aaaaaaaack - hard to concentrate, dd is ten going on 15! The crying, the yelling, the crying, the yelling, I'm a liar, I'm the worst mom, I was right she is horrible on the saxaphone (of course I didnt say that) I'll never make it...

Lessons dd tried to tell me "Parents are wrong you know" and I said "what should parents know about kids' Parents need to know that kids are not manipulative, they are not drama (and at those words, she grinned and said, well maybe a little.."

she is watching TV, I swear I am the worst mom, I need her to watch TV and bea TV Zombie girl... I cant take it otherwise...

oh, did I mention dh is working late this week??

I agree I have a 12 year old going on 20 and a 10 year old going on 15!! Never know when they are gonna BLOW!!!

Oh, and did I mention... Grumpy left today to teach the fine arts of selling services in Kiosks around the country..

Allie - Where in Alabama do you live? DH was born in Gadsden. Apprentice already started? How much have I missed? 24 started while we were in Disney too, but we rented it and caught up! Where is your pic?

I am a Lost, 24, and Top Chef addict. We also love American Idol and the Apprentice.

I live in N. Alabama, outside of Huntsville. I think Apprentice has only been on two or three weeks. The girl this week just up and quit. I think it is ridiculous to go through what you have to to get on the show, to then turn around and quit.

I don't know how to do the pic thing. Maybe I can try and figure that out? I know you go to photobucket, but I haven't downloaded that yet. Can I upload pics from my computer to that? I just think it is beyond my talent pool.

Yes this is how I know I am in the south... Tea is SWEET!! I HATE Sugar in my tea... And I am a tea snob.. has to be fresh brewed with lemon, no sugar or sweetner... also they call it ICE tea for a reason.. major pet peeve, tea in a restaurant and they bring it to the table and the ice has melted ant the tea is warm..

Oh I am addicted to . I have always loved Survivor, but the most fun I had watching it was when someone I once worked with was on it... Remember the sting and the guy wanted someone to relieve themselves to help his burning... I KNEW HIM! That was Marques Island.. FUNNY.

Oh I am addicted to . I have always loved Survivor, but the most fun I had watching it was when someone I once worked with was on it... Remember the sting and the guy wanted someone to relieve themselves to help his burning... I KNEW HIM! That was Marques Island.. FUNNY.

Brownies pushing Cookies!!!! And!!!! I bought some sugar free brownie bites! NO THIN MINTS!!!!! Boo-YAH!

For 4 (a serving) it was 120 ish calories. 1 Box. (I'm soooo doomed)

I got to talking to the leader and sh's gonna start up a Daisy troop when HER 2 1/2 yr. old DD is in Kindergarten, and said she'd keep in touch so Norah could join! Norah's gonna be a Daisy Scout in 2 1/2 years! Awwwww!


I'm watching "Gay, Straight, or Taken"! My new waste of time, addiction!

OK had DH take phots and even dare I say did one from the back EEEKKK!! I do not own any shorts so went with clam diggers. DH wsa very kind aobu the whoel thing. Okay, kind of bummed - 24 is on the same time as Heroes! What is a girl to do?

The cupcakes with diet coke thing. Does the coke replace an ingredient in the cupcakes - like oil or something. Or do you just add a can of coke? I am guessing that you should not lather them with chocolate frosting. That is my favorite part.

No sweet tea in Disney. Isn't Florida in the south?

Allie - photobucket is a cinch! You go to photobucket.com, register, then go to make photo album I think. There is a place to upload from your computer. Hit browse and it will open up your picture files, click on the one you want and add it. When you have what you want, upload. Then when you are posting hit insert and copy and paste the url from photobucket. It sounds like a lot of steps - but it is really easy. If I can do it, anyone can. Once you go to photobucket it is easy to figure out.

Oh, Bee, I am SO with you on this!!!!!!!!!!!! When I visited my daughter, I had to remember to request UNsweet tea. A few years ago on my way to Disney, my friend and I stopped at ChikFilA for lunch and I ordered tea before I realized it was necessary to specify. That was NOT a pleasant surprise!

Wow, Grumpy is going to be away for a long time. Hope you and the girls have some fun while he's away! I always have a little trouble sleeping when my DH is out of town.

Thought I'd share with the Peeps here that I dug up my old WW materials tonight to see what my points were back in summer 2003. I was right, they were 4 points lower then - and I weigh pretty much the same as when I lost 31 pounds in 21 weeks. So it looks like breaking the total I need to lose into 30 pound interim goals was a good move.
