember what I have posted about the wedding, but please let me give a brief synopsis. My friend just got engaged to her boyfriend of about 6 years about a month ago. He is about 10 years older than she is and has been married before and has a child, and she was beginning to think he was never going to ask. Anyway, she doesn't want to have a long engagement, so she decided on July! So, now the two date options she has are both an issue for someone, she is having a trouble finding THE dress, and time is running out, and she has to nail down a date so she can book one of the venues she is having held and make catering arrangements depending on which venue she goes with. OH, and I am the photographer!!! That's great except that her and I are really close, and I know from doing my SIL's wedding last year that I won't enjoy my friend's wedding like I normally would if I wasn't the photographer. Heck, I probably won't even want to wear a dress because who knows how much crawling around on the floor or standing on a step ladder I'll be doing. This is one of those friends who I really would have preferred to be in the wedding party, but she has a sister and a friend from high school back in WI, where she is from, and her fiancee will have trouble finding 2 guys to stand up, so I totally understand why she wants to stop there, and I would NEVER tell her that I was dissapointed! I am thrilled that she wants me to do the photography. I will just be a bit stressed that day and in working mode. And now, DH says he doesn't know if he can be off on the date that she is leaning towards, so he might not make it there until the reception. Another friend of ours is one of the people who will be out of town that weekend, and I believe my mom is doing the cake, so I might not have an assistant! That is not a good thing! I am stressed, and I can't imagine how my friend must feel if I am this stressed. Her head must be spinning! I am really trying off my chest.

On a good note, I ordered a new camera lens that I have been saving for months to buy. I should have it in the next couple of days, and I am sooooo excited!

Ok silly girl hers my 2 cents no change pelase.....I would have loved someone to take the pics of my wedding if they came out half as great as the ones you have taken. I have had a blast going through all those pics and by the way thers one of the cat on his back, OMG he looks as tubby as me on my back I jsut LOVED it!!!!

I paid 1750.00 in 1992 for a book of pics 4 x 6 that did not incled album or enlargements jsut the 4 x 6 proof box that inclued about 300 pics by the way my firends took better shots than that photographer!

Ook so I must say WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHHHOOOOOOOTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYY if you take the picutres I know the bride will just love them. You have a talent not a source of income and can truly capture the monets with your talent!!!!

okay....so i'm a self-confessed AI junkie since the first season, the one with kelly clarkson. and yes, she was my favorite and is still my favorite american idol to date!

don't know if you guys remember her, but on the second season there was a girl named kimberly locke who got 3rd place (behind ruben studdard and clay aiken). i went to high school with her - she was two years behind me. and she could sing then, too!

my favs this season are blake and jordin so far, but that could very well change. i usually change my mind at some point during the season. i'm such a dork.

by the way, don't vote for sanjaya. the kid's cute, but he's lacking desperately in the talent department and i feel bad for him that he's still even there embarassing himself. you guys know that there's a website (something like votefortheworst.com) that's asking people to vote for him so that the worst singer will win AI, right? i feel bad for him because i'm sure he knows about it and the only reason he's still there is because he's the worst singer! people are so mean.

i like melinda and lakisha, too, second to blake and jordin. i don't think lakisha did very well last night, though. and i'm kind of over melinda's "am i really that good?" act that she's putting on. it may be genuine, but i'm starting to get irritated with it.

I've been sort of lurking, check in every day to see what every one's up to. I'm doing ok on the healthy eating front, which means, I'm not full fledged dieting, just watching what I eat and maintaining my weight. I got side tracked and the stress I was dealing with got to be a bit much for me so I decided to ease up and make good choices as soften as I can and not to be a harsh taskmaster when I slide a bit. I will be back on track by the end of next week and plan to get back on the wagon by Apr 1st. I'm feeling good about where I am, it's not goal but 10 lbs sure does make a girl feel better. I had a huge beakthrough last night; I had a fight with DH and left the house w/out having dinner. I didn't go eat! I didn't even go shopping. I read some book regarding dieting and the top 10 things women do that sabatoge their efforts. It was eye opening. When I came home, I had a sensible dinner.

In other news from my little chunk of earth:
This is still in the teeny, tiny planning stages but it looks like I might GET TO GO BACK TO THE WORLD!!!!! I sort of threw a fit over free dining and DH put his foot down since it was going to be a lot of $$ even with the dining. But when he thought about it and concidered my statement that Disney; even on a shoestring, is a lot more fun than staying home....... well, he decided we might be able to do it. I'm looking at mid-Oct (my b-day week!) and we'll stay at Shades of Green if we go. I'll post more details when we make our ressies and have solid dates. (No this isn't free dining but we wouldn't be able to get it if we stayed at SoG.)

I might get a second trip to WDW in a single year!!!!!!
