PD, can I just piggyback on your goals for the week? Thanks, you're a pal!
Sandy, I have a secret pumpkin pie recipe, too. But mine has tofu, no Eagle Brand. I bet yours tastes better. I do use Eagle Brand for my lemon meringue pie. It is mmmmm-good! I'm afraid to know the calories on that puppy, though.
Absolutely! It will be good to have such a dear friend to hang out with!

I know I can drink more water... I'm going to try and use weights (5#) to do lunges and arm stuffs... maybe gtry and do some sit ups!

the 3 Goal idea! Here are mine...
hope you all had a very happy thanksgiving!!!! i'm tired from all the visiting i've been doing. that and i went to a vanderbilt football game today and froze my butt off in sleet while watching my team get clobbered. but the good part is i had a DIS meet. vandyfan10 had told me she'd be at the game and she ended up sitting with us.......she's super cool!
i'll be back tomorrow night to do a little catch-up......see you then!
. I decided not to panic. My sister called and asked me if I wanted to go to the outlet stores, so I said yes. I ate a south beach peanut butter bar before we left, since my sisters are notorious for shopping till they drop. We went to Chico's, but even at the outlet, everything I liked was too much ($80 for a work skirt? no thanks) We went to Coldwater Creek, and I loved EVERYTHING! I really rarely buy clothes (my sister was teasing me because I just threw out a long sleeve t-shirt that was thirty years old), so my husband sent me with specific instructions to buy myself some clothes. I bought 4 skirts, 1 t-shirt, 1 jacket that went really well with one of the skirts, and a black outfit with pants, a camisole, and a floral, see-through poncho/shirt type cover. Everything was 40% off today, so I ended up spending $160. I thought that was pretty good. I also got some Corningware dishes at their outlet store. That was a good thing, as my previous microwavable dishes were some that I rescued when my sister was throwing them away 20 years ago.
. We went to Fresh Choice today, and I tried to be good, but I felt like I blew it somewhat. Since you and I agreed to track our calories, I went to their website and looked up everything I ate. My total calories for today was 1605. That's 100 calories under my upper calorie limit, so I'm OK. If I hadn't tracked that, I might have gone into a tailspin like I have before, thinking that I never have any control, and who knows where the damage would end. So hurray for tracking calories!
