Maybe I will finally finish my Sept trip report today.

I have spent my afternoon re-doing Sparkpeople. I had a lot of success when I tracked everything there. Maybe that is the kick in the pants I need to get this going again.

Ok, I just got back from Fleet Feet. I decided to get some good running shoes for the 5K. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, huh? :rotfl2: They told me I would be fine! Actually, one of the guys is running both the half and the full. :scared1: Anyway, after trying on about 6 pairs, walking/jogging in all of them. Trying two different ones on at the same time, I finally picked me a pair! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: They are kind of flashy, which I don't care for, but they are comfy! Let me just say, that I spent some of my Disney spending money on these babies, so dd and I may be eating nabs for lunch in the parks. :rolleyes1

Winkers - so sorry about the fall. Take care and rest.

Oh, and Sparkie, my friend that teaches Sunday school with me got me to sign up for the Scale back Alabama challenge. So I'll be weighing in on Monday morning. In a private room with just the SBA officials, so no one else will see that number. ;) Good luck to you! Now I just have to lose at least 10 lbs. in 10 weeks to be in the drawing for $1000! :yay: (that would sure help pay for my shoes, and what I blow at disney. ;) )

Good use of that new word Melinda!! :rotfl:

Ooops, it double posted for some reason.

Is anyone else feeling as lazy as I am today? Still in PJs...

aldisneygirl

:cool1: Ready, Set, Go!!! :cool1:

Weighing in on Monday too! Glad you could get a group together.

I need to vent - I'm ready to dive into the chocolate-

everything that can go wrong IS GOING WRONG!

money - overdrawn at the bank (automatic withdrawl gone very bad)
DVC - renting points - we dont have ANY paperwork - I cant call to make sure we are in magical express - I can wait till 48 hrs before arrival and call and check tho...

I just want to go back to bed and cry. I HATE not having money!!

Ok then -4

I'm in the same boat as you, it will get better.

He went to his Dr. today. I love his Dr. He doesn't believe Matt has pneumonia and thinks it's being over diagnosed. He believes Matt has an Asthmatic Bronchitis condition going on and he has an ear infection. The ER Dr. said there was fluid. No, it's infected. Dr. Gary, I'll call him, gave Matt prednisone, and inhaler, and told us to keep Matt on the New meds, (Z-pak or Zithromax).

I've already seen a difference. He's asked to eat twice!

I used a different flour yesterday to bread his chicken. I called the company and they assured me there is no egg or peanut used in the facility period.

I called the company that made the new fever reducer medicine we bought him and cleared that. That leaves the Amoxicillin. I'm just going to assume he has developed an allergy to that.

What a whirl wind.:upsidedow

Makes one want to..........diet!

Does he have an egg allergy, Nicholas DS6 just outgrew his egg allergy this year. He did develop asthma though. Right now it's just when he gets sick so I have to watch for coughs and then start the albuterol. Darn ER doctors, yucky them. I'm so glad he's feeling better.

Tomorrow Joshua and I go to Christi's youngest sons birthday party. He turns 2. Her DH called me earlier this week and asked us to attend. They have decided not to continue radiation---her quality of life with the radiation is not good. They did tell her DH that if she does not continue the tumor will come back. She has lost a lot of vision and strength due to the radiation. No one is really saying anything it is just SAD as her DH says. He is in limbo as to where she can go from the hospital. He was hoping that she could go to rehab, but since the very high fever she had because of the radiation she has not regained any strength. So he does not know id rehab will even take her. That fever did A LOT of harm on her body--as he says it just about killed her. He is LOST, but going strong for the boys. Please continue to pray for them. I was not able to visit her earlier --he is hoping that I can go this weekend depending on how she is doing.

How is it that when little boys get a haircut they look so much older!! Joshua was in major need of one lilke a month overdue actually and now he looks do old and CUTE!!

 For you and Christi's family. Yes I do hate when the boys get haircuts and they end up looking 5 years older but cute.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I truley lol and my kids were like what--no what?

I HATE THESE BUGS!!!!! I truley had one on my screen and I ignored it b/c I thought it was just there like all these. Then it started going crazy and moving everywhere--it was just gnat, but still yuck!!!

I hate bugs too.

