DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

I have a question.....Have you guys all been in this board from the beginning and know each other????? I feel like the new kid at school and I'm not quite sure how to "join" in. I'm one of those people who is fairly quiet until you get to know me and then I don't shut up. Is there any advice from any of you who joined up in the middle like I'm trying to do?

some of the peeps have been around since the beginning and others have joined since. i joined in march. basically you just have to jump right in and start talking! this thread normally moves pretty fast (some of the peeps are in WDW right now so it's not moving as fast as normal) so it's sometimes hard to keep up. you'll eventually come to know everyone, believe it or not! WELCOME!!!

I've been on since the beginning, but took an extended break this summer. We will get rolling again once the threadmuther UM gets back from Disney. These are very supportive people on this thread. There are no "outsiders" in this group. Just keep posting, so we get to know more about you. We will celebrate your successes and help you through your struggles. Just ask for whatever it is you need, and we will provide.

REBEKAH HAS ARRIVED!

I talked to Heather a little while ago. She had Rebekah at about 3:00 this afternoon. Mom and daughter are doing great. She weighs 7lb. 9oz. and she is 20 in. long. Heather said it was a long day and she had problems with the epidural - she definitely did not get her money's worth! I am going to try and go by there tomorrow. I have another MRI in the morning to try and figure out my headaches. One of the reasons I have been so out of touch. I hope everyone is doing well! Was there ever a Peeps meet? Did I miss all that?

I joined sometime in January I think. So not the very beginning. I'm like you...shy in the beginning but then you can't shut me up after awhile. I just replied to people more and more and kept talking about myself so the peeps could sort of get to know me. Which sometimes I think I do too much of. So my advice...chat away!

Allie: Thanks for the 5K info. I thought about it all night and told DH when I start working out again next month it's to train for a 5K. Woo Woo Woo.

I can't even remember when i jumped in, i know it wasn't at the beginning though..but i do know that i am very happy i did!

Yay! I just ordered my MVMCP tickets for our trip and made our traditional last day character breakfast at the Beach Club. I've been so busy that I actually am forgetting that I will be going to WDW in a few months. Even thought it will only be 2 days, it will be great to get away.

Yes I did MVMCP in 2005 I think it was. It was really fun...again took the niece and nephew. With the special events, we just like to take advantage of the special party activities as opposed to the rides, like the fireworks, stage shows, parade, dance parties for the kids, etc. And if we get a couple rides in, great. I think some are more crowded than others. If I remember correctly, you are going the week before me. Is your party on a weekend or weeknight? That might make a difference. It may seem crowded, but I doubt it would be as bad as the crowds during a busy day at the parks. And if you stay after the fireworks, I've heard that you will have the park to yourself pretty much, so stay late! So that is my roundabout way of telling you I don't know if it is usually super crowded. But I'm very excited about going!


Heading into to work late today All but one of my clients cancelled so I don't have anything until 3:30. I decided to just stay home and work on some eval reports since I can't do that at work anyway. It does stink that I have to drive a half hour there and a half hour back home for just 30 min of therapy, but oh well. And I don't have school tonight because we had a take home final so I don't even have to rush down to school after my client. It's gonna be a good Monday.

You at least need to tell us about the food you ate! I still have notes from my trip last January - maybe one day I will get around to the trip report... Today I am writing the rest of my 30ish page research paper. Can't wait to hear about the peep meet. Hope you guys post lots of pictures.

Hello All!!!

It's been a long weekend here, but I am back to work. This head cold is really kicking my butt and leaving me with no energy. It was hard getting ready for work this morning. When I finally was ready to go, I just wanted to lay down and go back to sleep! Unfortunately I couldn't!

Stacey...i hope they find the cause of your headaches. I suffer from migraines and understand completely.

Shannon...I am going to MVMCP on Nov 12th, the night it starts! I am very excited and am hoping since it's the first night that there aren't too many "bugs" to work out with it! This is my first time going!

Thank you very much to all who reached out and sent prayers and warm thoughts for my meeting today. It went well, I was recommended for approval without probation. I was nervous for nothing but I had read a lot of case reviews that hadn't gone nearly as well as mine did.

Well, I'm in the last few days before our Ren Faire so I might not be around much this week. After that, I have no major plans so I'll have lots of free time. TTYL!

We did MVMCP in 2005 too!!!! We went on a weeknight, I think it was Thursday but I can't remember for sure. It was very crowded right at the opening with everyone cramming down Main Street all at once but after we got past Main Street, it was a moderate crowd. We rode rides during the first parade, based on advice that the second parade would be much lighter. The rides were not too crowded during the first parade--I remember riding Buzz Lightyear back to back because there was no line. We watched second parade and had front row seats for that--it was amazing. We stayed until it closed because DH and I were having so much fun.
