This thread is very supportive and people here are on all kinds of different diets. Sounds like you need some solutions that will work for you not just in the short term. What is your greatest temptation???
Eating too much. It is the portion sizes that are a problem for me. I grew up in a house where my dad would say stuff like whay dont you like it? You only had one bowl! Etc so i grew accostumed to eating lots of food. I wasnt overweight until I had kids but they are teens and I m getting health issues. I am 223# and it is so overwhelming to think about how much has to come off. I also LOVE carbs. Crave em and added lots of them because I was avoiding fat due to gall stones. Now that the gallbladder is gone I need to curb the carbs and add some healthy fat and proteien. I cant even remember how much water I am supposed to drink!
Here we are all drinking lots of water, exercising as much as we can, trying to eat healthier, sharing our challenges, and confessing our sins. Nobody needs a lecture and you won't get one here. (Bad, bad size 0 nutritionist!!!)