I haven't had a chance to read what I missed yesterday but I wanted to post my weigh in.I have lost 1.6 lbs.I didn't start until Wednesday morning so I am pleased with the number.:goodvibes Headed out to work, everyone have a great day...

:woohoo:

Does anyone else LOVE infomercials and QVC/Home shopping shows???? I am so entertained by their sales techniques. I get a kick out of QVC's sales people becoming all chummy with their customers at home. VERY funny. NO, I don't buy stuff, except the one time with Bare Minerals (LOVE).

Yes I love informericals and it's even more funnier when my sons repeat them for toys they have seen. I used love watch those Cher ones years ago for hair products.

Guess what? I lost 2 more pounds since yesterday! Yay!
Too bad it just confirms that I can't drink anymore. :(
Oh well.
I'd rather be skinny than tipsy! :lmao:

:woohoo:

I got myself all psyched up yesterday to go sign up at the gym, but first I had to do a load of laundry.......I fell down the stairs! So now I'm confined to bed because I can hardly move.:headache:

Now I have to get myself convinced to go again on monday. I need someone to hold my hand. I have this secret fear that when I walk through the gym doors everyone will bust up laughing.

Oh no, I hope you're ok. And is someone laughs at you, tell me and I will come sit on them. I am 150 lb overweight, and yes I go to a gym and yes sometimes I feel that way. I think most people say good for you for starting. I will tell you Friday I went to the gym as well as Wednesday (:woohoo: yeah for me) and there was finally another fat person there. I was so excited I wasn't the only one.

another thing i don't understand is when i see people circling the parking lot to get a good parking spot. YOU'RE AT THE GYM......WALK A LITTLE FURTHER!!! isn't that the point? sorry.......i'm rambling!

That cracks me up too

here's my tips. not many....it's saturday and my brain doesn't run full speed on weekends!

4. when you need a potato chip fix, get some of those "quakes." they're mini rice cakes and the ranch-flavored ones rock!

I love these. I like the sour cream and onion ones and on WW they are only 1point for 10.

Here's my tip..........

Put the candy bar down and slowly walk away from the kitchen!:)

:lmao:

Ooops, it double posted for some reason.

Is anyone else feeling as lazy as I am today? Still in PJs...

Kat it's 5:01 pm on Sat and I am still in my PJ's :lmao:

Well peeps. As posted up there somewhere I did go to the gym twice this week and walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes, go me. Friday I also did some weights for my arm, biceps, triceps and some other machine that I believe is for your shoulders. You sit on a bench and push the bar up but you are at an angle. The diet is going good but I am having trouble with eating too late breakfast but then if I don't eat lunch I can have some snacks but I don't know it that's a good idea. My tip is to drink your water. I chug down at least 8 oz before I am going to eat and that seems to help. I also have to say do not eat if you're not hungry. I find that if I wait until my belly tells me I'm hungry rather than the clock I tend to eat less and that's why I'm eating breakfast so late. Anyway DD2 is crying because DS6 won't let her in the room to play. Talk to you guys tomorrow. My nephews and niece are sleeping over tonight so I won't be able to go on DIS tonight :scared1:

Laura :flower3:

Ok, I'm back from my run. Am I the only one that is dysfunctional when it comes to electronic devices? :headache: At 17:00, I was trying to see how far I had run, and I accidentally hit the wrong button and reset the GPS! :scared1: So, what did I do, I turned around and ran where I had been. :rotfl2: Then at 17:00, I looked at the distance and multiplied by 2. :teacher: Then I went the rest of the way home. WELL...................

After weeks of not really training I was able to go 2.95 miles in 40:30!!!!:cool1: :yay: And...............my knee has NO pain at all!! These new shoes are keepers! :thumbsup2 I have to run 3.1 miles in less than 45 minutes. It is attainable now!

Last Try Fo Reals...........

