My DH got a shot and prescription for muscle relaxants. So far, it has made a *tiny* difference. He is able to get up and slowly limp to the bathroom and that is about it. The dr said just rest, use heatpacks, a hand-held massager, and the muscle relaxants. The trip is 3 days away
In the meantime, DD4 has developed a fever. I was up every 4 hrs last night giving Tylenol and 4 hrs on the dot she was burning up again. DD6 has a cough, but not too bad. DDog is still barfing and required two baths and a carpet cleaner last night. Did I mention the trip is 3 days away?![]()
On a positive note, I ate really well yesterday! I stopped at McDonald's on the way home to pick up dinner for the kids and DH and got myself....nothing! I threw a veggie burger and left over string beans in the mic for myself![]()
to everyone!
Jo, love your family - the girls are as cute as can be!
denecarter, thanks for the bicarb tip! I've never heard of that before, but I sure will try it.
Ok I'm thinking it's great that your family is getting all this sick nonsense over before your trip. This way everyone will be better when you go and you'll be able to enjoy yourself. Please make sure that you take vitamin c so you stay healthy! Moms are prohibited from being sick for some reason!

to everyone!
Think it'll work???
Just keep telling yourself, that you can't have 'ups' in life without the 'downs'. Somehow, it will all work out, and
I don't know if I could have been as strong as you! I LOVE chinese food.
(and every other kind of food, for that matter... sigh...) I've been wanting to order take-out Chinese all week since the DH is away on business, but I've resisted the temptation so far.
---something I've never seen before...and, of course, the mountain of rice, etc. I also just discovered the white sauce they offer is actually made of mayonnaise--not an authentic Japanese item, as I suspected.
... the thing has at least 40 Klondike bars leftover from a student reward thing.
Not only did the website claim they came from the UK, they claimed to be the UK's FAVORITE!

so jealous) and they love to cruise especially with Celebrity!! We cruised with Princess for our honeymoon, but Grand Cayman was far and away our favorite stop . . . it's so beautiful!! Our excursion was a snorkel and sting ray swim which was so cool, we even bought a DVD of it!! Although my favorite part was the thermal suite at our ship's spa, which I think the Century calls the Persian Garden, they have heated stone loungers, with aromatherapy steam rooms and saunas. You had to buy a pass for the week but it was soooo nice to go there and relax everyday before dinner. Feel free to ask me any questions about cruising, I love to plan vacations and have probably done a little bit too much research!!
Little by little, but esp. in the past year (which has had multiple stresses inc. 2 family deaths), it's come back on and maybe even a couple pounds more. My 16s are feeling snug again.
Take me too! We just got home from an AWESOME Christmas trip at BWV! I'm writing a TR about it now...

Im already on my way...so sorry someone help SOrul up please!!! I am out the door!!!!
