i started yesterday.......YIPPEE!!!!!!

i found out today that they're discontinuing my favorite jeans at maurices... that always happens to me. i struggle to find jeans that fit me the right way and find some and then they discontinue them. these are the only ones that fit my butt while not completely hanging off my back. *and* they run INSANELY big to make you feel INSANELY small!!!!! you wouldn't believe the size i bought today. i'm not posting it here because it's too unbelievable. i think they're mis-labeled!

That is so cool! DH and I went to NYC this summer, and walked by that TGI Fridays so many times, I lost count. I will want to see it for the scenery as well as the story. Good luck packing!

Hi Peeps,

Finally home. Mondays just stink. Speech and hearing screenings this morning, clients in the afternoon and then class for 3 hours. The boy gave his presentation tonight (I go next week). Good, but he had way too many notes on his powerpoint slides . Things were "normal" between us. A hello, smile...same old thing.

And I'm sick. I felt a sore throat coming on this afternoon, but I thought my throat was just dry until a couple hours later when the aches and stuffy head feeling started and the sore throat got worse. I feel like pooh. Is it bad that I'm hoping I still feel like pooh in the morning so I can call in sick to work? Seriously though, I hate going to work when I'm not quite sick enough to stay home but not healthy enough to be feeling 100%.

Hope everyone had a great day. I should have multi quoted, but I didn't. I do remember pigget saying she gets about 3 hours of sleep a night. I would not be able to function. Maybe when you become a mom you can do stuff like that? Like touch hot baked potatoes with bare hands?

oh and I spoke to my supervisor regarding that client of mine that didn't qualify for language therapy (even though he needs it). She wasn't all that surprised and said that we will just have to recommend frequent monitoring. So that went well.

Oh and it is so cute and funny how excited preschoolers get when you tell them they have a very important job - to wear special headphones, listen for the "birdies" and tell me when they hear them. AKA take a hearing screening So cute! Except for the one little boy who was afraid of me. He wouldn't even come near the table, the poor thing. I gave up trying to give it to him. They'll just get him on the next one I guess. He even backed away from me when I went in the other room where he was having the speech screen done. Has anyone seen Return to Oz? I feel like the crazy nurse in that movie whenever I put the headphones on these kids. When they are going to give Dorothy electric shock therapy? Please tell me someone has seen this movie...Tick Tock, the Wheelies?

considering that i moved out of the house and to georgia when i was 21 and we didn't get married until i was 25 and lived together that entire time, i'm pretty sure they have their suspicions!

me and erin are leaving friday afternoon. i'm not sure what time tara's flight leaves, but i know she arrives in orlando around 11 friday night. and i'm doing a TR....link's in my siggie. i can't remember if you've subbed yet or not.

Good Morning PEEPS!!

well of course its a little early - dh is home, so I'm up early - too many things to think about - I'll crash in about an hour!!

Early Today show just did a weather segment - apparantly there's a lot of rain on the coast of Florida, due to a low pressure system stalled - Orlando isnt getting as much rain as Jackonsville, and Cape Canaveral - but a lot of rain is forecast for this week!!

WEll, make today a skinny day.

It may sound like old hat - but get your water in, get your 30 min of walking in... take care of YOU today!

GOOD MORNING, PEEPS!

Long day of buying ponchos and glow sticks yesterday. Took DD to the ortho at 8:30 and they wouldn't see us because our regular dr. wasn't there so I worked/shopped all day, picked up kids went back to the dr. at 3:30.

Dr. says DD's shoulder is NOT broken! She has to remain in the sling til she is pain free and they gave her some exercises to do.

Since today is her birthday and I couldn't get the present she wanted, we went shopping and didn't get home til 7:30! Time for bath, homework, bed.

There's my yesterday in a nutshell. Aren't you thrilled!

So today will be cleaning house, washing clothes and cooking birthday dinner. I'm hoping she wants sushi or sumpn.

Punkin and Lynda....I must get caught up on your TRs since I may get to make a cameo appearance some time soonish!

Sandy....Go back to bed! Did you ever hear from Fidge?

Busy - buy more ponchos!! I'm trying to locate dd Mickey Mouse poncho - she's never used it!!! she takes it everywhere tho!!

I'm hoping to do laundry today, and buy more flimsly ponchos - not sure, maybe just use what we have - that low pressure system looks like heavy rains possible... BE PREPARED is too ingrained!!

We leave friday morning around 6am I havent started a TR yet, I may when we get back if there seems like a story to tell. Hard to say what kind of a trip it s going to be with just me and a 4 yr old.

Hey, that is what I did yesterday! Ponchos and glow sticks! Now with Sandys weather update I am wondering if I should get more of the cheapie ones or invest in a better one The dollar store ones I got this time we also had last year. Sort of felt like Saran wrap, but did the job....BUT if we are talking heavy rains I may want something better. Decisions, decisions.

i stepped on the scale this morning and it said 181. considering that it said 132 two days ago, you can imagine my reaction...... geez....i only took one bite of that white chocolate caramel bear claw!!!!! actually my scale just had to reset itself.

I have that same problem! I am convinced my scale is from a joke shop! It's making me neurotic. I just never know what it's going to show!!!!! The sad thing is, it's accurate! Must be someone has a voodoo doll of me and they randomly take out it's stuffing and add more and more! Ya, that's it.

Melinda glad that DD is not truely injured--I am sure it hurts just the same. Happy Birthdya to her as well.

UPDATE ON RYAN---all blood work came back great--some of the labs will nt be back until tomorrow or THurs. Still pray for them ---- he has so much steroids in his body it is beginning to take a toll on his personality.

I had to go to the hospital last night and was monitired for 3 hours. At work I noticed my leg was swelling, but not my foot. It was also getting red blotches and hurting really bad. We have a history of blood clots in my family so I called the Doc. of course after 5 so I had to go to ER When I got there they told me since I was not having contractions I would have to wait and see the triage nurse. So I waited and guess what--started having major contractions. When the contractions started the triage nurse said (without me telling her anything) she is 36 weeks and needs to go up to the floor). SO I went up and they monitired me--had contractions every 2-3 minutes for almot 3 hours and then they stopped. Off and on again until midnight then a little today. THey did an ultrasound of my leg and did not find anything and really have no clue why it is swollen, hurting, and blotchy. I go see my reg. Dr. today---hopefully he can shed some light on this. ISo last night I think I got all of 2 hours sleep coombined. I will keep you guys updated.