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

WOOT! WOOT!

it's always the last time you try...;)

Is anyone else feeling as lazy as I am today? Still in PJs...

i've been putting my dining room back in order (after taking all my christmas decorations down a few days ago) and was still in my PJs when ray was like, "can we please go to the grocery store???" he had been waiting on me to get ready all day. :rolleyes1

I love these. I like the sour cream and onion ones and on WW they are only 1point for 10.

sour cream and onion????? i didn't know they had these! the only kind i've ever seen is cheddar, ranch and apple cinnamon. i'll have to see if i can special order them at the grocery store. i LOVE sour cream and onion flavor.

well, i made some good choices at the store. they had chicken on sale for $1.99/pound so we got 2 packages and ray's making fajitas with them tonight and i'm gonna marinate the rest in lemon pepper marinade for later. his chicken fajitas are SOOOOOOOO good! he cooks the onions in soy sauce and puts this lime stuff on the chicken. i don't eat sour cream and i go light on my cheese so it's actually not bad on the calorie count either. i also got some of those new healthy choice steamers - chicken margherita and chicken marinara. i don't usually buy health choice brand but those looked good. i also got some brown rice to sub as sides instead of other high-calorie stuff this week for dinner.

hope everyone had a great saturday! :flower3:

awesome!!!!! :thumbsup2 you're gonna kill that 5K!

wOOT wOOT, Melinda! You're da man! er, You Rock!

Allie- I want flashy running shoes! I swear if they had light up princess ones like Norah's, I'd be all over them. I'm glad your knee feels good when you run in them. Worth the small fortune.

Uh ohhhh. A biggie post count Woo Hooty is coming up very very soon too.

Hmmmm, I'm going to add another tip.

If you do do (get it? DOO DOO????:lmao: :lmao: ) the fiber thing on thursday, like pooh muffins, fiber one cereal, broccoli, dried apricots (better than ex-lax!) then drink tons of water too. Or else you'll be constipated just before weigh day. Which BLOWS! (Get it? BLOWS! :rotfl2: ) Can you tell I have 4 males in my family????

I'm off to read DisneyObsession's TR!!!!!

But I'll be in the rafters waiting to swoop down in a stealth ninja Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon move to snag the woo hooty post...

Where you holding the laundry basket and the clothes went all flying? Or did you do sommersaults down the stairs? Or do you do like me and it's butt butt butt all the way down?

Just curious?

At the same time, I'm sorry, I know how that feels. Trust me!

. i don't eat sour cream

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

That's perposterous! Doesn't like sour cream. If SB didn't allow sour cream, I wouldn't be following this plan.

WOOT WOOT MELINDA.

My hallway is primed!

Matt has a very serious egg allergy. Someone asked and I thought I quoted.

I can up you... it is 6:46PM and I am still in PJs. I do plan on getting in the hot tub in a few min, which will mean at least changing PJs when I get out. Does that count?

Hey D, can you send some of those fajitas up north please??

Come On 22500!!!!

The winner gets a free pass at weigh in!

Which is worth like a "hunerd bucks" (I love the word hunerd!)

Good Luck Peeps!

dried apricots (better than ex-lax!)

i tried those and they didn't work for me. yep, you read that right. no "action" whatsoever. i have a very stubborn bowel. (<--- that sounds really gross!)

Or do you do like me and it's butt butt butt all the way down?

me too.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

That's perposterous! Doesn't like sour cream. If SB didn't allow sour cream, I wouldn't be following this plan.

i've never liked anything creamy - sour cream, ranch, mayo, etc. it's a blessing in disguise because i don't miss that stuff when dieting but it's a pain because EVERYTHING comes with that kinda stuff on it!

Hey D, can you send some of those fajitas up north please??

i ate sooooooooooo many onions (very LOW in calories!) and now i'm not feeling too good! but i couldn't help it - they're so good!

I was worried about something someone said to me once, and my friend's DH said, Just tell them, "Kiss my :eeyore: ". Now I wouldn't really say that, but when someone doesn't mind their own business or judges me, I think it. So if anyone did have the gall to laugh, ...:rolleyes1

Last Try Fo Reals...........

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

WOOT! WOOT!

WTG, girl!

Again, I say WTG!

My advice: keep lots of measuring tools handy in the kitchen, and learn what portion sizes are, so you have some control when you go out. When I gained the biggest amount of weight, I measured what I normally ate, like a bowl of cereal, and found and I was eating 3 times the serving size.

Hey, I got 22,500! If you look back at the birthday list, mine is 2/25, so that's kind of a lucky number for me.
