Ok, even another reason not to put DD on a plane. I would be so embarrassed if they asked us to leave the plane since DD is
8!
You are not kidding, I cannot take my TEN year old to a dentist due to her outrageous screams, and just for him to look at her blasted teeth, not even to clean them... they told us we were upsetting his patients, and to leave now please.... and to have her sedated next time... our last trip home from Disney included a 11 hour or so plane ride from h e double hockey sticks and she threw up 9 times, dont tell me we wont have a nail biter on our next ride1!! <eye roll> <sad>
Yes, you make perfect sense. I have two kids and I have two dogs. If you can train your puppy, kids will be a breeze. I watch the Dog Whisperer and he makes it look so easy, but I fail with the dogs so much of the time.

I am getting better though. Actually, I think a lot of the processes you go through to train a dog, would transfer over to children.

I hope that didn't sound flip. I really mean that. It takes a lot of dedication, and I think you will prove to DH that you
CAN handle and juggle everything, and then his heart will melt like buttah.
I can relate to the name thing. Mine has been misspelled my whole life. That is why I named my kids with "regular" names, and common spellings.
Sorry about the miss spellings, my maiden name sounds like a simple word with an added vowel, but no one ever pronounces it right - my last name now I just post it on the boards phoenetically - it really stuns the adults how simple it is!!
Ok teacher, I have a question.? Is it ok to eat the flaxseed meal every day?
DH does, I have no worries in that department, so I'm not messin with what already works like a breeze... *wink *wink
I had a Kashi frozen meal tonight for dinner, and I sprinkled two tablespoons on top of it. I didn't eat it all (not because of the flaxseed). I didn't like the kind of Kashi meal (Lemongrass Coconut Chicken). DS asked why do you keep eating it if it tastes bad? I told him because it is healthy and good for me. He shook his head and said how can it be good for you when you have such a bad look on your face?

How did that kid get so smart?
Gotta luv the truth - my cousin went with the Seattle Sutton Healthy Dinners (think like Jenny craig/Nutrasystem, but fresh food) You dont get to pick and chose, they just drop off a weeks worth of food - - she said the same thing, gave up after a week!! so not worth it, eating is my pleasure...
On the way to DS hockey practice tonight I drank part of my 32 oz. of water (I had already had 32 oz. earlier in the day). I wanted to "wash" the flaxseed through.

Well, there was an accident on the way there. I kept drinking while sitting in traffic. I drink better when I am "mindlessly" drinking. It is better than "mindlessly" eating.

Well, as I got closer to the accident, I realized that the water has to go through at some point. Well, that point was about to be reached.

I had to do the "pee pee wiggle dance" in the car. I made it to the ice rink just in time.

Note to self, don't mindlessly drink during traffic. You might have an "accident" yourself.
