DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

It's a great Friday. I am -2 lbs which means I'm almost halfway to my Thanksgiving goal. On top of that, I'm wearing a size 10 pair of pants at work today for the first time since before I got sick. Zippity-doo, it sure feels good. This week I began walking 2 2 mile walks per day (one in morning and one after work) and I think that made the difference. Plus I have no problem getting in all of my daily water because I love water and that's all I drink, even when I'm not dieting.

And to make my day even better, today was the 90 day window for me to call and try to get an Illuminations cruise for our January trip. I got it!!!! My cousin and her DH have never been to WDW and I wanted to do something special for them and I just can't believe I got it. I hate to get up at 3:30 am here in CA to be ready to call for WDW's 7:00 am start but it was worth the sacrifice (I wouldn't be saying that if I hadn't gotten one of the boats).

Great Friday to all.

i'm + 1 pound today. keeps me humble, i guess. i didn't exercise AT ALL this week because anna's been gone and that means no classes. plus i've been busy typing so i won't have to do any this weekend. it's my own fault! oh, well.....just motivates me to work harder next week!

congrats to all the losers and samers! and hang in there to everyone else. YOU CAN DO IT!!! :cheer2:

Any rain there yet?

it's gloomy and cloudy here today....but no real rain. just a mist every now and then. i think it rained last night though. it needs to rain every day for the next month to get our water levels back to normal though! anna just called me from destin and it's raining there right now. the weather forecast for tomorrow looks good though!

Yes, I'll :wave2: as you go by! The weather is beautiful over here today! It should make for a nice :drive:

i'll wave too!! :) i'm glad it's pretty there.....hopefully it will be better than here while we're driving. although we need the rain desperately....i shouldn't complain!

my tires need replacing VERY BADLY. the inside of them is separating because the alignment is all messed up. we have very rough roads out here in the country and the alignment can get out of whack very easily. i didn't know this until i took my car in to have the oil changed this morning and they showed me. the place doesn't even sell tires so they weren't trying to scam me or anything. kinda scary!. anyway, we're taking DH's car instead.

i'll see you guys on sunday night! have a good weekend! :flower3:

All right, here's the lastest after our morning weigh-ins.

I'll update this sometime this afternoon after we get more numbers.

Lynda - I didn't know how you wanted to be recorded, so I just left you blank for now.

Hi guys...

This is my first time posting my numbers for Weigh Day. This week has been a rough week for me, I fell off the wagon for a few days. I've somehow managed to grab hold of the wagon, but I'm still trying to climb up...

So, consequently I am +1 pound

I WAS up 3 pounds, but thankfully I have gotten rid of 2 of those, so it's now just 1 pound, which is manageable, I think. Especially considering how I've behaved (with food) this week...

Oh yeah, I realized I didn't post my 3 "good" foods:

3. Baby Carrots/peanuts (not TOGETHER... they are just a tie)
2. Applesauce snack cup
1. Vanilla pudding snack cup w/a lil whipped cream

Have a great day everyone!

So I am sitting here exercising and dissing (leg lifts) and I scroll down and see......... the GIANT goal spread sheet!!!!!!   I am scared now, it's like official looking and everything!!!!Oh no!!!! Because now I feel TERRIBLE because I am a SAMER!!!. Well, talk about a motivator!! I am NOT going to have the same weight next week. Really, thanks WI-DISNEYFAN, you are very inspiring and I really needed this. Guilt is good! I will not cheat this weekend, I will not cheat this weekend, I will not cheat this weekend. That is my downfall. I totally agree on losing the same weight over and over. If I just STICK with it, even a half pound a week adds up! O.k., I'm done, back to exercising.

Me too. Here. Hop on. :moped:

Ok, it's more of a moped than a wagon, but that counts.

YAY! for the "losers" and the samers. And the gainers? I'm sailing along in the same boat as you. :boat: We'll do great next week!

Thanks to everyone on all of the water suggestions. I had a pleasant little discovery this morning after posting that! I had bought a new Rubbermaid 'sippy' container this week (the kind with the straw that pops up) because the BF keeps using all of the others for his protein shakes. I had been filling it up with water and trying to get through two a day for what I thought would be 2/3 of my necessary water intake. Well, today I made Crystal Lite in it and thought it tasted a little watered down.

Come to find out, it was! Because it's a 32oz bottle, not a 20oz one. So I've been getting a little more water in than I thought.

Also, I think taking it into meetings with me will be good, as I also discovered this morning. Whenever I feel the urge to respond to someone's unfounded, petty and ridiculous comments/arguments, etc., I just take a sip of water instead. :rotfl:

Aaah...my Excel-happy Peep friend, that ROCKS! Thanks again for tracking all of this! Now to work on getting that number DOWN instead of up!

I'm +1.6 this week. Oh well, it motivates me. :thumbsup2

Cool spread sheet Aaron. :)

Wendy, awesome on the weight loss. :thumbsup2 You look like a completely different person.

WHAT???? Another peep is a Nascar fan too. OMG. Me too, me too. I hope you have a wonderful time and I wish I was there with you. I'm sooooo envious. Gosh, if I lived on the right coast, I would be dragging poor DH to as many races as possible (he thinks Nascar races provide a great time to take a nap). I can't wait to hear about your little trip when you get back.

