AHHHHHHHHH Stacey I have the answer for that, you see your hip is swollen and reatining fluids so thats one lb there! I will not tolerate you minimzing that fact either! I hear I never lose an arugement!

When I got hurt the most frustating thing that destroyed my eatting was all the things I could NOT do even if I wanted like mop the house all day! Watching and guarding your movements so as to not injury fruther is enough to deal with in a day.

Be gentle with yourself Stacey I demand nothing less!!!

I must feel very empowered after the gals gave me my blown horn the other day!!
 
Grumpy - I am sad to see you leave us, but to be honest, I know it must be hurtful for both of you on here, even tho we are impartial to your situation, your reading each others posts is going to be hard on you unless you both keep it totally generic. Know that we love you and will miss you, hope you will pop out of lurkdom to let us know how you are!!! :hug: ps please pass on an atagirl to your baby for working hard to accomplish her goal!!! :cheer2:

To all I was not saying that challenges in our lives should not be posted. Just that this is too personal for ME to take part in. As I have said before if Belinda would like to post that information in this venue that will of course be hers to decide. I will always protect my children and in the future I will protect myself from pain. I wish all of you the very best. I wish Belinda nothing but the best.

Back to work and can't wait till tonight...NO not for the calamari....well maybe...but I am going to try and make tee shirts for our trip! They have sooo many neat designs on that creative thread! WOW!!!

I am not a crafty one so this could be messy but fun! DH and DS have no idea about their shirts for their birthdays. I suggested to DS that we do something creative this weekend and I am all aobut mickey so we will try and tie dye a bit. This could get messy!!!!

OK UM, I am NOT highlighting this! Two reasons - 1) It doesn't affect your calculations, I don't think. And 2) I plan to weigh again when I get home, after drinking a LOT of water today. Here's why...

I GAINED 2 lbs! WHAT?!?!?!? I honestly do NOT know what I have done that would have caused this. I am soooooooo frustrated today. If I knew the cause and I could change it, I would not be upset, but I really don't know! I am hoping for a mishap in timing due to the jumbo pickle I ate yesterday and the sodium from it???:confused3 I have done my exercise bike for 30 minutes twice this week and my exercise ball for 30 minutes twice this week so far. I have stayed right around 1600 calories every day besides my cheat day and one day that was 1900, but since I weigh 230-something, that should not be an issue. And I don't believe my cheat day was any worse than any of the others. (I can't remember what we ate for dinner that day, so I will have to ask DH if he remembers tonight.) I was flabbergasted when I saw that number on the scale this morning! I was hoping to lose at least the .8 lb. I would have needed to get my 20-lb ribbon! Ugh! This is making me quite emotional, so sorry if I am rambling. I am trying to think about this logically and determine possible causes. I know that this is one week and next week may more than make up for it if it is just a fluke, but right now, in this moment, I feel frustrated and confused. I will work on this. I just want to see that number go down, and I want to know what I need to do to make that happen next week. OK, I guess I just needed to vent about that. I will keep plugging away and work even harder this coming week to see that loss next Friday. And I WILL be drinking a lot of water today and weighing again when I get home, and I will report what I see.

Hey Guys!!!

So far we've lost nearly 26 and a half pounds! OH YA!!!!!

Today for my weight loss efforts, I'd usually be thinking subconsciously to eat a little something NOT diet-y because it's the furthest point of time till the next weigh in!

Anyone else do that?

So, that's one thing I'm working on.

Oh, and I've been taking Hoodia for appetite and it really works!
I saw an infomercial on it but there's was to expensive, so I go pure Hoodia at Walmart (it cant be diluted with green tea or anything else to be safe and most effective) The dose I take is 1000 mg. 1 hour before meals. And it REALLY helps with my nighttime munchies!

Has anyone else tried Hoodia? It pretty much works for me and it isn't the placebo effect.
I am also taking Hoodia with UM i absoulutely love this stuff it has helped me out so much i do not eat before i go to bed and because i have to take it an hour before i eat it helps me to remember to eat balanced meals and at a certain time (this used to be me: no breakfast, no lunch(unless i remembered)snack on anything during the day and then i eat dinner(pick at kids plates)then finally sit down and eat for me at 9-10 pm after the kids are in bed and wonder why i am starving, so i say this stuff really works for me.. :love:
