It's COLD here in Michigan! I am currently wearing jeans and a sweater. I frankly can't wait for sweaters. They leave a little more to the imagination that light t-shirts. (Plus, when you wear jeans you don't have to shave your legs as much! Sorry, TMI.) The wonderful thing about colder weather is it makes me want to walk and walk and walk. I don't get hot and sweat and want to stop. So, count your blessings...
I did watch part of "The Biggest Loser" last night. That Jillian...she just seems to have a mean spirit, doesn't she? And let me say that if you haven't been fat, it's hard to understand how much of a challenge it is for those of us who are or who have been there. Not that these trainers are there to coddle, sympathize, or act as psychologist. I almost fell off the bed when what's-her-finger (the smallest gal on the blue team) lost, like, 22 pounds in a week. Then, I actually DID fall off the bed when the older man on the blue team lost 31 pounds - in ONE WEEK! Too bad I have to live a real life or I'd break loose and work out constantly, after hiring a professional chef to create delicious low-cal meals for me.
And Utahmama - enjoy your last day in the 30s! I'm willing to bet it doesn't feel TOO much different to be 40, but then again, I'm not there yet either. Will you tell us?

The only thing she will eat is cold sandwich meat and ice water.
She seems to have a light case so far.
I am working out 3x's a week, eating well and this week the scale isn't moving! I really need it to move! I'm not eating carbs, just protein & veggies for the most part. The only thing I didn't give up is my FF hazelnut creamer in my coffee. I'm addicted! I have 8 1/2 more weeks until I leave for Disney and have a pair of capris I really want to wear while I'm there! I know it will budge, but I'm just frustrated today. <vent over>
She seemed to have no energy whatsoever and wasn't even that entertaining. I really feel sorry for her, as she has just wasted her talent.