I love NASCAR. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon, followed by Jimmie Johnson, and then any of the other Hendrick drivers. :thumbsup2 Who is your favorite? I can't imagine living on the west coast and not being able to go to the tracks that we go to. Kentucky is surrounded by awesome tracks that are within a one-day drive. BTW, Qualifying comes on at 3:30 et on ESPN2. Have a great day.

I'm still a Samer. Gotta kick this plateau and move on down the scale. Intellectually I know that I need to exercise more... need motivation!!

All right, here's the lastest after our morning weigh-ins.

wow.....you're on top of things!!! thank goodness for that high school (or college) course that taught us those infamous =SUM formulas for excel freaks!

i'm sitting here waiting for ray to get home so we can leave. ray was supposed to get off around lunchtime but one of the top analysts (he works for a stock market analysis firm) had a computer crash and now ray's gotta fix it before he leaves. I HATE WAITING. :headache:

I am at -.4, which is yesterday's weighin. I did not have a chance to weigh in this morning. Nothing much but still better than gaining, I guess.

Good morning Peeps!

As expected, the scale went up this morning +1.8. But I had prepared myself for that and wasn't surprised. And the gain isn't too bad. And I'm back on track. I'm also starting a new gym regimen on Monday, so that should help too. I'm looking forward to it.

So I have a question - how do you all get your water in every day? I have a tough time getting all 8 glasses (and then some, if it's a gym day) in. I have to have my water very cold and after a while it gives me a belly ache. (And need for a catheter...or a move of my desk into the handicap stall in the Ladies Room!)

I do try to get at least those 3-4 glasses of water in, but try to drink non-caffeinated, no-sugar beverages for the other 4-5 glasses.

I drink Crystal Lite, but find that gets old pretty quickly. I limit myself to one glass of reduced-sugar juice a day.

Right now I'm on an herbal tea kick. They're all decaf white teas in a ton of different flavors - the Twining's Straberry Mango I bought in Epcot a couple of trips back is my favorite. It's such a treat (and free!), especially now that the New England winter is in sight. (Shoo! Shoo! Go away winter!) I just don't know what else to try if this gets old too.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

:flower3:

I hate water... I just get a 32 oz bottle, fill it with lukewarm water, and chug it. I consider it "diet medicine" and so choke it down like I would Nyquil w/ a cold (except in MUCH bigger quantities).

Only 4 more hours to go...

I am about 90 pounds under this "Before" picture and 40 pounds above this "after" picture. I got pregnant with Norah and gained the 40 pounds I've been stuck at for 3 years.....
WOW!!! Good for you Wendy! I really want to take a before pic now so i can someday) get wowwed by my self! :thumbsup2

i'll see you guys on sunday night! have a good weekend! :flower3:
Have a great time Dawn!! Take lots of pics for us! :)

All right, here's the lastest after our morning weigh-ins.

Muahahhahah...SNEAKY water consumption..the best kind! ;)

Down 5 pds (i am really liking this tooth diet;) actually i hate all this pain:eek: but weight wise it is pretty cool .
i have not been able to eat sweets (:sad1: and everything i can eat is soft and easy to chew(so mostly soup and bread )that is my weight loss secret:laughing: so my total weight is almost 40 pds so far . i would put my ribbon on but am afraid too because of the siggie police, :confused3
well today is the day i have alot to pack and load into the car once DH gets back from work . i had to take him to work this morning so he could go pick up the rental van and i am exhausted my kids are still asleep so i am gonna take a power nap be back later. have a skinny day,:goodvibes
Have a great trip!!

I hate it when I go in for one thing and come out with a list that needs to be replaced. That happened on my van--went to get oitl changed and the guy had me come look at my tires---you could see how bad they were--all because of the alignment. Have a safe trip.
All right, here's the lastest after our morning weigh-ins.

I am majorly impressed!! I hope that I can make my goal.

Thanks for the game---I got 56 and that was not using a mouse just he touchpad. I could get addicted to it.

Well I have to venture out to Wal Mart or Target and then get DS to a boy scout jamboree. SO tonight it is just me and the other 3 kids. DH is working this weekend.

Unfortunately, I'm one of the hordes of Junior fans. But good news, we'll be teammates next year. And the best best news of all is that Shrub is leaving Hendricks. He is my least favorite driver and I cheer for him to DNF as much as I cheer for Junior to head to the front (hasn't been much to cheer about lately--that's for sure).

Yes, I do wish I lived somewhere where we could go to some of the more fun races. I would love to go to Talladega (my favorite track) but since DH is not a fan, I just don't see it happening. In the meantime, I know the SPEED channel number by heart. Wish I had been a huge fan back when I lived in the South and the Midwest but I really only came into the sport about 15 years ago and by then I was a west-coaster.

Here's update #2 for today. (Sometimes being a nerd comes in handy.)

PeepGoals2.jpg

I'll get everyone else Monday morning, as I'll be out of town (and sadly probably gaining back my 1.6 lb loss) this weekend. Have a great weekend everybody!

I can't officially contribute to the weigh in because my running weight is on my other computer -
but I'm at 214!!! which is a total of 105 lost. and the smallest I've been since I was like in 3rd grade. :lmao:

Great job celery!!

WI... wow. And have a great weekend away!

I just renewed my WDW annual pass... SOCK! to the bank account. It makes sense for me though, as I already have trips in Nov, Jan, and May booked and we will likely do Sept again...

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
